I thought I could handle seeing Cole after all these years.
I thought I could avoid the temptation of his chiseled body, cocky attitude, and soulful eyes.
But one look from him and I’m sweet sixteen again.
My brother’s best friend Cole was my foolish, hopeless teenage obsession. I’ve never felt anything as intense as my time with him, and nothing since has measured up. I know it was impossible for us to stay together, but it still crushed me.
I can’t deny that there’s just the tiniest little sliver of my mind that wonders what might have been.
There’s just the smallest, most fragile corner of my soul that wonders if we could ever rekindle what was lost.
And then there’s my body, screaming ravenously and insistently for just One. More. Night.
As my brother’s best man, Cole and I will be seeing a lot of each other.
He’s made it clear that he wants a second chance, but all the obstacles between us are just as real as ever.
With my heart hanging in the balance, I know I’m in trouble

A great heartwarming story of a couple in love, torn apart by life and decisions made. In college Cole chose his football career instead of his love for Kate. Years later they are in Austin and are together but due to past heartache Kate suffers from doubt about Cole. Full of revealed secrets, doubt, fear, heartache, healing, forgiveness, laughter, passion, and love. A fun, witty, and heartwarming story of love surviving distance and time.

A second chance at first love. The connection that Cole and Kate share inspires true love, proving the heart wants what the heart wants.
From page one I was invested, hoping they got what they both deserved. I adored this beautifully written story and it will surely stay with me for a while.

Kiss Me Like You Missed Me was a great, sweet, second chance romance w/amazing chemistry between Kate and Cole. Enjoyed their story.
The author has written a believable and relatable story with this book. The characters are interesting and the plotline moves at a very fast pace. I felt for her and I wanted to shake him when he took his friend’s advice. I get what they were both trying to do, but they certainly went about it in the wrong way. She was devastated and the fallout was understandingly an acceptable reaction, in my opinion. Then years later, here he comes again. I felt every emotion that went through both of them as if it was real. The dialogue and the prose was so well written, I found myself with tears in my eyes when she admitted to him what happened and his reaction. Same goes for when he finally lets her know his secret and she reacts as she does. Please read this book. The author pulled me into what I thought would be your normal brother’s best friend romance but was really an emotional storm with aspects that most of us have gone through at some point in our lives and brings it to life.
** spoiler alert ** For years, Kate has been in love with her brother’s best friend. Cole has loved his best friend’s little sister for years. Six years ago, he broke her heart. Will Cole be able to gain her trust again? Will Kate finally get everything she dreamed of?
Loved the back story between these two and reading about their struggles. I honestly loved Cole’s character and while I think he did mess up in the past, I loved how in the end he took that chance. I couldn’t blame Kate for being scared due to her childhood and what happened between them in the past. Honestly loved both of these characters and cannot wait for the next book in the series!
Sexy, emotional second-chance romance with terrific characters. In high school Kate crushes on her brother’s best friend Cole and when they’re both in college they do the deed. Cole leaves to pursue his pro football career along with Kate’s brother and years later Cole returns home and finds Kate, a sexy beauty, irresistible. They sizzle together. Lots of emotion and sexy times in the wonderfully written romance.

I really enjoyed Kate and Cole’s story! It’s a nicely written older brother’s best friend second chance story. I really liked the story-line and the characters. Cole and Kate have amazing chemistry! I really enjoyed this page turner read.
This is a great second chance romance between Kate and her brother’s beast friend. It’s got drama, regret but also a sweet love story. It’s a great afternoon escape.
The story was exquisite and impressive, definitely had me intrigued wanting to read page after page as the story flows through and not put it down till the end.
Well written story. Nice story line and plot. The mix of emotions, family issues, promises, heartbreak, strong characters, amazing chemistry and twists makes it a nice read.
I like it is written in dual POV which gives the reader a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and brings the reader more into the story.
I would have liked it not to go back and forth that much because that took some of the joy away from me. Would also have liked it not to be that equal to the previous story in this series. But it is absolutely worth the read.
A wonderfully written second chance love story with love and passion. It has great characters and is a standalone in a series. It is told in dual POV. Kate was smart, strong, and snarky and has been in love with Cole since 16. When she finally had a date with him in college it turned into a life changing, epic disaster. Cole was graduating in a year and would probably play professional football and her over protective brother was his best friend. Years later when he retires and comes back to town he really wants her back hoping he hadn’t ruined his chances. Their journey back together was satisfying and romantic. Well worth the read and great addition to series.

It’s all or nothing in Taylor Holloway’s second chance romance. Kate and Cole are learning to trusts their hearts without letting their heads get in the way. With a little bit of practice and an emphasis on heart, maybe they’ll get it right this time around. Young love equals adult mistakes. Kiss Me Like You Missed Me is a new beginning for two long overdue broken hearts. Full of fire and angst.
This was a cute little book. It was a blast to read and a real page turner. Talk about history, now this couple has it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Taylor Holloway has composed such a great story for us here of second chance at romance between Cole and his best friend’s, Ward, little sister Kate. She had crushed on him but he hadn’t realised that Ward had a sister and when he found out, much as he was attracted to her he knew that Ward would not be happy with him anywhere near his sister. But when Kate goes to college she asks Cole out on a date and, to put her off, he agrees but gives her the worst date ever. She then leaves him along thinking that he doesn’t want her. But when he’s been concussed too many times in his time in the NFL, he decides to go live near here to see if he has a chance with her as she is always in his thoughts. Taylor has written this with dual POV and it is really wonderful to be able to ‘hear’ their thoughts too as it adds so much depth to the storyline. Things will come to light when their eventual relationship status changes that will make you go “Oh!” A great read and I look forward to more books by her. This book was wonderfully written with very likable and engaging characters that captivated me right from the very first page! The chemistry between Kate and Cole was so HOT that I was worried that my kindle might explode before I was finished reading this book!
An awesome book. Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong and intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

This book centers around Kate and Cole. Kate had a crush on Cole but he ended up breaking her heart when she was a freshmen in college. Cole became a professional football player until he is forced into early retirement due to 4 head injuries. He decides to move back to Austin to be near his friends but he also realizes he wants a second chance with Kate. Will Kate be able to forgive him for breaking her heart? I really enjoyed this book, it was well written and had a entertaining storyline. Kate and Cole were great characters and had amazing chemistry. If you enjoy reading second chance romance you will love this book.

These two are meant to be, but fate has other ideas. The way things went the first time was a total crap shoot, but currently, they’re better than ever…or so he thinks. I’ve hinestky shed a few tears over this one and look forward to Lucas’s future.

Cole was an idiot. A handsome, hunky, he-man of a hero, but an idiot non the less. Kate had loved him for so long and when she finally managed to snag a date with him during her freshman year in college she was thrilled. It was a life changing, epic disaster. The crazy thing is that Cole loved her just as much as she loved him. The obstacles were many. Not only was she the kid sister of his over protective best friend, Ward, but he was also graduating in a year and probably go on to play professional football.
To say he screwed up his chances to have a real relationship with her would be an understatement. Now years later, he returns to her hometown for another chance. Kate’s heart was truly broken and she still loves Cole, but doesn’t trust him anymore.
The author did a good job with the dual POVs to show their inner dialogue and their personality. I liked that Cole was a whole lot less confident inside than he acted outwardly, and he seemed to be really sensitive to Kate and her feelings even though he didn’t know how to show her. Luke was a real character who gave excellent advice. He kept telling Cole that he needed to be honest with Kate and tell her the truth of what really happened all those years ago. Cole finally mans up and tells Kate, but it took a long time for him to get there. I liked that he was willing to do anything to get her back.
Kate was smart, strong, and snarky. She did what she could to protect her heart the second time around. I liked the way this story turned out. Their chemistry and attraction was always evident, and their journey back together was satisfying and romantic.

ONE SWEET, ELECTRIFYING READ!!!
Oh my goodness. This is one exciting adventure that captivates from the beginning. You can’t help but fall in love with the main and secondary characters. Their personalities and traits that balance out and play off one another perfectly. Scene after scene played out in such descriptive and detailed way that you have no problem picturing it in your mind’s eye as each scenario comes alive with such realism it’s breathtaking. All the twists and turns along with a few bumps in the road really makes the storyline pop. Taylor did an excellent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Taylor, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
