Avery believes in flirting and flings, not relationships. But when she returns to Bridgewater for her sister’s Christmas-time wedding, two hot cowboys try to change her mind about the one “f” word she avoids: fiancés.Warning: Panty melting! Kiss Me Crazy is the LAST book in the wildly dirty series where one cowboy is never enough. This standalone HEA is all about her – no M/M.Not quite a reverse … M/M.
Not quite a reverse harem, but one cowboy is never enough.

“Kiss Me Crazy is the sixth in a series of books set in Bridgewater County, Montana. “The Bridgewater Way” is the sharing of two men to one woman. To care for her, love her, protect her and make her their wife. Ms. Vale also wrote a series of eight books under the same premise, called, “Bridgewater Ménage Series” set in the 1800’s (don’t quote me), on a ranch spread named, Bridgewater.
Avery is an independent, sassy, one – night – stand travel journalist. Avery’s had a crush on Jackson and Dash since high school. Avery is reintroduced to them at a Minneapolis airport on her way to Bridgewater County for her sister’s wedding. Avery comes from a dysfunctional, lack of love family, which has made her swear off forming any kind of committed relationship so she wanted a one night stand, but Jackson and Dash want her for keeps.
Dash is the surly one but both Dash and Jackson are possessive, sexy, dominant and rough. They’re looking for love and they found it in Avery. They both live in Bridgewater County and are business partners at their own veterinary practice. They’re both Bridgewater men through and through. They find their woman, they claim her and they love her.
The classics almost always work especially if it has two dominate, and sexy men chasing a feisty woman, more the better. Boys ask girl to stay and let them love her, girl wants her independence and thinks she will have the dysfunctional relationship her parents and now her sister has, so girl leaves for the airport to board an airplane to some far off country, boys run after her to keep her safe, girl never gets on plane and they meet when girl decides to return home to them. Then girl and boys can’t wait to get home so they make love in the closest hotel room.
Right off the bat, this book gives you exactly what the men want, the One. So get ready to reread some chapters, because you can’t believe they said it and do it. The book made my heart rate speed up. I found myself laughing, smiling and gushing. I wanted to get to the end and at the same time, I didn’t want the book to end. There was the right amount of sex scenes, not too much and just enough.
What a way to close out the series, if you haven’t already been hooked on the Bridgewater County stories, you should start now.
The sixth book in the Bridgewater County series but can be read as a standalone. Avery did everything she could to leave Bridgewater after high school, and only came back when she absolutely had to and fled quickly every time because of her parents constant arguing. One trip home her plane is delayed in Minneapolis where she runs into Jackson and Dash, two men she knew from high school. This is the Bridgewater series so we all know lightning struck with the men and they had to find a way to prove to her how much she meant to them, and that she’s worthy of a healthy, loving relationship like they want to give her. Avery’s Aunt Louise, Jackson’s mom Beverly, and a few other of the lovely women of Bridgewater “help” out by pushing them into situations that are hilarious from an outside point of view. The helpful interfering from the older women of Bridgewater add the touch of comedy this book needed with the serious nature of Avery’s home life with her parents.
The final book in the Bridgewater County series has finally arrived. Although I am sad for the series to end Vale made sure to end the series with a bang, pun for sure intended.
Kiss me crazy focuses on freelance photographer Avery, who believes that living from the suitcase and one stands will get her through life. She has finally come home for her baby sister’s Christmas time wedding . Oh her way home, what she though was a fling with the two men of her dreams has turned out to be the happily ever after she never knew she wanted.
Dash and Jackson always knew they were destined to be Bridgewater men. They also knew that Avery was their woman the moment they laid eyes on her at that airport on their way home, they just had to convince Avery. Even after only one night of passion between the three their hearts were connected to one another for all eternity. The hard part was convincing Avery that everyone is not like your parents and that love really can be easy.
Vale gives us a steamy and hot dominating cowboy read like none other. Although these three end up together in the end, Vale take and interesting spin on this story. The guys must chase the girl. A scream for all woman out there! I sure a heck would not be run from two sexy cowboys. Definitely a one click read if I ever saw one before.
I absolutely loved it and i would definitely recommend it.
Avery grew up with Jackson and Dash. But she left town as soon as she graduated. Avery’s childhood wasn’t happy, unlike most in Bridgewater. She doesn’t believe that happiness in the form of a relationship is in the cards for her. So she makes the most of life, traveling for her job, essentially having no home base, nothing holding her back. When she heads back home for her sister’s wedding, she runs into Jackson and Dash. They enjoy each other for a night, but then she tries to keep them at arms length.
Avery is a very confused, unhappy woman. She thinks she has the best of life, but doesn’t realize what she is missing. When she hooks up with Dash and Jackson, she can’t see a way or a reason for it to go past one night. Dash and Jackson, on the other hand, see the possibilities, and stubbornly won’t take Avery’s no for an answer. They are great guys, and treat Avery like a queen, which only confuses her more.
This is a very sweet read, the last in the Bridgewater County series. I enjoyed visiting with characters from previous books, and seeing how their lives are going. There was lots of sweet moments, laughs, and even a few tears. Like all of the Bridgewater books, it is a menage, and very HOT! Although it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone. However, immersing yourself in the series before reading makes it a richer experience!
Kiss Me Crazy was the final installment in Vanessa Vale’s Bridgewater County series. However, it can easily be read as a standalone, as each book is unique to the trio it portrays.
Avery loves having a life of travel and freedom. Flings are fun, but she never plans on settling down, especially after witnessing her parents sham of a marriage her entire life. She sees no reason to make herself miserable in a loveless match when there is a big world to explore as a successful travel journalist. When her flight is delayed and she runs into Jackson and Dash, two men she used to crush on from her hometown, she seizes the moment when they offer to share their hotel room with her, as a little fling never hurt anyone.
When Jackson and Dash are on their way back home after a conference and run into Avery, they know it’s time to claim her as “the one” who will complete their triad. There’s just one little problem . . .Avery doesn’t want to be claimed. Having only a short amount of time to convince Avery that most relationships are not like her parent’s, Jackson and Dash know they have to give it everything they’ve got to convince her to stay while she’s home for her sister’s wedding before she leaves them behind to pursue her career once again.
Kiss Me Crazy was a great ending to the Bridgewater County series. Avery is a kick butt female lead who has a successful career and knows exactly what she doesn’t want in life. She’s learned to avoid what makes her unhappy, which happens to be being home in Bridgewater around her dysfunctional family. Jackson and Dash come from a loving and involved family background, completely opposite of what Avery has experienced. They know and understand why she is a flight risk and do everything in their power to not only support her career goals, but show her what a loving relationship can be like . . . even if it is long distance.
There are some super hot and steamy scenes as well as some great comedic relief with both Avery’s aunt and Jackson’s mother scheming to get the triad together behind the scenes. I also enjoyed the soul searching done by both Avery and her guys as they try to do what’s right for themselves and each other so everyone gets their happy ever after. It’s a fun, quick read and completely unique to the rest of the books in this series. 4 stars!
Pleasent addition to the Bridgewater books.
As with the rest of her books, I enjoyed it immensely!!
The books all follow the same pattern so the reading is easy and enjoyable. Sometimes you need a breeze read with hot menage scenes to get thru the day
