She’s too blonde.
Too peppy.
And way too sexy for my peace of mind.
Only, one minute we’re fighting, and the next I can’t keep my hands off her. One hot kiss. One forbidden touch. I don’t do love but . . .
What I want, I take, and what I want is Aspen Levi.
KISS ME TONIGHT is a steamy slow burn romance. It’s the second book in the highly anticipated series, Put A Ring On It, and can be read as a standalone.

I love everything Maria writes. I really enjoyed this book. The banter between the two main characters was fantastic and steamy!
Don and Aspen are funny and intense. They both have been through trials and when the meet there are sparks. Can they let go and be together. I love the characters and storyline Topher is a trip. You need to read this book
Funny, sweet, sexy, steamy…really this book has everything. Love the fact that Aspen is a former football player and the high school coach. Great dynamic between Dominic and Aspen. Anything by Maria Luis, you can’t lose.
Such an endearing story. Dominic stole my heart! He has an unfortunate upbringing in foster care and juvenile detention and spends his life feeling the need to prove himself worthy.
Aspen was young and fell for the older man telling her what she needed to hear. Her marriage was a sham and broke most of her self belief. The best thing, her son Topher.
When Dominic and Aspen join as coaches for high school/varsity football, their relationship is rocky to say the least. Sexual tension and opening up to one another allows them to start trusting and seeing a brighter future.
This book has a lot of ‘feels’, I laughed, got angry and finished reading with a smile on my face. High steam level.
Dominic DaSilva owns me. Loved this book!
If you’re looking for hot steamy romance, great chemistry, and an awesome fall in love story…look no further. Kiss Me Tonight is it!
LOVED this so much!!
Couldn’t love it any harder if I tried.
If you could see me right now, I’m pretty sure you’d see actual hearts in my eyes…not kidding… and also a huge smile on my face. I just finished the bonus epilogue for Kiss Me Tonight and I am smitten.
I am so in love with this story, with the writing, the characters…everything.
Dominic & Aspen have stolen my heart.
Their meet cute was the best.
Their chemistry was sizzling hot.
The banter was so entertaining and so witty and made me giddy and giggly.
Topher was absolutely adorable, too. The relationship with his mom mad my heart swell with motherly love. Such a good son, and such a prankster. 🙂
Humor…YES!
Heart…TONS of it.
Steam…yes, yes, ohmygod, YES. Lots of deliciousness in here.
Not only is this cover pretty and sexy AF, but the story in between the covers is one that will be a top read of 2019 for me.
LOVED. IT. HARD.
I love this book just as much as Hold Me Today. This book was emotional at times. I laughed, cried, at times wanted to punch a certain someone, no spoilers. I loved Dom & Aspen and Topher just cracked me up. Everyone should read this one for themselves.
So many stars. Is it too soon to profess my book love for Maria Luis? Yeah, I don’t think so either….and she already knows, because I am about as subtle as a Mack truck.
These two were everything. One of my absolute favorite couples….ever. Dominic is an ex-football player that was pretty much the man or the “shit” if you prefer, when he stopped playing football. I believe he was compared to Tony Gonzalez….so yeah, the man. He had a great career and is just seeking some peace and quiet after his stint on the reality show, Put a Ring On It. Aspen was an ex-football player too, the first female kicker on a college team. She had been in a terrible marriage and because she is a single mom, doesn’t adult much. Since her ex-husband cheated All. The. Time…..he doesn’t count…at all. The first night these two meet, I laughed so hard. They were at a bar…I know, I know, but they totally were. She had had a few drinks and doesn’t realize who he is, she just thinks of him as the Hulk. The whole scene was hilarious. Actually, this whole book is hilarious and there were numerous scenes in it that had me laughing so hard. The first meeting scene, the fundraiser scene, the mom’s keep trying to get him to pose in a calendar nude with a sock, oh and did I mention this was a high school fundraiser … and then she has a “make-up” issue, the flag football game, the renaming. So damn funny.
These two have unbelievably hot chemistry and that only intensifies when they work together. I loved their witty banter with each other. He grew up in foster care and after her very long, very mentally abusive marriage, these two get each other in a way that I can’t even put into words. These two are definitely soulmates and had my heart. All the emotions, total relationship goals. Dominic is going into my BBC list (book boyfriend collection) and pretty sure he just moved to the top…..so MINE, proud to be a hero hoarder. Absolutely adore her son, Topher, Maria writes the best teenagers, she always nails them. I read a couple of lines to my teenager and he laughed…because it’s totally something he would say. Adore that kid.
This was a safe read. She has an a-hole ex, he tries to be himself, but she and Dominic shut him down. No ow drama, he was on the reality show, but they are just friends and if something happened between them it was not brought up. Dominic is a sexy-funny af ex-football playing alpha with his equally quirky-funny af ex-football playing woman. Their witty banter and quirky humor was one of my favorites that I have ever read. Their chemistry was hot af, like I’m talking get the fire extinguisher ready hot….yeah, I know….that is really, really hot…and so are these two. There were a couple of epilogues, one in the book and then another additional one separately that I loved. So funny, something about Property of Football God and Belongs to Football Legend and an hea. Absolutely great book, this will be a re-read for me. Maria Luis outdid herself on this one, I always love her books, but for me this one is in a league of its own. I your books Maria Luis…all the book love.
What can I say about Kiss Me Tonight that hasn’t already been said?!?
Kiss Me Tonight is the second book in Maria Luis’ Put A Ring On It series; and though it can be read as a stand alone, readers should really start with Hold Me Today in order to avoid any spoilers!
Full disclosure – I was SO not an Aspen fan from the moment she appeared on the page. I even messaged Maria to tell her that (I am not even sorry, girl!)! Now, it is certainly NO secret that Gage, from Tempt Me With Forever, is my all-time favorite of Maria’s leading men. But Dom came pretty darn close to replacing him! There was just something about him that drew me in – I could feel his loneliness. I LOVED the build up between Apsen and Dom, including their banter, and how they just explode together! They each have preconceived ideas about the other, and it was a lot of fun seeing those go up in smoke.
With each new release, Maria’s voice and style as a writer continues to grow. Her characters become more engaging and REAL – and Aspen and Dom are proof of this. I can’t wait to see what she has in store with Love Me Tomorrow!
I voluntarily read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Although this book is closely tied to book #1 in the series, it easily stands alone and has a completely different feel than book #1 had (note…I read this one first and then had to read book #1, too).
I loved this book and the wonderful dichotomy of having the heroine as the high school head coach and the ex-NFL player as her assistant. As could be expected, there was a lot of conflict based on that, but I loved that both these characters are mature about it even when they don’t want to be. It was a fabulous romance and story. I loved Dom and Aspen…and Topher.
Just a great story all the way around. I highly recommend! (and book #1, too)
This is definately one of my favorite books,I fall in love since page 1.Dominic is pro NFL star but got fired and now he is assistant coach. Aspen (mostly they called her Levi) is sassy single mom and head coach. When Dominic and Levi met, their chemistry gave me hot flashes.Slowly burning love and love for sport made this book perfect. They face problems as a team and I enjoy get to know these amazing characters and their stories.Simply amazing!
This is my first book by Maria, and after I finished I’m still wondering how it’s my first book.
It’s hard not to love a book when the first time Aspen and Dominic meet she tells him he’s the world’s biggest asshole and then face plants into his lap!
Aspen and Dominic’s story is a perfect! She hates him before she even meets him! He’s attracted to her from the minute they meet. Their chemistry is on fire, and they are the perfect push, pull, or ying and yang.
Aspen is a single parent trying to raise her son, and get away from her ex-husband who just might actually be the world’s biggest asshole. As a parent you always want what’s best for your child.
Kiss Me Tonight is full of heartwarming, gut twisting, and funny moments. Aspen and Dom’s story will hold a special place in my heart. I just loved and enjoyed every second of this book! I’m still wondering how I have not read any of her other books! That is however going to change because I just got Hold Me Tonight (which is also book one in the series).
Aspen’s back in her hometown after divorcing her douche of a husband of 14 years. She’s brought her teenage son, Topher, along, and is looking to just live her life, coaching the local football team, and finally being free of everything her ex put her through. Then she meets a sexy-voiced stranger at the local bar, and suddenly her life is looking a little more interesting. Until he turns her down after she drunkenly face plants into his um lap. And when she shows up at practice the next day, and guess who her new assistant coach is? Yep, said rejector. Only he’s not just the man from the night before, he’s football god, Superbowl MVP many times over, Dominic DaSilva. AND her son has just scratched Dominic’s truck because he’s a typical teenager with less than stellar driving skills. Oops!
I cannot tell you how much I loved Kiss Me Tonight!! It’s fun and witty, super sexy, and above all, Aspen and Dominic are fire together. There’s so much tension oozing out of every word, every sarcastic little barb they throw at each other. And the way they fell in love, truly seeing and loving each other for who the other really is, seriously, it’s the very best kind of love story. The very best stories, romance or otherwise, have characters with substance, characters the reader can relate and connect to, whether the reader ends up liking them or not, and Aspen and Dominic and the secondary cast are all superb characters with depth, with layers. I loved reading their story and can only wish that they’ll be back for more fun and love.
What do you say about a book you would love to gush about but don’t want to spoil the details? This is my dilemma when it comes to Kiss Me Tonight. Going into reading an advanced copy of the book I was fairly certain I would enjoy the book seeing as I have liked every book from Maria Luis to date. What I wasn’t expecting, was how much I would relate to Aspen and her emotional struggles as a single Mom following a divorce. I have so much respect (and a bit of envy ) for the amazing relationship Aspen has with her teenage son, Topher. Aspen, better known as Coach Levi, works in a field typically left to men. Returning to her hometown in coastal Maine as head football coach, Aspen has some obstacles in front of her. Throw in retired professional football ‘bad boy’, Dominic DaSilva, with a reputation as a ‘player’ and see what unfolds. The wity banter between Aspen and Dominic had me laughing out loud. The personal realization and growth Dominic experiences is inspiring. In the end, I think Aspen and Dominic have definitely earned a place among my favorite book couples. I’m really glad I got the chance to read an advanced copy of Kiss Me Tonight and share my honest thoughts because I think it is a book worth taking the time to read!
****4.5 Stars****
Ahhh I loved Dominic and Aspen!
Maria Luis creates characters that are so incredibly relatable which truly makes for a very enjoyable read.
I always appreciate when a heroine is a little older and while attractive, not always physically perfect.
It’s refreshing and realistic and makes me feel like I could relate to the character more.
I love the fact that Dom played for the Tampa Bay Bucs, if only because it gave me a little thrill that I live very close to their actual stadium which is kinda cool!
Kiss me Tonight was a perfect blend of romance, humor, angst, and STEAM!
A definite feel good romance that will leave you wanting more of the series.
“Handling balls isn’t for everyone.” Best opening line in a book. EVER. Kiss Me Tonight by Maria Luis is book #2 in the Put A Ring On It series. I was hooked from page one, line one. Aspen Levi is one badass babe. She is a former football player and single mom, turned head high school football coach. The Levi name is legendary in these parts and after her divorce she finds herself back in her hometown of London, Maine. Ex NFL player, Dominic DaSilva also finds himself in London Maine, but for entirely different reasons. After getting fired from the popular dating show, Put A Ring On It, Dom realizes that a change is needed. But little did he know that was going to come in the form of an assistant coaching gig behind the spitfire known as Aspen Levi. Kiss Me Tonight is not only funny, but has a depth of character that only Maria Luis can deliver. Both Aspen and Dom are broken, but in different ways. Their chemistry is fun to watch and the way their relationship evolves is pure perfection. If you are a lover of football, strong heroines, swoony football hunks and banter that will leave you literally laughing out loud, then one click this bad boy. You will not be disappointed.
Wow. What a book. Two broken people find what they need in each other. Love isn’t always perfect. However true love heals a broken soul. Dominic was cynical about love. He was left orphaned at an early age and found himself in trouble early in life just to fit in. He found football as a way out of his destructive life, only to earn a bad boy reputation.
Aspen fell for a sweet-talking older gentleman that tried to change everything about her. The best part of her life was her son. The love she found for him helped through a horrible marriage.
Together, they find healing so beautiful, this storyline was so awesome.
A fantastic steamy enemies-to-lovers read from Maria Luis!
I’m not even sure where to start. I waited on pins and needles for the release of this second book in the Put A Ring On It series from Maria Luis. From the bits and pieces she shared in her reader group, the anticipation was off the charts. I was not disappointed.
I really wasn’t sure how she would top Hold Me Today. I had no doubt she could do it, I just didn’t know how. This book was everything promised and anticipated. If a person could combust from just reading about a first kiss, this book will do it.
Dominic and Aspen hate each other. Well, Aspen hates him based on (typical) not quite media truths. After he’s hired to be her assistant coach and, oh yeah, moves in next door, the fight is on. But little by little he worms his way in to her life and this small town. And little by little she gets him to open up. Definitely a great read and the anticipation is now building for book 3 in the series.
