Molly Clare is living her dream. Being a guest in a gorgeous villa while she explores Rome is everything she could’ve hoped for and more. The man who owns the villa is equally charming—and entirely too tempting. At least, that’s what he appears to be. The truth of who and what he really is…well, that’s infinitely more complicated. Lord Hugh Farley is living a nightmare. Ruined by rumors of … rumors of indiscretions he didn’t commit and betrayed by his own family, his only option was to leave London. But any hope he had for a quiet Roman exile is destroyed when she arrives. Molly is everything he’s ever wanted…and nothing he can have. But keeping his mind—and hands—off her quickly proves impossible.
Can Molly and Hugh find a way to clear his name and build a future together? Or is their happily ever after nothing but a fantasy?

Another great story by Tamara Gill!! This is the 5th book in the series of League of Unweddable Gentleman, but you do not have to read the other stories in the series, but how good Tamara Gill writes, why not read them all. This is about Hugh who has left London and moved to Italy around 10 years ago because of something he was accused of in his past. Molly who decides to go on a tour to see Rome meets Hugh and they have an attraction which grows to love. When Hugh past comes up, will they be able to get past it? I really like Hugh; I like his love and commitment to Molly. I also liked Molly for Hugh, she had some trust issues with Hugh, but who wouldn’t if it is against something you have believed for the last 10 years. Their love scenes were hot and wonderful – I loved them. Keep up the great writing Tamara Gill, I can’t wait for more of your books.
I received an ARC copy of this book for my honest review.
Molly is finally living her dream. She is visiting Rome and enjoying seeing the sites. She along with a chaperone will live in a villa, owned by Hugh Armstrong (friend of the Duke of Whitstone book 1). He is away on business so she will run of the villa. Well Hugh has been called home early, due to the untimely death of his scandalous brother the Duke of St Albans. Hugh is really Hugh Farley (now the Duke). Molly meets and falls in love with Hugh Armstrong. It’s a whirlwind romance and both feel they are old enough to do as they please. They agree to get married and Molly is happy living a simple life. All changes when she comes to learn he is actually the Duke of St Albans and she thinks he is the one who ruined her beloved cousin. Many rumors, bad memories and heartache ensue and Molly runs back to London…Hot on her tail is her husband who vows to prove to her he wasn’t the one. Will it be too late.
This is my favorite book of this series. Molly and Hugh have quite the love story. You will not be disappointed!
Loved the story. Molly marries Hugh not knowing his past and when she learns about the rumors, she is devastated and leaves him. A lie that caused Hugh to be forced out of England has come back to haunt him and there is no way to prove his innocence. A great romance that has highs and lows but in the end everything works out and there is a HEA. There is a lot happening in this story which makes for a great read and worth reading. I received a free copy thru Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving this review.
Every time I read one of Tamara Gill’s books, I know it will have fantastic characters & a wonderful story that I will love & this one was no different.
Molly Clare is living her dream of coming to Rome and going to all the historical locations she has read and heard stories about. Her friends in London helped arrange the trip & her friend, the Duke of Whitstone is friends with the man who owns the Villa Maius where she will be staying for a month. The owner, Mr. Armstrong would be out of town while she was staying in Rome – so she had full use of the villa & servants. Everything is so exciting until Mr. Armstrong unexpectedly returns & he is nothing she expected – he is irresistible.
Lord Hugh Farley (Hugh Armstrong) is beyond handsome, youngest son of a duke & he has lived in Rome since he was forced from London under scandalous rumors and disowned by his family. His Mother & Father have passed and his brother is now the duke – until he was summoned back to Rome to find a letter stating his older brother was killed in an accident and Hugh was now the Duke of St. He received a missive that he was needed back in Rome and when he returns he finds a letter that his brother has died and Hugh is now the Duke of St. Albans – he will not return to London!
Hugh & Molly’s meeting, friendship, love of Rome was so much fun and Ms. Gill describes everything so well that I felt like I was sightseeing in Rome. Their mutual love of the same things blossomed quickly to a lot more. The fun they had, secrets that Hugh didn’t tell her about who is really is and ultimately, the way Molly found out the truth, was an exciting, emotional experience with a HEA. I started reading this and could not put it down – it was really an excellent book!
I was gifted the Advanced Reader Copy of this book & all opinions are my own & have been voluntarily given.

This is the fifth book in the series & it could easily be read on its own but if like me you love series then I’d recommend reading in order. This is my favourite of the series, it totally captivated me & I read it in two sittings as I found it so very hard to put down. I loved Molly but was a little disappointed that she believed her head rather than her heart. I adored Hugh & was routing for the truth to be revealed, my heart bled for him at times. A lovely romance of two people who whilst instantly attracted to each became friends whilst they fell in love only for a decade old scandal to rear its head & throw everything topsy turvy. The chemistry between the pair sizzled. A very well written engrossing read
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
Molly Clare arrives in Rome to stay at a Lord Hugh (Farley) Armstrong’s villa. Hugh told his friend the Duke he would be out of town and for Moly to enjoy her stay while he was away. He return to the villa in Rome earlier than anticipated after he receives a letter from the family solicitor. Lord Hugh hope to never see London again. He was forced to leave London when he was ruined by rumors of indiscretions he didn’t commit and betrayed by his own family who sent into exile. Jack and Molly are instantly attracted to each other and he asks to be her escort around Rome to show her the sites. They fall in love and Jack knows he needs to tell Molly of his past, but he can’t seem to do it, he’s afraid he’ll lose her. When the rumors come out Molly is deeply hurt and confused. She doesn’t know what to believe, does she really know Hugh at all? Can their new found love and trust survive the rumors? Will they find the truth behind the rumors and prove his innocence? An excellent story I voluntarily read and wrote this review.
Not everything we hear is true is as good a saying back then as it is now. Hugh has a secret and it is a whopper but he keeps it to himself. You know when you just hit it off with someone and jump right in, well that is what happened with Molly and Hugh. Except that the secret that Hugh is carrying around is hurtful to Molly even though he does not know it. Can their insta-love get past the horrible secret? I will say one thing, Molly needed to be more trusting of Hugh especially since she had come to know him and care for him. I really liked this story of Hugh and Molly.
I received a complimentary copy from the author.
As with every other book I have ever read by Tamara Gill, ‘Kiss me, Duke’ is beautifully written, and it draws you into the story from the first page. Although this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. Molly and Hugh’s story takes place initially in Rome, and then in London. They meet unexpectedly and find themselves quickly developing a friendship that smoothly segues into falling in love with each other. The location settings in Italy add to their sparkling romance, like a fine glass of Prosecco adds to a candlelit dinner.
Hugh is hiding a huge secret though, and as the story progresses you can actually feel the anxiety of knowing that at some point the truth will be revealed, and the situation is going to explode. You want him to just tell her everything. But it is easy to understand that because he is so in love, he is truly terrified of losing her if she doesn’t believe him.
Molly is smart and indepehndent woman, not a naïve and immature young girl. Yet the twists and turns of this story put her in an incredibly difficult position. She and Hugh have both been forever changed by tragedy, and for their love to survive they each need to find a path of empathy and trust. It is so beautifully written that the reader gets to experience all the emotions with them both – the need to be able to survive, the warmth of friendship, the wonderment of new love, the pain of betrayal, the quest to give and receive understanding, the quiet assuredness of trust exchanged. And the chemistry between Molly and Hugh is incendiary!
This is a romance novel; I knew there would be an HEA. Getting there, however, at times was sweet torture. I have to tell you I devoured this book like a Godiva chocolate truffle! It was so very good, and Hugh is one of the very best book boyfriends out there.
I received an ARC of this story and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I have also bought it on Amazon.
Nice fast read with a good plot line. Love that the setting in the beginning was in Rome. Molly is on the shelf and decided to see some of the world. Her good friends helped her out by having a friend of theirs loan out his villa. Receiving a emergency post from his estranged brother, the Duke man of business. He returns home early from Naples. Hugh is very attracted to his house guest, and a whirlwind romance leads to marriage. Hugh is torn about revealing secrets in his past, but Molly finds out at a ball. Molly can’t forgive or forget the past and flees back to London, where Hugh swears he will never return.
I hadn’t read the other books in the series and really didn’t matter. Only a taste of a good read….now to read the others.

My review :
When the past tears them apart, will their love be enough to mend the rift between them …
Molly and Hugh’s take is one on the sensual side, they were instantly drawn to one another and rather soon explore to sate their attraction. They have a whirling of a courting, freer than ever under the warm sky of sensuous Roma.
Molly is no simpering miss, even she is seen as a bit long on the tooth spinster, with nothing for her to attract a man. Why here, she is on the adventure of her life as this trip is her one occasion to try something outside her confort zone.
Hugh ran away from home years ago and rebuilt himself here in Italy. Determined to burry well and forever his past. But Molly reawakens dreams he forgot.
Sure, it was easy to imagine when their past will collide how it would impact their present, but for a woman in love, I would have thought Molly able to listen to the man she says to be in love with and give him however the benefice of the doubt when she instantly declares him guilty. Not once able to remember the loving man she fell in love with.
Hugh is not absolved of all responsibility, he should have trusted her with his secret, even if I doubt she would have listened to him. Yet, he is a man really in love, and what a forgiving nature he is for the woman who lights his soul when she questions his every words.
A lovely tale of healing and forgiveness as Hugh shows more mercy than the ton and his wife did to him. 4.5 stars.
I was granted an advance copy by the author, here is my true and unbiased opinion.

Now I want to go to Rome!! I so enjoyed this book, not only for the romance but also the traveling to Rome and seeing it all through Molly’s eyes. Tamara Gill writes such wonderful stories and this one is no exception. After reading it, I felt I had just been on an awesome adventure:)
Molly and Hugh’s story takes place in Rome and London. Falling in love with each other doesn’t take very long but it’s the secret that Hugh holds that will test the strength of that love. My heart ached for him so much, for what he’s had to go through and how it has affected his life. Trying to prove his innocence and needing Molly to believe in him is his first priority but not having having known him long, she doesn’t know what to believe. I loved how the story evolved and I actually wept tears of joy when they finally reached their HEA!
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Molly Clare’s trip to Rome is more than she hoped it would be. When she meets Hugh Armstrong, their attraction flames quickly. Soon they’re married and on their trip to Naples. Hugh has a terrible secret and is terrified he will lose his wife. Waiting to tell her only makes it worse when Molly finds out. Poor Hugh got a bum rap.
I wish…
Hugh had told her sooner and she was more trusting of Hugh. It took a little longer for an HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I love Tamara Gill’s books and this one did not disappoint!!
This is a story about a second son that is run out of England to Rome for a crime he didn’t commit. He has made a life for himself until Molly shows up and he realizes what he has been missing in his life. He marries Molly and are living a HEA until Molly discovers his alleged crime and leaves him and returns to England. Realizing he can’t go on without his wife he returns to England to get his wife back and to try to exonerate his name.
An enjoyable story of first love, heartbreak, love, and finally, trust. In their youth, both Molly and Hugh had been touched by the same tragedy. How they resolve their differing views of the same incident is central to their heartwarming story.
I received this novel as an ARC with the understanding I would provide an unbiased review. I did.
Kiss me duke
This was a beautiful sorry and I’m so glad to be able to provide this review. This book has it all..I laughed, cried, was angry…I spanned all the range of emotions.
The chemistry between Molly and Hugh is electric! This book held my attention from beginning to end! I could not put it down.
I highly recommend this books and this series. I was given an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Entertaining!
Very nicely written and a book I would be happy to read again at some stage.
I particularly liked the way that Molly, after her initial shock at some startling news, rallies and goes in search of the truth.
Also loved the chemistry between Molly and Hugh. It was quite remarkable.
The story is great as are the characters and this all gels together into a very readable and entertaining story.
I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) and this is my voluntary and unbiased review of it.
