What do a wrong number text, a burning building, and a quirky florist have in common?A hunky firefighter with an extra-large…hosepipe.In hindsight, I never should have opened that text message. The last thing I needed first thing on a Monday was a picture of some stranger’s, um, eggplant, in my inbox.I also should have replaced the batteries in my fire alarm, because my Friday night did not need … night did not need to end with my apartment building going up in flames.
But it’s fine. It’s fine. Everything is fine.
I’m only lying in a hospital bed with more split ends than I’ve ever had, almost all my Earthly possessions have turned to ash, and apparently, they don’t serve wine to patients in this place.
But like I said, it’s fine.
Until he walks in.
The guy who saved my life. My hero. Noah Jacobs.
And the universe is amusing itself at my expense, because the dirty photo I woke up to on Monday?
It’s his.

OMG!!! This book is so funny! It is the funniest book by Emma Hart I have ever read. I absolutely loved it! This is definitely my favorite of the Kiss Me series by far. Emma mixes up the romance and comedy in the most perfect way, making this book a must read!
Reagan’s perfect man is a unicorn of sorts. He is a hot tattooed firefighter with a rescue chihuahua. At least he is real in her dreams. Reagan is the fun one of the group, with a beautiful curves and gorgeous long thick purple hair. Yet she is unable to find someone.
Reagan’s life changes in one night. In ways she doesn’t expect fate is about to intervene in the form of a dick pic texted to the wrong number.
Noah is new to town and only been here about six months. Dating is not easy, as he finds when using a dating app. But one drunken night and a wrong number given, sets him on a path he never imagined. What do you do when you send a picture of your dick to the wrong person? Right! Well at least the girl who got it was cool about it.
Through text messages these two get to know each other. Hey the mystery is fun and they will never meet. So why not have fun with it right? Well you know fate……it always gets it’s way.
This book is the perfect mix of snarky fun humor and hot steamy romance. The characters are wonderful. The stories in the Kiss Me series just get better and better as they go. I can’t wait to see what happens to Ava.
If you love hot men, hilarious fun and sweet romance, then this book is up your alley. A steady flow of fun that is sure to entertain it’s readers. You will never read about a set of characters as fun as these. With a romance that will give you butterflies in your tummy just thinking of them kisses and snarky humor that will have you laughing out loud, this book is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end.
If you haven’t read Halley’s story, then pick up Kiss Me Not for some kissing booth fun.
This is the second book in the Kiss Me series and my absolute favorite so far! Reagan and Noah’s relationship developed in an unusual way but definitely not an unrealistic way. Reagan and Noah were nothing short of sarcastic, fun, witty and sexy which only drew me more and more to their story. I pretty much laughed my way through page after page of this book due to the banter between the two of them, the bestfriends and her family. Another win for Emma Hart and her must read romcom’s!
Kiss Me Tonight by Emma Hart
4 out of 5 stars
A missent text message started it all → a very irresponsible thing to do, but it is how readers should take this book – recklessly easy-going.
Reagan is a florist with a sassy personality. When an inappropriate message came her way, she took it as a joke and replied with point-blank courtesy. All is fine and good in Reagan’s life until her apartment burnt down, and coincidentally, Noah was the fireman who helped her out of the burning building. Talk about hero complex!
This story is from a first-person, dual POV, Noah and Reagan’s. There were a lot of coincidences that one can just say this is unrealistic and “too-good-to-be-true.” Granted this, I enjoyed a few things about it.
One of my favorite parts of the story is when Reagan talks about “number neighbor” since the correct recipient to the text can be an honest typo. I laughed my head off of this since Reagan was serious in funny moments. She did not see the “pun” in what she said, but Noah is the normal one – carrying along with her. The banter that came after that was hilarious. That’s what I love with this series – never a dull moment. Just when readers think we get some seriousness, the author brings us back to the rom-com category.
“I was the most confident of the three of us, yet here I was. Texting a guy who’d accidentally wrong-numbered me. It could be worst. I could be texting nobody.” — Kiss Me Tonight, Emma Hart
My second favorite is Reagan’s relationship with her galpals, Halley and Ava. It’s endearing and strong as childhood friendships come. They are the best support system and soundboard for her as she sorts out the possibility of a relationship with Noah because this is all very new for her. Other people seem to think she is nuts in engaging with the mystery “perv” texter. I was glad that she did not deter it from meeting her perfect guy, who just made a spur-of-the-moment lousy choice at the time.
My absolute favorite is Aunt Bethel. She is one of the book’s memorable supporting characters, aside from Reagan’s best friends – Halley and Ava, that I enjoyed. Aunt Bethel’s sassy personality and eccentric clothing choices make me look forward to each of the scenes that come. She has a mischievous streak that would match the rebellious young generation. She loves fiercely yet has the fun-loving side that makes her a memorable and most talked/scolded character. Her sharp tongue is what gets me cracking and sparks so much reaction in the Wrights home.
In summary, Kiss Me Tonight is for readers who want to keep smirking and chuckling with the antics of two hot, adorable and hilarious protagonists and with “crazy people” around them. The plot and theme are a simple one – an escapism book with a cute ending based on how Noah and Reagan met in the first place. The writing is easy to read and currently injected with pop culture references. Sometimes, honest (drunken) mistakes turn out into “meant-to-be meetings,” and if given a chance, something “more” can blossom from there.
Footnote: Do I believe this storyline happening in real life – to find a “soulmate, fated” partner like what Noah and Reagan have? Not really. It is a creepy way to meet someone, and it is rare for a woman to act what Reagan did. Although it’s not a realistic enough book, it could happen (or even happened already) somewhere else in the world. I will be the positive reviewer, given the times and what readers want to pursue.
5 Stars!
Kiss Me Tonight is the second book in the Kiss Me series and was just as enjoyable as the first one. It’s a super cute and lighthearted rom-com.
Reagan gets an inappropriate picture in her text from a wrong number. And she decides to reply and compliment him, which soon leads to a funny and flirty texting friendship between them. And that’s all she thought it would ever be. But it all changes when her apartment building catches fire, and she was rescued by Noah, who’s a firefighter and the man who sent her the picture.
I really enjoyed Reagan and Noah’s story. They’re both sarcastic, funny, and witty characters. Their attraction was instant, and their back and forth banter had me smiling and laughing the whole way through along with her hilarious best friends and her crazy great aunt Bethel.
This book was so fun and sweet.
A wrong number and a inappropriate picture spark a new friendship. That will have you laughing and swooning in no time.
Sassy smart mouth Regan wants what her best friend and brother have. She can’t seem to find someone who will deal with her no nonsense attitude and her mouth to match. If that’s not bad enough her apartment burns down and a sexy fireman rescues her. Could it be the man with the wrong number! Not possible or is it?
Noah moved to a new town and knows no one one wrong text sparked a lot of fun conversations with a sassy purple haired girl. When he rescued her from a fire it just got weirder.
This story was perfect I laughed so much this series is so sweet and who doesn’t love crazy aunt Bethel?
What I wouldn’t give to have a hot story attached to the accidental D pics I’ve received way back when lol. These ladies are hilarious together and just as much individually. Loved Reagan’s unfiltered mouth. Now I’m going into Ava’s story
A nice entertaining story. I liked Reagan’s positive attitude to mostly everything, she had quick comebacks that made me laugh. Noah’s introduction to her is bizarre to say the least. There interactions are really lovely.
Story just needed to be proofread a little more as there are some spelling/grammar errors.
When Reagan opens a text message from an unknown number, only to find a picture of someone’s um … package, she does the only thing she can do and texts back to let the person know it was a wrong number. And so starts a flurry of texts back and forward. This person could be anywhere in the country so what’s a little harmless flirtation. Turns out, he’s close, very close. What are the odds? Pretty good actually! And if Reagan had put the new batteries in her smoke alarm, she wouldn’t have needed to be rescued when her apartment building burned down. And the gorgeous firefighter that rescues Reagan…is the owner of the package. This book is fun, flirty and sassy, but was spoiled by bad editing, grammatical errors and in some cases, just plain wrong words. It’s a great quick read and a great continuation of the Kiss Me series.
Kiss Me Tonight is another amazing read in the Kiss Me series. You will laugh out loud so much with this one. I love the awkwardness of how Reagan and Noah meet. You will just love Reagan and her no filter ways. Noah is swoon worthy just as a fire fighter alone. You can’t help but fall in love with him. The banter is just wonderful. This is a romcom that should be read.
Kiss Me Tonight by Emma Hart was the sweetest read. There was no unnecessary drama. It was a really quick read.
Reagan and Noah were nothing short of sarcastic, fun and witty. I pretty much laughed my way through this book because of their banter. From how they met via text to how they meet in real life and everything that their relationship becomes, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this series and it’s Ava’s story!!
Loved this book the way I love all things Emma Hart. You had me at accidental d!@k pic!
Love this story. Reagan and Noah great meet cute and insta chemistry. Loved the cast of characters including her crazy family.
Very predictable. Fun, easy read
4.5
Definitely the most unique ‘meet cute’ ever!! Kiss Me Tonight is ridiculously fun and super cute! I adored Noah and I love Reagan. How can you beat a sweet and funny tattooed firefighter with a chihuahua? I love Reagan’s little sass and cuteness. These two jive so quick and fast and I love seeing how they blossom. Their situation is a lot of fun and I enjoy that is felt fresh. I flew through the book it was that good!
Let’s just say Emma had me at firefighter…..ok she’s had me as a loyal reader for much longer than that. This being the second book in the series already gave me a clue as to what I was in for ….. laughs, chemistry and a set of wonderful characters. Noah and Reagan were the perfect pair although their first “introduction” to each other may have been pretty unconventional. Sometimes life has a funny way of bringing two people together.
Let’s not forget the cast of secondary characters that add to the story to keep you completely engaged like her best friends Ava and Hailey.
Get ready for more laughs from Emma in the 3rd installment in this series, Kiss Me Again.
Kiss Me Tonight should NOT be read while eating or drinking! Emma Hart is one of my favorite go-to authors, when I want a non-filtered, guaranteed laugh fest. I absolutely loved this story and am counting down the days until the next book in the series releases. This is a must-read, especially if you love a good RomCom!
When Reagan wakes up to a dick pic on her phone, she doesn’t react like you’d think. Nope, she’s totally cool about it, to the extent of texting the guy who obviously sent the pic to the wrong #, and somehow she and Noah strike up a witty friendship. But it’s OK because they’re anonymous, don’t know each other, will never meet. Until she’s saved from a fire in her apartment complex by a hot firefighter, whose sleeve of ink matches that of the hottie who accidentally sent her a picture of his you know what.
Damn, Kiss Me Tonight is freakin’ hilarious! All the zings and the banter between Noah and Reagan, and between Reagan and her besties – pure fun. Reagan is a snarky, tell it like it is chick, and she’s perfection. I absolutely loved her! And then there’s Noah…hot, swoony Noah, he’s the perfect guy for Reagan. I’ve really liked this Kiss Me series, and can’t wait for more!
What can I say that I haven’t said a million times before?! Emma Hart is the absolute best at romantic comedies! I will put everything else aside when I know that I’m getting one of her new releases. They’re not only sure to brighten my day, but they give me an escape and that is one thing that I’ve truly needed a lot of lately.
Noah and Reagan didn’t have the traditional meeting. Well, I guess for today’s society, it was slightly traditional. With the invention of dating websites and sites like Tinder, it really wasn’t all that unordinary. What started out as a wrong number slowly progressed into a blooming friendship of sorts. But all of that was about to quickly change and things were about to really heat up!
I knew Reagan would eventually meet her match and I was ready! She needs someone that is not only able to keep up and tolerate her, but they also have to be able to understand the dynamic of her friends and family. Noah seems to accept it all with open arms! He needs it too what with being new in town! He’s in for a bumpy ride, let me tell you that!

Noah and Reagan were a heck of a lot of fun.
The. Way. They. Meet.
Literally, I am not sure I have ever read this particular meet-cute in any book I have ever come across…and, well, it’s funny and you sort of need to see it to believe it because, well, seeing is believing.
I will also stop with the “see it” jokes now. mainly because mine will not be anywhere as near as charming or funny as those by Ms. Hart, so I may as well just give up and tell you it’s funny and you will enjoy it.
As always, or at least as is within the current trend for this author, this is a romantic comedy and it’s definitely one that leans to focusing on the comedy of the story. It works well in this one, as the comedy and the way they meet sort go hand in hand.
I enjoy all of Ms. hart’s books, but I admit, I enjoyed this one a little more than I have her others…not that the others were bad, there was just something particularly charming about this title.
I enjoyed and recommend this book.
As per most EH books, I was laughing out loud from page 1. A wrong number text seems innocent enough, right? We’ve all gotten them and mostly we’re annoyed. Unfortunately, this wasn’t just a wrong number text … it was a wrong number picture text. Reagan, being who she is, just informed the stranger that perhaps their … photograph wasn’t reaching its intended. Funny enough, they developed a sort of friendship, albeit anonymously.
Noah, the picture sender, was definitely embarrassed that he sent that sort of photograph to the wrong person. Luckily, he would never have to meet the person, even if she seems pretty cool. Well… life has other plans when Reagan is thrown into his path. When they see each other in real life, it seems like there could be more, but would it be too awkward?
Totally a relatable story, well maybe not the picture part, but the wrong number text and the meeting of a stranger. The first book pulled me in and I was more than excited to learn Reagan’s story. I was laughing, cringing with awkwardness, and my heart was definitely full. Can’t wait for Ava’s story!
