UnaI’m running.I have more enemies than even I can fight, and a five-million-dollar price tag on my head, all because I helped Nero. The hunter has become the hunted, and now I have a life to protect—an innocent baby. And that suddenly feels like the most important mission I’ve ever had. I’ve never been so invested in surviving, so let them come. I’ll kill them all.NeroI had a plan and it was … all.
Nero
I had a plan and it was perfect.
She was my queen, my ultimate weapon. She played her part and helped bring me the power I sought above all else, but at what cost? Now she’s all I want, all I need. Una is mine. I will kill anyone who stands between us and burn the world to ash just to keep her.
A pending war. A test of survival. A partnership that would see their enemies tremble in their wake.
A ruthless king. A savage queen.
Kill me or kiss me?

Kiss Me is still a 5 star read. I honestly can’t get enough of Nero and Una, I would love another book for them.

Kiss Me was another awesome book featuring Nero and Una. I really love these two together, they are so violent and brutal but they love so fiercely. If you thought Una was crazy before now pregnant she’s like an animal running on instinct. Nero shows a side to him that was brutal in his quest to get Una back. It was a battle for them to get back together but it was an exciting ride. I would love to see a book on Anna and also Sasha.
Can love exist in a world of violence and death?
Oh my. While I wasn’t really smitten with Nero in the first book, he got me under his spell in this one because this book was even better! I absolutely loved it!
I don’t remember much of the first book than the ending and I loved that this book started were it left off in the first one because this was what hooked me to the story. I needed to know what will happen not only with Una and Nero but also the baby.
The Story:
Una is on the run but Nero is far from letting her get away that easily. He goes to great length when it comes to what he wants but would he go as far as to shoot her in order to stop her?
He soon has to find out that sometimes it just isn’t within your power to get what you want no matter the wrath you bring down on your enemies.
Thoughts:
In a world full of violence, destruction and death, the two most feared people create an innocent life. This was unexpected, foreign and brought undesired emotions to the two most ruthless people.
Una and Nero were met with something they weren’t used to; wanting something they can’t get that easily, something that’s almost impossible in their world.
A perfectly written and powerful story. The helplessness and fear in a world where such feelings most certainly kill a person. That the strongest and toughest had to deal with such foreign feelings and that it threw them into the unknown where they’re usually used to being always on top and in the known, was compelling to read.
I loved Nero’s character so much more than in the first book. I liked Una’s too but I wasn’t so happy with some of her decisions.
The ending happened kind of sudden and was a lot more ‘quiet’ than I had hoped. But I still loved this unputdownable book. It kept me on edge and I loved how Nero unraveled wrath on everyone standing in his way. I loved his brutality and ruthlessness even though I’m usually not much for stuff like that but Nero totally got me.
I liked the contrast of emotions from Nero and Una and even though I was a little surprised at what Una did one time, I think it just showed that she was the best and that she’s indeed the Kiss of Death; you can’t expect weakness or mercy from her.
One little thing… I’m not sure if the series is over even though this book had some kind of ending to it but I’m left with unanswered questions. I would have loved to know what now happens with certain characters and what the future will bring to some because like I said, some things were left open.. But damn! Rafael! I knew it!! Haha!!
~ 4.5 “Vicious Butterfly” Stars ~
First of all, I love this cover. Secondly, I love this series. If you have not read Kill Me then stop right now. You need to read that first as Kiss Me picks up where it left off and my review could possibly provide you with some spoilers. It’s no secret that I’m a dark romance whore. I’ve realized that my tastes are getting darker and darker. I love that fact that this series has helped feed my addiction. If someone where to randomly pull up my quotes from my dark reads, they might just have me committed and I’m OK with that.
How do I summarize this without giving too much away? Hmm…let me see. I think Nero can do that for me.
“Once. Just once, I’d like a normal fucking day; the odd drug deal, perhaps a revenge killing, but no. I have to deal with stalker Russians, cartels, sex slave sisters, and last but not least my pregnant, and very temperamental assassin girlfriend. Fuck!”
Yep, that settles that. Pretty much anything you could be looking for is in this series. Nero and Una keep us on the edge of our seats. Not only with them each having their own drama but with them also fighting each other. They both have an urge for blood bath and I love the fact that Nero always says he doesn’t know if Una is going to kiss him or kill him.
My favorite part of this book is watching Una turn into the woman that she was always meant to be. The woman she was destined to be before she was stripped down and reborn as the deadly assassin that we first meet. Everything she does is for love and to watch her strength and resolve during the tough times is extremely admirable.
This story is raw, gritty and down right vicious but at the same time, it’s hauntingly beautiful. You will be kept in suspense and full of drama but most importantly, you will fall in love with Nero and Una just like they did with each other. There couldn’t be two people more perfect for each other. King and Queen side by side, protecting each other with everything they have. Don’t miss out! If you like darker reads, then make sure you read this series.
