What do a wrong number text, a burning building, and a quirky florist have in common?A hunky firefighter with an extra-large…hosepipe.In hindsight, I never should have opened that text message. The last thing I needed first thing on a Monday was a picture of some stranger’s, um, eggplant, in my inbox.I also should have replaced the batteries in my fire alarm, because my Friday night did not need … night did not need to end with my apartment building going up in flames.
But it’s fine. It’s fine. Everything is fine.
I’m only lying in a hospital bed with more split ends than I’ve ever had, almost all my Earthly possessions have turned to ash, and apparently, they don’t serve wine to patients in this place.
But like I said, it’s fine.
Until he walks in.
The guy who saved my life. My hero. Noah Jacobs.
And the universe is amusing itself at my expense, because the dirty photo I woke up to on Monday?
It’s his.

Kiss Me Tonight is the second in the Kiss Me series. They are really short entertaining reads. I loved the first one and I think I actually liked this one more! It’s a series of three books about three best friends. We did meet Reagan in the first one. Reagan is fun, honest, hilarious and just your ultimate good time girl. Noah is a sweet, new firefighter to town. They meet in a really unconventional way, which considering this was Reagan’s story was unsurprising the way this worked out! She gets an inappropriate picture in her texts from a complete stranger and starts a relationship from there. Later, after Noah rescues her in a fire in her building, they realize they know each other and the fun ensues from there. I loved these two characters and loved them together even more. Throw in some meddling friends, a crazy great aunt, and some overprotective parents and it was a thoroughly entertaining read. Both books in this series have been so good; I cannot wait for Ava’s book next month!
* I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Reagan is very nice by responding to a pic she wasn’t expecting on her phone via text message. She decides that it’s OBVIOUSLY a wrong number and just wants them to know that. When she gets another text from that same number apologizing, the relationship starts.
Noah hasn’t been in town long but doesn’t know many people. When he tries a dating app after one too many beers it doesn’t go quite as planned. That’s ok though right? He starts texting a girl with a sense of humor and he’s really enjoying these texts.
I love the laughs I always get when reading a book from this author! Seeing the previous characters and getting to know these characters and feeling like I’m right there with them! Her parents and grandma are a riot and just add to the laughs! I can’t wait for the next one and see what she has in store for them!
Oh how I love Regan and Noah’s story!
Regan is a total spitfire! I absolutely love her no filter, her awkwardness and her fierceness.
Noah is just what Regan ordered!
The text conversations between the characters and hilarious!
Ms. Hart crates characters and a world that I want to be in! I would love to have Regan, Halley and Ava as my girl crew! I would love to live in the lovely little town of Creek Falls.
The flow of this story is fast, yet perfect. You get humor, heat and some swoons too!
The way that Noah and Regan “meet” and start their friendship was phenomenal, hilarious and so on point with today’s world!
And as always, Poosh, the chihuahua stole every scene she was in! (Read and you will see!)
I am so digging this series by Ms. Hart and I am looking forward to Ava’s story!
In the second installment of Hart’s Kiss series, she brings together Noah and Reagan in one of the most unconventional romances in Kiss Me Tonight. We previously met Reagan as the snarky sidekick of the town mayor’s daughter. Always quick with a comeback, jibe or jest, Reagan was for sure going to be a firecracker. I just wasn’t sure if she’d find a guy willing to handle her.
Enter Noah. With one incredibly crude text, he changes everything. Turns out, Reagan isn’t the only firecracker in the room. Texting ensues and strange, witty, quirky moments are born into a blossoming relationship that was completely irresistible.
As usual, from start to finish, Hart had me laughing as her characters navigate their oddly endearing romance. Hart has a way of pairing the most quirkiness of relationships together while making them incredibly relatable allowing you the satisfaction of an escape from your daily life. This book was such a feel-good rom-com that left me lighthearted and whimsical. Can’t wait for more from Hart with book three- give me some drama llama!
OMG…..
I devoured this book.
It was so up my alley as Rom com’s go and I literally fell in love with the characters. This story had everything in it in spades. Quirky Reagan with no filter on her mouth, hot save your life Noah, Reagan’s funny girlfriends and outrageous family members and a cute dog, just made this the most entertaining, fun story. I want to be friends with them all!!! It was lighthearted, it was just a breath of fresh air and I cannot wait for the next book in this series. So flipping worth reading and a definite laugh a minute book!!
Kiss Me Tonight is outrageously funny. Over the top tends to be trademark Emma Hart, yet somehow it works. The charm of an Emma Hart novel is the message that hides in plain sight. True beauty comes from being ourselves. It’s the inner and outer imperfections that make us extraordinary. Reagan and Noah are a match made in chaos, but it’s the chaos that keeps things interesting.
This book was hilariously steamy from the very first page. I was literally laughing out loud within seconds of starting this book and it continued throughout the entire story!
It all started with sending a picture to the wrong number. But who knew that mistake could turn into something more? The first “official” meeting between Noah and Reagan was ON FIRE, literally. Their chemistry was just as HOT throughout the entire story.
The banter between the two of them was perfect. It was hilarious and you just can’t help but laugh out loud when you read it. I couldn’t put this one down. It was super funny, super swoony and such an amazing light romance.
This is the second book in a series, however, it can be read as a complete standalone. I HIGHLY recommend reading the first book through, because Preston and Halley’s story is equally as hilarious!
‘Kiss Me Tonight’ is the second book in the ‘Kiss Me Series’ by Emma Hart, and I was given an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
I can honestly say no one does romantic comedy quite like Hart. Within the first few pages I was laughing. I absolutely love this plot! It is fun, refreshing and I was easily hooked on the book.
When Reagan Wright is send a picture of a guys junk, she is instantly concerned as to its origins. She knows it’s clearly a mistake, and she can’t help but look at it, but clearly someone has had the wrong number. So she does the one thing she believes to be right… she texts him back.
After a sparring of witty texts and a sharing of snippets of each other’s lives, Reagan can’t help but enjoy the messages from Mr Mystery.
After some persuasion from her partners in crime, Halley and Ava, she finally musters up the courage to ask for his name, never knowing that it will be the start of something.
Noah is a firefighter and new to Creek Falls, so when he attempts to play the dating game on an app, after having some beers with his friends, he doesn’t anticipate anything to go wrong. But he soon learns that he has not sent it to the intended recipient but a stranger. But instead of the message going deleted, ‘Reagan’ calls him out and informs him. Instead of suffering entirely and being embarrassed, there’s something about her that makes it seem ok, and is the perfect introduction to their friendship. But the more he learns of the purple haired beauty, the more he looks forward to her company.
So when Noah is called out to rescue a purple haired girl from a local fire, he does not expect it to be the texter he’s been bothered about, and if that wasn’t bad enough, she’s stunning in person.
An amazing romance with lots of chemistry and an overall fun vibe that kept me laughing and addicted to all the characters. I adored Poosh the chihuahua, and how life like Harts characters are.
I am so ridiculously excited to read Ava’s story to see how this trio ends. Absolutely fabulous, and perfect for romantic comedy lovers and anyone who loves the romance genre.
Yet another winner by Emma! 5 bright stars for this one! I can’t wait for the next one!
Meet Reagan, still just as sassy as in book 1. When she gets an unexpected, unsolicited male body part picture texted to her from an unknown number, what is the proper thing to do? Of course respond back, and this is how she starts corresponding with Noah.
Their story will have you laughing out loud, and you’ll be happy to have the whole crew included in this story! Sit back and enjoy!
I love Emma’s books, I’m sure you will too! Make sure you grab this one when it releases!!
*4 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
This was a nice and easy read, and I read it in one day. I wasn’t too sure how to expect Reagan to be after the amount of snark in the first book, but I pleasantly found I liked her more than Halley.
The way that she and Noah meet sure is not conventional, but it sure was fun. These two connect and understand each others sarcasm and quirks right away, although that’s mainly more on Noah understanding Reagan. I really liked the text message banter between the two, and even Reagan’s group messages with the girls.
Noah and Reagan’s story flows seamlessly and is a really nice, fluffy and easy read. We also have some great secondary characters thrown in as well.
I wouldn’t mind a Noah of my own, Emma, you can make that happen right?
I really enjoyed this story, and I’m looking forward to Ava’s book next month.
A wrong number text is bad enough, couple that wrong number text with a picture of the male anatomy and you have the makings of what can be an awkward situation. Reagan took it in stride and informed said stranger that there was a mix up, from there a sort of friendship ensued. Reagan never imagined that the wrong from the wrong number text would end up being the guy that saved her.
Noah was embarrassed about the wrong number text sure, but he never thought in a million years he would ever meet the person he sent the text too. However, fate had other plans. When Noah discovers the recipient of his wrong number text is the girl he saved, its safe to say the two become friends of sorts. However, what starts out as a friendship leaves both Reagan and Noah with more than just friendly feelings towards each other. Can an awkward wrong number text turn into more?
From start to finish I was laughing while reading this book. This was such a feel-good story, and the wrong number text is so relatable! Maybe not the picture included, but the rest…hilarious! This story was lighthearted and so easy to read, I loved it! I loved the first book in this series, and now I am on edge waiting for book 3 because dear Ava needs her happily ever after! I love that Emma Heart writes about such quirky and sassy heroines! Bring on book 3!!
Most women aren’t quite as accepting to getting an eggplant pic from an anonymous person, but Reagan let Noah (once she learned his name) know that he sent a picture of his junk to the wrong person and also, btw it’s not so bad looking for, you know, a peen pic.
And so began their texting friendship. A strange back and forth that neither one ever thought would amount to more than quirky moments between their working day or late night/early morning hellos or good nights. That is until Reagan has an apartment fire and Noah just so happens to be the fireman who rescues her. Well, their awkward relationship just moved to a whole new level.
Kiss Me Tonight is an adorable look at how social media introduces us to people we might never get a chance to meet, even if it is accidently. It forces us out of our mundane and then when life or karma or destiny, whatever you would like to call it, steps in and pushes us to take that next step well…..you may or may not be ready.
Staying behind your phone or computer is the safe place to be….real life is just plain scary, ask Reagan, but she did survive a fire and Noah is her real life hero, so not everything is bad. When the man of your dreams turns out to be real perhaps the real world isn’t so scary after all.
Kiss Me Tonight is full of adorable moments with Reagan and her friends, her crazy family, a cute chihuahua, and lots of steamy build up between Noah and Reagan.
