What do a wrong number text, a burning building, and a quirky florist have in common?A hunky firefighter with an extra-large…hosepipe.In hindsight, I never should have opened that text message. The last thing I needed first thing on a Monday was a picture of some stranger’s, um, eggplant, in my inbox.I also should have replaced the batteries in my fire alarm, because my Friday night did not need … night did not need to end with my apartment building going up in flames.
But it’s fine. It’s fine. Everything is fine.
I’m only lying in a hospital bed with more split ends than I’ve ever had, almost all my Earthly possessions have turned to ash, and apparently, they don’t serve wine to patients in this place.
But like I said, it’s fine.
Until he walks in.
The guy who saved my life. My hero. Noah Jacobs.
And the universe is amusing itself at my expense, because the dirty photo I woke up to on Monday?
It’s his.

“She tasted like temptation and the death of all my self-control. She tasted like someone who could be the rest of my life.”
Reagan and Noah for the win!! I loved their story from beginning till the end!
It was swoon worthy and made me laugh so much. Who could have thought that sending a D pick to a wrong number could be the start of something epic?
In Kiss me Tonight, we meet the girlfriends again and their interactions , their texts had me LOL several times. However, aunt Bethel had me in stitches – when she tells Reagan that she was not the next Sam Jobs I literally spurted water and couldn’t stop laughing !
Noah is sexy, witty, funny and if you combine this with the fact that he lives with Poosh… he has it all
I couldn’t believe Betty had babies !!
Reagan and Noah’s story is a romcom that will guarantee you to LOL and be prepared to be hooked from the very first TEXT!
“I’d kissed the literal man of my dreams.”
This story was fun, sexy, and oh so good! Reagan was the type of heroine I could imagine being besties with. Quick wit and fun, you can’t help but love her. Noah is sexy, easy going, and the perfect hero.
The secondary characters added so much entertainment to this story, and I can’t wait for the next couple!!
This is definitely a must read!!
I love when Emma has a new book! I first got introduced to Emma’s book with the Holly Wood series which I loved, I mean loved!! God I miss them. Anywho since then I have a fan so I was happy to read this book, I loved it, Loved Noah whom sounds Hott! and I totally agree with Reagan who doesn’t love a firefighter with tattoos? Anyone yeah I think not and I loved the Aunt she was hilarious I wanted them to let her loose a little I wanted to see what she would do or say. My only regret is that I didn’t start with Hayley and Preston (sigh) I was sad that I didn’t start with them however I will rectify that tragedy since I love books about a group of friends like these girls..And can’t wait for Ava’s!! Can you tell that I enjoyed?! So my buddies grab a copy and Enjoy!!!
Rcvd and ARC at no t cost to author..Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.
Kiss Me Not was fun, but Kiss Me Tonight was just amazing!! I read this book on a Monday (we all know how a Monday can be) and it made my whole day better. This is a romantic comedy that can brighten up the worst day. Emma Hart’s writing sucked me in from the start and wouldn’t let me go!
Reagan gets an unsolicited picture and let’s just say it’s not something she asked for. Being the polite and to the point person she is, she let’s this guy know he has the wrong number! I already liked Reagan and she’s even better in this book. She doesn’t hold back her opinion and tells us how it is. I love how even though she seems really confident, there is a bit of an insecure side to her. That makes her feel more real and made me love her character even more.
Noah is definitely the perfect book boyfriend (well, except for sending pictures like that to strangers). He’s new to town and just trying to find his way. And don’t forget that he’s a tattooed firefighter (that scores points, haha). Even though he’s more of a “manly man”, he now takes care of his grandmother’s chihuahua. This made me laugh quite a few times. He’s funny, caring and definitely brave.
Reagan and Noah definitely don’t meet in the most conventional way, but it works! There conversations are so much fun and just brings a smile to my face. Yes, they may have connected really fast and I’m normally not a fan of people falling for each other so fast, but it just works for this book! The romance is definitely there and the added sarcasm made it perfect in my book!
On top of these two amazing characters, we read about the best friends we meet in Kiss Me Not and get updates about the raccoons! Reagan’s family is nuts but caring and I loved the TV show discussions in this story. The only negative thing I can think about this book is that it was too short! I need more Reagan and Noah, but I’m also excited for the next book. Emma Hart is an author I will definitely keep an eye on!
So I loved first book in this series of standalone titles, Kiss Me Not. Honestly, I almost always love all books by this author. And of course the way this book starts out, the description, well, I was laughing before I even actually started the book! What I’m loving most about this series, other than the hilariousness of all the characters and situations, is how real it is. It doesn’t have a ton of drama, just the things that every day people might go through in a relationship. And sometimes that’s all I want. I love how much the types of comments the characters make to their friends and family are so much exactly like what I might say to my own friends and family. And then, one bit in this one I loved was her comment about the Justin Timberlake poster in her bedroom. How when she was a kid the way JT was looking at her that way because he wanted to marry her, but now it was because he wanted to kill her. So freaking hilarious to think about how the movie stars or singers that we had crushes on in the day used to do the “blue steel” looks for their posters, or maybe you’d call it the duck lip look. LOL!!! I don’t know if I can describe just how much I love this author’s writing!!! We also got to enjoy Preston and Halley from Kiss Me Not, including raccoon babies! I can’t wait for Ava’s book next, which at the moment, looks like it will be published on my birthday in October!
Favorite Quotes:
“Aunt Bethel,” I said, pinching the bridge of my nose. “I am not going to stage a boudoir shoot for you to give Harry James for his birthday. He has a pacemaker and a stent. You’ll kill the poor man.”
With those muscles, the only thing sweeping you off your feet is a hurricane.
I’m in my old bedroom and there’s a poster of Justin Timberlake with noodle hair.
I would bet a hundred bucks that he’d never met anyone like me before. Not that I was tooting my own horn— I knew I was what normal people called ‘unique.’ I mean, my best friend fed raccoons, so compared to her… I was only a little strange.
Men like him were why catfights started. It was evolution. We women were biologically wired to seek out and find the strongest, most manly man we could so we could procreate and keep up the questionable strength of the human line. Noah fit that to a tee. He was definitely the kind of person I’d pop a few crotch goblins out with.
My Review:
Emma Hart is a clever minx, and I am irrevocably besotted with her. I adore her irreverent humor and saucy wit while I jealously covet her snappy wordplay. This is the fifth book of hers I have read and her quirky characters and amusing storylines (both full of sizzle and sass) have never failed to produce giggle-snorts in ample measure while leaving a near-permanent smirk on my face. Kiss Me Tonight was no exception.
Written in my favorite dual POV, Kiss Me Tonight begins with the unusual and somewhat alarming event of an errant text message with a little something extra, well, actually, a big something extra, an intimate exposure of a male’s… sacred member. It seems the female which the drunken Noah had been corresponding with on a dating site had requested a… candid shot, but supplied a bogus or incorrect number for the private text. The message ended up on the spunky Reagan’s phone and had her debating what course of action to take. Reagan was such a fun and lively character, she was a self-proclaimed “drama llama” with an even quirkier family which included a feisty and highly inappropriate octogenarian, my favorite kind, of course.
I will be anxiously awaiting the next cheeky installment to this humorous series.
What a fun series! I think I liked this one even better than the first one, and that’s saying something. Reagan and Noah meet awkward and then meet again romantic; it is one of the most unique character introductions that I have ever read, and it totally works for these characters. I loved that they “got” each other and thoroughly enjoyed their banter. An excellent second installment of an enjoyable series. It all started with an inappropriate text from a stranger . . . After some harmless texting Regan thinks she may be interested in meeting the hunky firefighter. When her apartment building catches fire, however, the random texter becomes her rescuer when he saves her from the burning building.
Noah’s drunken bad decision may have been one of the luckiest mistakes he’s ever made when the woman he accidentally sends a dirty picture too ends up being much cooler than he could have ever anticipated. New in town, it’s fate that she happens to be the woman he rescues from a burning building when he didn’t even know they lived near one another, as they hadn’t even exchanged last names yet.
Now that they’ve met face to face, will the flirty banter of texting be able to translate into something more?
I loved Reagan and Noah from the first raunchy text! The unintended text was hilarious and broke the ice and started a friendship based on humor before they ever laid eyes on one another. Their relationship felt so easy and comfortable that they literally just fell into it once they actually met in person.
I enjoyed how outgoing and independent Reagan was and loved that the author gave her depth by having some vulnerability in trusting her feelings. Noah is really chill, funny, sexy and sweet as can be! He really is Reagan’s dream guy in the flesh . . . especially since he also has a rescue chihuahua. Their relationship really did feel like fate was behind everything!
While major drama . . . hello, Reagan’s home burned down . . . brought the couple together, as an actual couple they were relatively drama free (other than crazy Aunt Bethel whose antics are comedic gold) which made for a happy, fun and relaxing romance! 5 stars.
I am loving this Kiss Me series and was excited to get Preston’s sister’s, Reagan, story.
Reagan is a tell it how it is kinda’ girl. So what does she do when she unexpectedly receives a nude text from the wrong number? Well, she kindly texts back that its the wrong number. This leads to a conversation between her and the unknown sender. But after a fire rips through her apartment, she quickly learns who the unknown sender is…. none other than the hot fire fighter who saved her, Noah.
Noah checks all of Reagan’s boxes, but it’s been so long Reagan isn’t sure how to navigate from a seemingly great friendship into something more. What happens? You’ll definitely want to one click this steamy, hilarious ride.
Now for Ava and Ethan’s story. 🙂
A MUST READ for 2019!!
Love the crazy characters and their family and friends. All because of a mistaken sent text……
I love Emma Hart’s books and this book is no different!!!
If you love swoon worthy heroes, feisty and at time quirky heroines then this book is one you will want to read immediately.
Kiss Me Tonight is the second book in this series and focuses on Reagan.
Reagan is a feisty, purple haired, independent women. She has many witty comebacks that had me laughing out loud.
Noah is a hot, tattooed firefighter, who just happens to send a dick pic to the wrong number.
This meeting maybe unusually however for these two it really worked. Also, these two have comebacks for days that keep each other on their toes. I was laughing almost every time one of them had a witty comeback.
I can’t wait for Ava’s story!!!
Five funny stars for Reagan and Noah !!!
I know that Emma Hart writes romantic comedies that can turn your day from bad one to a happy day where you laugh all the time, but this book was much more!
This book stole my attention from the first page and I couldn’t take a break from reading because I’ve really enjoyed reading it.
Reagan and Noah’s conversations are everything!
If you’re looking for one quick read and which will also make you laugh, then this is a perfect book for you!
P. S. Don’t read it in public !
What an amazing read from Emma!
As per usual, Emma has taken me on a hilariously romantic journey from start to finish. I have never been as captivated as I am now by a wrong number.
If you have read any previous books by this amazing author, you know that she is the queen of witty banter and snark. This novel is no different. It brings you all the classic elements I have come to expect, but it also takes things to a whole other level. I have honestly never laughed so hard, then when I am reading a novel from Emma. She has this way of turning simple, seemingly insignificant elements, into something not only significant, but also relatable and hilariously funny.
Reagan and Noah are a beautiful couple to read about. They are such a perfect, and slightly unusual pairing. When you first meat these two characters, I never imagined I could love them together as much as I did. They are a swoon worthy book couple.
5/5 Stars!
4.5 Kissing Stars
This is the second book in this brilliantly witty series from Emma Hart and I absolutely love this series as its fast become my favourite.
I simply love Reagan and her straight talking, sassy ways. I love her wit and humour throughout this tale. And Noah, sswwwoooonnnn <3<3 firemen in my area are certainly NOT like him!! The chemistry between them is off the charts, burning red hot from the moment they start texting, even when they met! The anticipation of waiting for that first kiss...….ssooo hot!
I have totally learnt some new words for cock which had me spitting out my wine! Not sure if A semen lollipop or Pork Sword are my favourites or not.
Going on the basis of the racoons and Poosh I am both excited and scared to see what Emma is going to bring us next with Ava's story which is coming next.
Kiss Me Tonight is the second book in the Kiss Me series by the hilarious, Emma Hart. You can read it as standalone but I do recommend reading Kiss Me Not since it’s hilarious, flirty, and has raccoons! It is also where you first meet Reagan, the non-filtered best friend.
It all started with a dick pic. On a Monday morning. At least it was a nice looking one. Attached to a great set of abs and a seriously hot tattoos. Reagan wasn’t sure the protocol was for this so she just let him know it was the wrong number. Then something happened next that she didn’t expect. He replied. And then on Friday night he saved her life.
A firefighter. Six feet tall with lick-able abs. Tattooed. If he had a rescued chihuahua he would literally be her dream come true. Did he have a chihuahua? If so, this was it. Except her life was a hot mess right now. She was literally homeless. It wasn’t the best time to start dating was it? But…
Noah couldn’t believe it was her. His purple-haired mystery woman. A woman who had no-filter. No shame. And she was right in front of her. He wanted her before he even met her but now? He wanted to throw her over his shoulder and do all the things. Could he handle her kind of crazy?
Hell fucking yeah!
I absolutely freaking loved this book. I laughed from the very first line until the very last one. There were of course moments of getting hot and bothered and serious in between. I loved the banter between Noah and Reagan so much! It was like they have always known each other. They just clicked.
Overall…it’s full of laughter, heat, friendship, love, and flirt. I can’t wait for Ava’s book. It’s going to be epic!
Quotes:
REAGAN: You bent over in the liquor store. I looked. I’m not ashamed.
Laughter burst out of me. Of course she’d looked. I really shouldn’t have been surprised—she’d walked behind me most of the time while we’d been walking the aisles of that store and I thought I’d caught her staring at my ass once or twice. She was shameless. I kinda liked it on her.
Sweet baby Jesus, he was handsome. Men like him were why catfights started.
“I’m starting to feel a little bit objectified,” he said, fighting a smile.
“That’ll be because I’m objectifying you,” I replied, wriggling out of my bra. “Now, are you gonna stand there all day, or are you gonna put that thing to good use?”
Book 2 in the Kiss Me series, easily read as a standalone, but better if read after book 1 to get the background story and meet the characters.
Reagan gets more than an eyeful one Monday morning when a pic is sent to her, obviously not meant for her. Reagan being her unconventional self replies to the sender and tells him his mistake. Its seems Noah sent the pic after getting drunk and apologises lots, but can’t help but like the quirky and sassy responses that Reagan sends him. Lots of texting follows and they ends up forming a tentative friendship.
It’s not until Reagan gets rescued from a burning building that she realises that the handsome firefighter that saved her is none other than Noah, her pic sending friend! They have an undeniable attraction to each other, each not being able to stop thinking about the other, but not sure how the other feels. Their friendship turns into something more, with some non-dates and meeting of Reagan’s family, which of course has the token crazy person in there!!
Loved the banter and the quirkiness, Noah is an absolute catch and just what Reagan needs. They get on really well together, with him loving her purple hair and her non filter and quirkiness, quickly realising that Reagan feels like home. Of course Reagan swoons after hunky tattooed firefighter Noah, who comes complete with the rescued Chihuahua, Poosh, who loves nothing better than running off with underwear and destroying it!
A great read that will leave you with a smile on your face from all the banter in here!
5 HE HAS A CHIHUAHUA Stars!!!
I think anyone in today’s world of social media has either had an unsolicited inappropriate picture sent to them or it’s their greatest fear because EWWWW who wants to see that if you didn’t ask for it?? Well this is how our story begins between Reagan and Noah. And let’s just say what happens next no one could’ve predicted in a million years.
I absolutely loved the banter between these two. What started as a “hey why did you send me that pic?” turns into a somewhat strange friendship. I mean she’s seen parts of Noah that she shouldn’t have but man can Reagan hand out the zingers and Noah comes right back at her…a friendship made in heaven. What neither of them expected was to actually meet one night. And while the circumstances that brought them to this in person meeting are not at all funny, what proceeds to happen after this meeting had me truly laughing out loud.
Noah is a man that’s sexy and strong and somewhat of an alpha and finds himself attracted to this girl he saved even if it’s somewhat embarrassing how they met. What’s clear to him though is this is a girl that doesn’t lay down and let people walk all over her. She’s sassy, snarky, beautiful and has family and friends that are just as kooky as she is. Watching their relationship develop was so much fun.
When she thinks about what her “perfect” man is Noah checks all the boxes except for one…until she meets Poosh and then the deal is signed, sealed and delivered! I loved this little ankle biter too!! She’s odd in her own ways and Noah, for all his alpha-ness loves her and doesn’t know what his life would be like without her!
This book moves at a pretty rapid pace. There’s all our favorites from the first book in this series…Halley, Preston, Ava, Reagan’s parents and of course her whacky Aunt, and let’s not forget the raccoons! Once I started this book I found it very difficult to put down because I was laughing so much I needed to see what happened next.
Ms. Hart has written what I think is one of her best books. Her characters are people that I’d love to be friends with not only because they seem like a fun bunch of people, but because they love each other and would do anything for each other. They’re their own dysfunctional family and I absolutely want to be adopted into this family!! Now it’s time for Ava to get her HEA!!
5 Stars
Kiss Me Tonight by Emma Hart is the second book in the Kiss Me series. Even though it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. This is hands down my favorite in the series so far. It had me laughing out loud and I was only on the first page! There is no one that can do rom-coms like Ms. Hart. Besides laughter, there were moments that were sweet and charming too.
Reagan was hilarious! Her one liners were everything! Her life is pretty simple-she works at her family’s flower shop, she’s single, and has an amazing friendship with her two best friends. So when she gets an inappropriate text from a number she doesn’t know, she of course responds being her witty self. Little did she know she’d actually wind up liking the guy…
Noah was completely and utterly swoony!!! He is handsome, funny, and a firefighter. (HOLLA!)He had just recently moved to Creek Falls and doesn’t really know anyone. Little did he know that one drunken mishap and a wrong number could lead to one of the best things in his life.
I loved this story so much! It was well written, had characters that I completely fell in love with, and a storyline that kept me invested from beginning to the end. I am so excited to read Ava and Ethan’s story next!
I love everything Emma Writes!! Raegan and Noah are hysterical. Starting with a wrong number. This book was funny, sexy, and really good!
Not my first read by author but I believe my first official review! I have not read Book 1 in this series yet. I am going backwards but I don’t mind at all. The blurb alone in this is what got me! Plus I have read Emma Hart before and I LOVE her rom-com’s!
BEST START EVER! I now remember why I like the author’s books, FUN! Reagan receives a accidental text, by that I mean a man has send a DICK PIC to the wrong number. Of course, she freaks out then does the one thing you shouldn’t…she texts back! To her surprise, the Mystery man was quiet charming and funny over the text. They exchange a large amount of messages including personal information. Reagan is intrigued and want’s to know more about the mystery man.
Noah is a sexy, single and handsome firefighter, New to town and when one night of drinking went wrong, with his phone that is…he is udderly surprised that his accidental message to a stranger went ANSWERED. In a form of funny and making him feel all kinds of right, for it being the wrong recipient. When a call comes through that a purple haired woman was in need of rescue during a fire, he can’t believe who he rescues.
From then on it really involves, a beautiful friendship, lots’f of laughter and swooning too! Reagan and Noah couldn’t be more opposite in ways but so similar in all the other! It was a fun book yes but very romantic, exciting and I didn’t want it to end.
A MUST READ!
