What do a wrong number text, a burning building, and a quirky florist have in common?A hunky firefighter with an extra-large…hosepipe.In hindsight, I never should have opened that text message. The last thing I needed first thing on a Monday was a picture of some stranger’s, um, eggplant, in my inbox.I also should have replaced the batteries in my fire alarm, because my Friday night did not need … night did not need to end with my apartment building going up in flames.
But it’s fine. It’s fine. Everything is fine.
I’m only lying in a hospital bed with more split ends than I’ve ever had, almost all my Earthly possessions have turned to ash, and apparently, they don’t serve wine to patients in this place.
But like I said, it’s fine.
Until he walks in.
The guy who saved my life. My hero. Noah Jacobs.
And the universe is amusing itself at my expense, because the dirty photo I woke up to on Monday?
It’s his.

I can tell from the cover that this book is going to be a fun read and I’m so happy I was right, this book is an easy-to-read fun cute Rom-com.
From the first chapter my face hurts from laughing so much, from D*ck pic to the crazy family and friends, oh yeah so many things that keeps me laughing and smiling. Great sweet romance story, although there’s not much drama happening, I keep expecting something bad will happen on the next page, but it didn’t happen, I’m still a happy girl though, thanks to aunt Bethel and the quirkiness of Reagan and her best friends. Great story, amazing loveable characters, perfect steaminess portions, definitely love this book and can’t wait to read the next one.
If you need a good laugh, I think this book is perfect for you.
I’m loving this Kiss Me series so much!!!
This book was so dang hilarious my stomach ached from laughing so hard! This is my favorite in this series so far but I can’t wait to see what happens with Ava in Kiss Me Again!
When Noah texts a very risqué picture to the wrong number, he isn’t ready for the great reply and conversations he has with Reagan. When Reagan’s apartment building catches on fire, none other than Noah shows up and saves her. They start to have a friendship as he is new to town and she, being born and raised in town, knows everyone. As their non-dates slowly turn to more, I loved every minute of their relationship.
I’m so glad we got to see everyone, including those pesky yet cute raccoons from the first book. I enjoyed all of the secondary characters in this story. They are hilarious and wonderful, just like in all of this author’s books! I can’t finish this review without mentioning Poosh, an underwear eating chihuahua who has my heart and I’ll be the first to admit I’m not all that fond of small dogs.
If you’re looking for a feel good, hilarious, romance series, this is it!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
Florist Reagan Wright’s dream guy is a tall, hot, tattooed firefighter with a rescue Chihuahua. Too bad all Reagan’s got going on are text conversations with Noah who sent her a d*** pic by accident. That is, until Reagan gets rescued from a fire by tall, hot, tattooed firefighter Noah. What happens when Reagan discovers that Noah the firefighter is the same guy she’s been texting with? Is this fate or is it just a coincidence?
Kiss Me Tonight is a fun, comical and steamy story you’ll lose yourself in
Hilarious. Unique. Quirky.
When it comes to books written by Emma Hart I never know what to expect but something sarcastic, hilarious and something truly unique.
‘Kiss Me Tonight’ is no exception. In fact, this whole series I think it’s going to be the best she has ever written.
This book is something seriously unique and funny, full of sarcastic comments, banter, steamy scenes and the most inconvenient ways to meet someone. Who knew an accidental d*ck pick could create such a good background for a book!
We have already met and fallen in love a little bit with Reagan in the previous book of the series, ‘Kiss Me Not’, but the love for her just grows and grows throughout this book.
She’s a strong-willed and independent woman with purple hair and sarcasm in her veins. She knows what she wants and she is not afraid to get it, she doesn’t own a filter and is not ashamed of her shenanigans, especially when they involve her two crazy best friends too.
Reagan is a little, or a lot, crazy herself but that only adds to her charm and her unique personality.
Nothing throws her off balance in her life, except for maybe an unwanted d*ck pick followed by the craziest week of her life.
Noah is a hot as sin firefighter who has checked every possible item on every girl’s dream off. He’s a true gentleman, despite a drunken error message to the wrong number, he’s caring and sweet. He’s driven and hard-working, he happens to have a line of sarcasm in his DNA too and his favorite hobby seems to be bantering and laughing with a certain crazy purple-haired girl.
Did I mention he’s a firefighter? And that he has a Chihuahua that belonged to his grandma? And who also has a habit of stealing underwear?
Yeah sounds crazy right? But it couldn’t fit in more! We had raccoons in the first book and a pantie-stealing chihuahua in this one, now I cannot wait to see what happens with Ava in the third book of the series.
Noah and Reagan’s relationship might have an unconventional start but it couldn’t be any more perfect.
Everything in this book is a perfect balance of craziness, shock, and sarcasm to a level you’ll need to read this while you’re home alone so no one thinks you’re crazy for having conversations and laughing with a book. Just sayin’.
This book is hilarious, unique and fast-paced. It never gets boring and you’re always dying to see what happens next, even if you know it’ll shock you, scare you or make you wanna pee your pants from laughing.
This is for sure a must-read if you like weird and unconventional books filled with a crazy group of best friends, even crazier series of events and just something that will stick with you forever.
I am gonna admit right here right now that Emma Hart has become the Queen of Sarcasm and I cannot wait to see what else she’s got in store for us!
Kiss me tonight is the 2nd book in the Kiss me series and can be read as a stand-alone! But like always, I prefer starting from book one, to get to know all characters!!
Emma Hart’s heroine Reagan is quirky, sassy and has sarcastic written over her all over the place.
Noah, the hero in his fire fighter outfit is definitely my favorite so far in this series. I fell in love with him he’s absolutely swoon worthy, his whole demeanor is great, and takes everything her family dishes out (omg Aunt Bethel ) with good humor!
If you like a great group of friends, hilarious and awkward and sassy ladies, this series is absolutely IT for you!!!
I can’t wait to read Ava’s story! Thank you Emma for brightening up my day!!!
I kindly received an arc for an honest review
Absolutely fabulous!
With the second in this series Emma Hart brings us the story of Noah and Reagan. We first met Reagan as the sassy best friend of the mayor’s daughter in Kiss Me Not, the first book in this series. I loved her feisty sarcasm from the start. And know I so want to be her bestie!
Noah had me falling hard and fast and I couldn’t get enough of him. I loved that he was able to hold his own with Reagan and their banter had me laughing out loud from the start. He had me swooning hard.
Hart sure can deliver a Rom-Com that you won’t be able to put down. She hooked me from the first page and never let me go. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next in this series! This one can totally be read as a stand alone but I do recommend grabbing the first in the series as well, as it is also amazing. You won’t regret picking this one up!
What do you do when you wake up to a picture of a man’s, shall we say, eggplant, on your phone? Keep texting him of course! Kiss Me Tonight by Emma Hart was a fun and light romance that I enjoyed reading. This is the second book in the Kiss Me series and though it can be read as a standalone, Kiss Me Not is also a fun read.
Reagan and Noah “meet” under very unique circumstances but when they finally meet, the chemistry is explosive! I loved their banter and connection so much. Both characters were very likable and I loved watching them flourish into more as the story progresses!
You really can’t help but go for the ride when reading one of Emma Hart’s books. I laughed so much in Kiss Me Tonight and just enjoyed the journey. This was truly a delightful read and one I recommend reading!
4.5-stars. Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
Kiss Me Tonight is the 2nd book in the Kiss Me series and tells the story of Noah and Reagan. Let me say Emma Hart can paint a dirty picture in words quite well!!! One random dirty picture on a cell phone is how two single people end up meeting. This is what RomComs are made of. Funny, Hysterical, Steamy, Sweet, Swoon-worthy, Witty, Fun, Lighthearted and Romantic.
This story is lighthearted and romantic, the characters have chemistry and connection; the main characters and secondary characters all have that chemistry that connects from start to finish. The plot is fantastic, funny and phenomenal. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait for book 3.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
OMG this was such a fun read in true Emma Hart fashion!
Reagan starts her day with a random text of a male body part sent to her phone from an unknown number. Instead of being totally taken back by this, Reagan starts texting and meets Noah. They start up a fun flirty texting relationship and then her apartment complex catches fire and Reagan needs to be rescued. Enter Noah, the firefighter. Turns out that Reagan’s flirty texting friend Noah, is a firefighter and has just saved her life. This is just the start of the fun relationship between Reagan and Noah.
Of course, there’s a crazy old person in this story in the form of Reagan’s crazy Great Aunt Bethel. If that wasn’t enough, Noah has a panty eating chihuahua named Poosh.
This is a laugh out loud, can’t wait to turn the page and read more kind of book. Truly a fun read! Can’t wait to see what happens to Ava, the third heroine in this crazy friendship.
What happens when sexting goes wrong?
Well, for Reagan, the receiver of the wrong number sext, and Noah, the sender of the wrong number sext, it means that an unconventional conversation commences – one that makes both of them smile and allows them to get to know one another in a more relaxed manner and then when they meet in real life, in another crazy way, the connection they had already formed through texts now has an opportunity to take a new direction and how things proceed between these two definitely fits the crazy journey they’ve already taken with each other.
Like a lot of Emma Hart’s heroines, Reagan is a bit EXTRA, but in the best possible ways, and thankfully, Noah can handle everything she throws at him. She’s quirky, headstrong, and painfully honest, and she owns who she is, which is why she’s so easy to love and want to be around, and I love that despite Noah’s sexting blunder, they just go with it and find something that they never would have if that inappropriate text wouldn’t have been sent to Reagan on accident.
I liked how seamless Noah and Reagan’s relationship progressed. Who knew that a wrong number text would lead to these two hitting it off over text message, forming a comfortable and comical connection, and then heading toward meeting in real life and figuring out that they are just as compatible in real life then they were over texts.
Kiss Me Tonight is another fun, steamy, and quirky read about two characters who turn a mistake into a lifetime of possibilities, and Emma Hart does what she does best in Noah and Reagan’s story – craft likable and endearing characters and construct crazy situations and complications that take her hero and heroine as well as readers on an entertaining and swoon worthy ride.
4 Poison Apples
I LOVE me some Emma Hart, and you will too! If swoony heroes, feisty (and a little too relatable) heroines and some random hilarity are your thing, you need to grab this series and ASAP.
Kiss Me Tonight is the second in the trio. This one focuses on Reagan – purple haired snark princess with just some of the best comebacks in town, and Noah – firefighter by day and accidental dick pic sender by night. Their meet-cute? Perfect and hilarious. Their town, friends and situation? Just the best and entertaining all the time. Their romance? Immediate and inevitable.
READ THESE BOOKS.
Overall Grade: 1/2
I am not usually one who reads a series simply for its covers. And I’m not being fair if I said that I’ve read Emma Hart’s “Kiss Me” series of standalones, simply for their covers. #1 – I like Emma Hart’s rom-coms. She does quirk pretty well. #2 – The first book pulled me in with its sassy heroine and reticent hero. Yet, the covers for this series make me incredibly happy. Like, the type of happiness that bubbles up in your soul and has to be released through little shivers and seat dancing, so I was dying to read these books.
That being said, there were aspects of past Hart books that made me a bit cautious for Kiss Me Tonight. Sometimes, the quirk of her characters can overwhelm the story and make it just plain silly. I can appreciate what she’s doing, wanting to make her readers fall in love and swoon over her characters, while busting a gut in laughter. But it sometimes makes the story disjointed. That is NOT the case with Kiss Me Tonight, however. Trust me, there is silliness galore in this book: an underwear-eating chihuahua, a crazy great aunt, pictures of the male anatomy sent accidentally to unsuspecting persons, and a crazy heroine.
But all of that makes this story charming in a way that I didn’t necessarily feel with the first book in this standalone series, Kiss Me Not. Kiss Me Tonight tells the story of Reagan and Noah. Reagan is one of the best friends of Halley (the heroine of the first book) and the sister of Preston, Halley’s boyfriend. One night, someone sends her a picture – of his male anatomy. Being the sarcastic, sassy heroine she is, she replies to him, letting him know that she is not his intended. This leads to an extended texting relationship over the course of the next week. On an evening later in the week, Reagan’s apartment building is burned in a fire, and she has to be rescued from it. The firefighter who rescues her is Noah, the man who sent her the picture. These two are attracted to each other instantly – first through their texting and then through their meeting. As the story progresses, Reagan and Noah’s relationship moves quickly, worrying her that everything is happening too soon. Will Reagan and Noah settle, or will they grow apart?
This book came at just the right time for me. I had been reading a lot of books that were dealing with heavy subjects such as $ex trafficking, addiction, etc. With those types of subjects, the books are dealing in angst. When you read heavy subjects consecutively, you forget about the fun of romance. Your soul becomes heavy even with a HEA at the end. Hart’s romance, however, is a reminder of what I love about rom-com. Yes, she offers up some moments when you worry over Noah and Reagan’s commitment. But this is never long. This book is feel-good from beginning to the end.
Together, Reagan and Noah along with Reagan’s crazy family and friends serve up the laughs. Kiss Me Tonight is equal parts humor, romance, and steam. It’s a perfect reminder that romance comes in many forms. That if you don’t like one, there is something for you to fall in love with.
And this is what I know. Emma Hart and the Kiss Me series make me laugh. I am absolutely looking forward to Ava’s story, Kiss Me Again, because I trust that Hart can tickle my funny bone and make me swoon one page a time.
3.5 stars.
Kiss Me Tonight is a light and fun read. But it wasn’t my favorite Emma Hart.
I think I’m starting to get bored with a facet of her side characters: the kooky, crazy, has no filter elderly relative. They feel so ridiculously over the top, and while this has worked for me in the past, it didn’t for me in Kiss Me Tonight.
But it won’t stop me from reading more from Emma Hart as Kiss Me Tonight was still a fun read. The chemistry between Noah and Reagan is sizzling and totally loved their meet-cute. Quick and funny, looking forward to the next in the series!
Kiss Me Tonight is the second book in the Kiss Me series and so far the best! I truly love everything about Reagan and Noah. From how they met via text to how they meet in real life and everything that their relationship becomes, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Full of sexiness and sass (along with a crazy family and more importantly, a CRAZY dog), I read this entire book in one afternoon. I was drawn in by Reagan and Noah’s wittiness and I loved the fact there was no drama. This is the perfect feel-good story!
I love a good wrong number text that goes hilariously wrong!! What else would Emma Hart give us but pure uncomfortable comedy at the characters expense!?! I went through Kiss Me Tonight in just a single evening! These three besties are amazing and completely awkwardly hilarious! I can’t get enough of their antics, together or separate, it doesn’t matter. They’re always up to something. Reagan is upbeat, a bit outlandish. She’s the life of the party. Noah is new in town and he’s a firemen… commence the immediate and automatic drooling! It gets worse because he totally adorable and sweet!!
So ya get it, if I wasn’t completely smitten and smiling sillily at these characters then I was laughing pretty hard at them! Emma Hart always knows how to write her characters, her people so they are impossible not to adore. Kiss Me Tonight was sweet and enchanting and I couldn’t read it quickly enough! Hart’s writing is just as amazing as her characters and if you can’t tell… I am obsessed with the characters!! I am patiently, read impatiently, waiting for Ava’s story because I just know, read expect, Emma Hart to kill this conclusion!!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Honestly, I jumped all over this story because the hook was too good to ignore.
It seems the first glimpse we get of the hero is when he sends a compromising picture of an intimate part of his body to the heroine’s phone. By accident, of course. The texting that ensues is all fun and quirkiness.
Reagan is quite nonchalant about the crude introduction to Noah’s pride, so they start this exchange of teasing and stimulating conversation. To my delight, it jumps from virtual to a fantasy in the flesh when a firefighter rescues Reagan in an intense scene where her block of apartments is set on fire. And the hero is none other than Noah!
The spark goes from their accidental phone relationship into an adorable and really friendly time of non-dates. It’s sweet, it’s funny, and the hot firefighter is quite the catch. In between catchy dialogues and mounting desire, family and friends flesh out the plot with their unique brand of craziness. I loved hearing about the racoons again from the previous book in the series, and here there’s Poosh, a chihuahua that steals quite a few scenes.
Passion and feelings merge at the right moment, never losing the author’s quirky touch that either makes you laugh or just smile non-stop. It ends rather sweetly, and introduces the drama-llama setting for the next book… which I’m totally reading.
Kiss Me Tonight is the second book in the Kiss Me series, and I absolutely loved it!!
Emma Hart is my go-to author for fun, hilarious & easy reads, and she definitely outdid herself with this one. I was sucked in from the very first page and read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down, and even after I kept scrolling hoping there was more!
What happens when you start your week with an accidental dirty photo message and end it being carried out of your burning apartment building – by the same guy who sent the message? That’s currently Reagan’s life, and it just keeps getting funnier from there.
I can’t even tell you how much I loved Reagan & Noah! With a sassy attitude and zero filter, (and sharing my hatred of Ted Mosby,) Reagan quickly became my latest girl crush. A hunky, tattooed, firefighter, Noah’s adorably sweet and funny. With loads of chemistry and a shared hatred of tv characters, their relationship is fun & they are definitely one of my new favorite couples. Halley, Ava, Preston & Aunt Bethel are perfect addictions, amping up the comedy and ensuring a laugh out loud storyline.
Kiss Me Tonight is a flirty, fun read with the perfect amount of steam. It’s exactly what I’m looking for in a rom-com & I highly recommend it!
This story was so much fun and absolutely hilarious. It was quirky and smart and I loved these characters. They had me swooning and laughing and completely falling. I could not put this book down. Emma never disappoints. She writes my favorite rom-coms and this one was no different. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
***5 ‘#TeamPoosh’ Stars***
Well, maybe it should be #TeamDickPic for the win, but that’s probably a bit much…maybe…not really.
Anyways.
This was such a fun read!
So. Much. Fun.
I’m a tinsy bit upset that there were no more words to read, but my consolation prize is that there is one more book coming and I KNOW Reagan and Noah will be in it!
If you can’t already tell, I ADORED Reagan and Noah. ADORED them. Together, separately, in the company of Reagan’s crazy great aunt…didn’t matter. These two had me grinning like a loon the entire time. Noah is all kinds of laid back smexy. He’s got a great sense of humor and can shoot the shit like a champ. Reagan..to use her own words…is an “asshole” but that’s only because she is blunt and to the point. She doesn’t pull her punches and embraces all that she is ~ even her faults.
Noah and Reagan’s journey to their HEA was all kinds of fun! I loved how, from the very start ~ even if that start was a bit…revealing ~ they simply clicked. The bantering was on point and when they finally meet, they had a kind of flow that made it easy to see that they could be so much more if only they took the chance.
I simply devoured this book. From Noah and Reagan, to Halley, Preston, Betty, Boris & Poosh,, Ava and Great Aunt Bethel ~ it was kind of everything. It was also extremely low on the angst, so if you’re looking for a fun, and at times OTT crazy, romance ~ then this is an absolute must read. And now to wait as patiently as possible for Ava’s book!

4.5 Stars!!
Kiss Me Tonight is the second book in the Kiss Me Series and follows the story of Noah and Reagan. Reagan’s story starts off in the most unconventional way. She wakes up to find that she’s been sent a naughty picture. Obviously, it was sent in error, but she can’t help herself from responding. From that moment on, an unexpected friendship forms between Reagan and her stranger. Fate has plans for these two and when it comes to fate, all you can do is just sit back and enjoy the wild ride.
I have to say that Kiss Me Tonight is my favorite romantic comedy from Emma Hart this year. I mean, she totally knocked it out of the park with this one. Reagan is top notch. She’s got zero filter and isn’t afraid to give it to you straight. Her family is totally nuts, and will leave you in stitches over their antics. But, there is more to Reagan than meets the eye. Yes, she’s sarcastic and says whatever is on her mind, but when she loves, she loves hard. She keeps it real and isn’t afraid to be herself. And then we have Noah….Noah. Noah. Noah. He is the total package and is 100% swoon worthy. He’s not perfect. He can’t be since it was his picture is what brought him and Reagan together. But, you know, in this day in age, dating is HARD. Anyways, Noah doesn’t shy away from the crazy that is Reagan. He embraces it and just goes with the flow. He is exactly what Reagan was missing from her life.
I really enjoyed getting to know Reagan and Noah. Their story had me laughing so much that I had a seriously hard time containing it. Their chemistry was instant and I fell in love with both of them just through their text messages. Their chemistry was palpable and off the charts. I just couldn’t get enough of these two together. And one of the things I loved the most was just the ease of their relationship. There was no drama, no over the top moments, no angst. Just a straight up romance that kept me on my toes and left me begging for more.
Kiss Me Tonight is just what the doctor ordered and is a must read for any romantic comedy lover. I laughed. I swooned. I had the absolute best time. Reagan and Noah’s story was a terrific one to spend my day getting lost in and I just loved every single moment of it….
