WANTED: ROOMMATE. Must be tidy, polite, and absolutely not my brother’s hot as sin best friend. I have no idea why I said yes.Maybe I’d had one too many wines. Maybe I’d done it accidentally. Maybe I’d been sleep-texting.One thing I know for sure is this: I absolutely do not want Ethan Hawkins in my apartment, up in my business, taking over my space. Yet he’s here. Moving his stuff into my spare … his stuff into my spare bedroom. Sending a wave of panty-melting, musky man-scent my way every time he walks past me.
Here’s the thing.
We don’t get along—at all. We never have, and I don’t think we’re going to start now that we’re under one roof.
There’s also that little issue where I’m kinda, sorta, totally in love with him…
Uh-oh.

Ava and Ethan from the time he was carrying boxes in to her apartment that they were going to share had me laughing. Her reaction to Mr. Prickles had me laughing, she acted like he had a lion instead of what he was!
The more these two spend time together, the funnier the pranks came and once there’s outside influences on what they’re doing to annoy the other, all bets are off. Seriously this book had me laughing out loud!
The only thing was….would they tell Ava’s brother or would it be just too much for Ethan to cross that line? Will he forget in pursuing Ava over it?
Yeah!!! I loved this little trilogy. And yes, they can all be read as stand alones… but why wouldn’t you want to read them all!
Ava is in love with her brother’s best friend, Ethan. She has been for a long time, but she disguises as annoyance. She is always sniping at him, whether she is right or wrong. And Ethan takes it and gives it back because he has a little secret too…. he likes Ava.
So what happens when their worlds collide by living together??? A whole lot of snark, sexual undercurrents, longing and quirky hilarity. Definitely one click this one.
Emma Hart proves yet again why she is one of my favorite authors. I am a sucker for a good Rom-Com and Hart knocks it outta the park with the final installment of her Kiss Me series.
I am so sad to see this series end. I have loved this group of friends form the start and I have loved them more and more with each book. Ava and Ethan are my new favorite couple.
Ava has been gone for Ethan, her brother’s best friend, for years. But the two seem to butt heads over everything. Especially since Ethan is now Ava’s new roommate. I could not get enough of these two and their hilarious antics. I read this one in one sitting and loved every second of it.
I highly recommend you pick this one up, and if you haven’t read the first two in this series go ahead and grab those as well. You won’t be sorry!
Ava and Ethan by far were my favorites. They are ridiculously hilarious!! They both had hidden feelings for each other but on the outside they despised each other for no apparent reason. He was her brother’s best friend and she was the little sister. But her brother was the coolest, lol. The bickering and pranks between these two were hilarious especially since they were now roommates. The secondary characters of course were funny and that epilogue?! LOL!!!!
Ava has had a crush on her brother’s best friend Ethan for years. Ethan has feelings for her two but neither is willing to admit it.
Everything gets even more complicated when Ethan moves into Ava’s apartment. While there is a mutual attraction, they also drive each other crazy with a prank war. Their jokes do lead to some funny moments and one that moves their antagonistic relationship to something more.
The story is told in dual POV, but I wish we got to see more from Ethan. His POV is only shown every four chapters or so, and I liked getting to see his side of things and feelings for Ava.
This was a fitting wrap up to the trilogy and favorite characters from the two previous books make appearances as well.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
Overall Grade:
Emma Hart has taken my heart hostage with her Kiss Me series. First, she gave us Halley and Preston’s romance, then she released Reagan and Noah’s, and her third book, Kiss Me Again is the story of the third bestie, Ava, and Ethan, Ava’s brother Leo’s best friend. Ava has been attracted to Ethan for many years; however, it tends to be a love-hate type of attraction. Leo and Ethan have lived away from their small town, but they’ve decided to move back. Leo suggests that Ethan move in with Ava because she needs a roommate, and it seems like an easy fix. Except that these two can’t seem to stand each other. At least, that is what it seems. What we find through the course of their passive-aggressive pranks, cute little hedgehog moments, and the topsy-turvy storyline is Ava and Ethan actually like each other…A LOT. Unfortunately, there is a brother to consider, and it’s uncertain whether these two will survive being roommates.
There are three things you can guarantee about an Emma Hart rom-com:
Quirks. Her characters are quirky. They have strange pet animals, ways of viewing love and life, odd friend groups, etc. When you read her romances, you have to account for those quirks. Some readers might think it’s strange. I simply see it as an Emma Hart romantic trait, and I laugh. If quirky isn’t your thing, then you will probably struggle with a Hart romance. And Ava’s story is no different. She’s a wacko, quite frankly. She takes everything a bit too far, and she has the strangest fears (like cute little hedgehogs). She’s funny, but she’s quirky.
Everybody gets a happy ending. The strife in a Hart rom-com isn’t heavy. There may be a section of pseudo-angst that makes the reader uncomfortable, but it tends to be resolved easily. This means that much of the storyline is awkward fun. The hero and heroine fall in love in their own way, and they beat feet to the bedroom to consummate their attraction. Then, they fall in love and live happily-ever-after. In the Kiss Me series, the happy endings don’t come with marriage and babies, at least until the end of this book, Kiss Me Again. We get a bit more in the ending than we do in the first two books in the series, so, if you read the first two, then you will get more of Halley and Reagan’s stories at the end of Ava’s.
Animals. At least in this series, Emma Hart treated us to interesting pet animals. In Kiss Me Not, crazy raccoons take over the story. In fact, they show up in Kiss Me Tonight and Kiss Me Again. Boris the raccoon is alive and well in all the stories. In Kiss Me Tonight, Noah’s pet chihuahua seems innocuous until he begins eating everyone’s underwear. Then, he becomes this strange part of the story. In Kiss Me Again, Ethan, Ava’s paramour, has a pet hedgehog, Mr. Prickles. He’s cute, even though he loves to use Ava’s shoes as his personal restroom. Mr. Prickles plays a part in the crazy story-telling of this book, but he’s not out of control Boris or an underwear-stealing dog. Animal antics seem part and parcel in an Emma Hart romance.
If you love weird, funny rom-com, then you should read Kiss Me Again. There are moments when I became frustrated with Ava’s dramatics. It seemed too over the top at times, and the pacing of Ethan and Ava’s eventual bedroom antics feels rushed. I would have liked more of the romance to develop versus the love-hate antics, but this, again, is an Emma Hart romance. That tension is standard in her story-telling. For me, the ending is the best part of this story. It ends exactly as I imagined it would, and I think Emma Hart readers will be happy with Kiss Me Again’s finality.
I absolutely LOVED this book! Not gonna lie though, there were a couple of moments where I was frustrated with Ethan and Ava, but I could understand why they didn’t want to admit to their feelings. But it was never expressed if someone was off-limits, so clearly this could have all been solved if people learned to communicate lol (always easier said than done). I loved getting a chance to see Reagan, Halley, Noah and Preston again, and I got the biggest kick out the roommate war revenge antics between Ethan and Ava. I liked how the story wrapped up, the fact what was thought to have been an obstacle clearly wasn’t (again, communication’s the key to ANY relationship), and the epilogue was absolutely fantastic and hilarious all at the same time.
‘Kiss Me Again’ is the third book in the ‘Kiss Me’ series by Emma Hart, and I was lucky enough to be given a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Firstly, I absolute adore Halley, Reagan and Ava, they are the kind of gals I want as friends. They are hilarious, and their bets and wind ups have had me laughing on many occasions. So when it was time to finally read Ava’s story I couldn’t wait!
You learn from the previous two books of the series that Ava has a crush on Ethan Hawkins – brother’s best friend- so when she is forced to have him move in with her, it spells disaster.
Not only is Ethan her all time crush, but he’s also her enemy, and seemingly the feeling is mutual. In a passive aggressive game of ‘one upping’ each other, Ava and Ethan play numerous pranks on each other, in a hopeless attempt to hide their feelings. But all games end badly, and it’s not long before the two are forced to come clean and make their true feelings be known.
The book is an addictive and fun read, and I read it all in one sitting. It is fast-paced, with a good plot and you can’t help but smile and chuckle your way through it. I love Hart’s ability to write characters who you can picture so vividly in your mind, and all are very likeable and relatable.
I love how strong all three girls are, and how they all embrace who they are. Ethan is a real sweetheart, and it’s hard not to love him.
This book is just the perfect romance read, it was entertaining and full of lots of drama that books you in. Perfect for all romantic comedy lovers, and people who enjoy a good series.
Another fun read by Emma! Ava and Ethan’s story is an enemies to lovers. The banter between the two is so much fun! I loved it! My favorite book in this series!!
Kiss Me Again is the final book in the Kiss Me series, and while they can each be read on their own please read them all. You’ll thank me later!
Emma Hart treated us to raccoons, crazy old ladies & insane bets with the first two books in this series, but she saved the best for last. Now we have hedgehogs, roommate pranks & enough snark to make even the Queen’s Guard crack a smile!
What do you get when you take two people that can’t be in the same room without trying to kill each other and make them roommates? A laugh out loud masterpiece that is absolutely addicting. This is such a fun book and I was laughing from the first page until the very last word.
Ava & Ethan are absolutely hysterical together, each hiding a crush and covering it up with hatred. The banter between the two is some of the best I’ve ever read, and, unsurprisingly, had me laughing until I cried.
I’m definitely sad to see this series go, and just have to hope we get to see them again at some point!
Kiss Me Again is the third book in the Kiss Me series by the hilarious Emma Hart. It can be read as standalone but I highly recommend reading Kiss Me Not and Kiss Me Tonight since they are just as fun. Three best friends. Three new loves.
Twelve years. That’s how long Ava has loved her older brother’s best friend, Ethan. It’s been pretty much since she knew what a real crush was. And with all good crushes…she hated on him. They always fought like a married old couple. And now, he has moved into her space. It had been ten months since they were in the same room and it was like nothing had changed. She still didn’t want to love him and he pushed all her buttons.
…it was War. A passive aggressive war between two people who needed to get their shit together. Ethan was a nomad mechanic so it wouldn’t last long but it was on. Him and his pet. Ava didn’t know how long she could take it. Living with the hot AF man who she enjoyed sparring with. Ethan knew this would be torture. Eva was off-limits. He still wanted her all the same.
I thought this one was hilarious!! All three books really are. Each different in their own ways except for the laugh out loud moments. Emma kills me with their antics. All of them. The three musketeers and their men. They are just all made for each other.
Overall…I loved Ethan and Ava! Their banter is so much fun. Full of flirt, sass, and being an ass. But, for real, I did tear up too and not just from laughing. It was exactly what I needed.
Quotes:
“So, what have we learned here tonight?” Ethan asked, leaning against the doorframe.
“Don’t hide the remote from the short girl,” I shot back.
By the time it was all done and I had the sauce made, the front door opened, and Ethan walked in. He froze in the doorway. “What?” I asked, glancing at him over my shoulder.
“Nothing. It smells better than I thought.”
“Yeah, well, they do say that most people can’t smell cyanide.”
“Funny,” he drawled, dragging the word right out. “I might order in instead.”
“I didn’t know you were here or I’d put on a bra.”
“The coconut panties add a real something special to it.”
“I don’t see the problem here.”
“That’s because I’m hiding it behind this counter,” he ground out, jaw tight.
Every time I enter one of Emma Hart’s RomComs, I know I’m in for one funny and head shaking adventure, and because Kiss Me Again is the last book in the Kiss Me series, Hart gives the story and its characters an epically hilarious and steamy send-off while also allowing readers to catch up the heroes and heroines of the previous two books.
When two people are as platonically intertwined to one another as Ava and Ethan are due to the closeness of their families as well as the fact that Ava’s brother is Ethan’s best friend, a romantic entanglement is not something that either of them should want, not only because it would hurt more than just them if they ever broke up or hurt one another but also because they’ll always be in each other’s life in some capacity, which would make for some uncomfortable gatherings.
The fact that these two have some misguided idea that they don’t like each other, even though Ava has had a giant crush on Ethan adds to the humor of the story line because it’s so not hate that they feel toward one another. All of their sassy exchanges and stubborn encounters amp up the sexual tension that sizzles between them, building to the point where they’ll combust if they don’t do something about their mutual attraction and lust.
Childish antics and snarky retorts abound in Ava and Ethan’s story; these two are as stubborn as they come, which means they’ll fight to get the upper hand by whatever means necessary, which is the reason readers can’t help but laugh out loud when things go down between them.
Kiss Me Again is a great way to bring this romantic comedy series to a close, and while I’ll miss the witty exchanges and steamy scenes that were made even better due to the heroes and heroines’ magnetic personalities, I can’t wait to see what Hart has in store for her readers next.
4 Poison Apples
I really like when two people can bit each other’s heads off for no other reason than the fact it’s easier than admitting they have feelings for one another.
I could relate to so many stuff in this book; it was a real eye opener. Thankfully Ava had more luck than i did in finding HEA with Ethan (goooood i love that name) than I did. The banter between them was a times a bit too much for me but it was still entreating enough that had me laughing out loud a couple of time.
I really liked this group of girlfriends in pursuit of finding the ONE. I kinda hope this series continues with more sassy mouthed women and men who are a bit intimated by them but will stop at nothing to have them.
***4 ‘Mr. Prickles’ Stars***
O.M.G. My head hurts.
This was no holds barred “enemies” to lovers crazy ~ though I’ll admit that there were some things that I found truly inspiring and will definitely utilize if I ever have the chance, but I digress ~ but I barreled through it and even with the headache and even the eyes hurting a bit from rolling too much, I did enjoy the ride.
Ava and Ethan kinda did me in. They really did. And it wasn’t a gradual thing at all. Nope. No build up. Nothing. They went nuclear from the start and all I could do was strap in and pray because these two went, they went big. This isn’t to say I didn’t like them, because I did. Ava is comfortable in her own skin and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Ethan is, for all intents and purposes, a good man, but…
Their journey is chaotic at best and even though I did snort laugh at some things, the frustration with these two was real. And quite honestly, up until the last few chapters I wasn’t on a team. They both were basically their own worst enemies, but then that ‘thing’ happened and I found myself a little more on #TeamAva than #TeamEthan. But, in the end, they were a perfect match for each other and I am happy with how it all finally worked out.
This series was a lot of fun to read. There are a few characters I’m hoping will get their own HEA’s in the future, but overall, this one was chock full of great times with characters I love ~ Reagan and Noah are still my ultimate favs!. So if you like a good old enemies to lovers OTT romance that will have you laughing, growling and being inspired by the crazy, then this baby is for you!

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been dying to get my hands on Ava’s story. It had all of my favorite troupes packed into one hilarious story. And let me tell you, Evan and Ava do not disappoint.
Kiss Me Again follows the story of Evan and Ava. Ava was desperately in need of a roommate. She was so desperate that she said yes to allowing her arch nemesis to move in. There’s only one problem with living with the person who drives you up the wall….Ava has had the biggest crush on Evan for as long as she can remember. However, she’s never done anything about it because not only is he her brother’s best friend, but also because they fight all the time. How they thought living together would be a good idea, I’ll never know. With tension and sparks flying all over the place, Kiss Me Again is a match made in romantic comedy heaven that will give you all the feels and leave you begging for more.
Emma Hart has completely knocked it out of the park with Kiss Me Again. The characters are fun and entertaining. Their story captivates you from the very first page and leaves you hanging on every word. Evan and Ava are a hilarious match. From entertaining banter to their revenge antics, I just couldn’t get enough of these two. I mean, when they say they’re going to war, they do not mess around. But, all that fiery tension is sure to lead to some pretty intense passion. Ava and Evan kept me on my toes and left me breathless in anticipation. I couldn’t wait to see how their story would come together.
Kiss Me Again is everything I could want from an Emma Hart romantic comedy. You have crazy fun characters that are easy to relate too and leave you in stitches as you read their story. Kiss Me Again made me laugh. It made swoon. It made me fall head over heels in love. It had the perfect balance of steam, angst and humor and in the end, I just couldn’t get enough of these characters and their story.
I loved it. It’s non-stop fun.
Ava is the last girl in the Kiss series to get her happily-ever-after. And it is one hilarious journey to get there.
Roommates with her eternal crush? No problem. He has a surprising pet she cannot stand? Easy peasy. Pranks first thing in the morning? Bring it on.
I was in a permanent state of smiling and good mood and naughty expectations while reading this novel. Ava and Ethan start their living together on a very wrong, very funny note, and soon they embark on a war of childish revenge that puts their peace of mind at risk. Nothing is safe, clothes, breakfast or hormones included.
In between snarky dialogues and hot dynamics, these two roommates wage a war of domestic pranks that got me glued to the pages until the very last dot.
I adored the scenes with the extremely dangerous and cute pet, the battle around the remote control, and the lively get-togethers with the other couples and siblings from the previous novels.
The characters are afraid of their feelings, and once their bickering explodes in one hell of a kiss, they have to face ugly conversations about them. Luckily, food and love solve everything, and without missing a beat in their combative chemistry, they do get their happy ending filled with fireworks and surprises. Loved it all.
What an entertaining read! I laughed, I sighed, I giggled and just loved everything about the story, the witty banter and the snarky characters. Ava was snark personified, good grief she could turn it on quickly especially when Ethan moves in. Those two are something else. Like rivalry gone haywire, the way they went to war was hilarious….this was really a fun story that will make you laugh a lot. Unique animals, quirky characters and great friends made this so incredibly enjoyable. Highlight of my week reading this book!
If you are after a lighthearted read, this will be right up your ally. Loved it to bits.
OMG….. Ava and Ethan were absolutely hilarious with their passive-aggressive antics and witty banter. In true Emma fashion, she gave us a rom-com that had me so enamoured with the characters and story that I couldn’t put it down. Ava and Ethan had a love/hate relationship that in reality was all love but didn’t want to ruin relationships between friends and family. If you love Emma’s witty, quirky, loveable characters as much as I do then you definitely want to grab this book!
After Ethan and Ava’s story was teased in the first two books in this series, I was dying to get my hands on it. I devoured it as fast as I could with having to adult in between getting chances to sit down and read.
Both of them are snarky, determined, and unapologetic yet a little ridiculous. I enjoyed their banter and the crazy roommate war they started. The war was clever and had me giggling to myself. Their chemistry was undeniable even when they acted like they hated each other.
The epilogue of this book killed me in all the best way! It made me laugh, swoon, and left me feeling like the story, and the stories’ of the previous books, were complete.
This was another fun, quick, romantic comedy and I can’t wait to see what hilarity comes next from this author.
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
3.5 stars
Kiss Me Again is the third and final release in the Kiss Me series starring Ava, part of our best friend trio.
Like Kiss Me Tonight, this wasn’t my favorite of the series. While Ava and Ethan’s prank war was epic, I had a hard time believing in their love. I really didn’t get it – why did they love each other? They act like they hate each other except for lusty feelings. Their chemistry is totally there. The rest of what is needed for a relationship…is not.
Quick and fun, I would read again purely for the passive aggressive prank war.
