WANTED: ROOMMATE. Must be tidy, polite, and absolutely not my brother’s hot as sin best friend. I have no idea why I said yes.Maybe I’d had one too many wines. Maybe I’d done it accidentally. Maybe I’d been sleep-texting.One thing I know for sure is this: I absolutely do not want Ethan Hawkins in my apartment, up in my business, taking over my space. Yet he’s here. Moving his stuff into my spare … his stuff into my spare bedroom. Sending a wave of panty-melting, musky man-scent my way every time he walks past me.
Here’s the thing.
We don’t get along—at all. We never have, and I don’t think we’re going to start now that we’re under one roof.
There’s also that little issue where I’m kinda, sorta, totally in love with him…
Uh-oh.

When I started reading this book, I didn’t think I was going to like it as much as I did. I was laughing so much while reading this, I couldn’t put it down. Emma Hart has been on a role on this romcom books, I get so excited every time she released a new book.
Kiss me Again was about Evan and Ava, these two had me laughing so much. Ava was for me the best, I loved how she tried so hard not to feel what she felt for the the guy who she claimed hated. These two were amazing, the sexual tension and the banter was the best. I Loved these two so much, and I loved seeing them fall for each other and seeing them admit their feelings. This is another must read from Emma Hart.

Kiss Me Again is the third book in the Kiss Me series by the hilarious Emma Hart. Kiss Me Again is a brother’s best friend romance with a side of enemies to lovers. Ava has been in love with her brother’s best friend Ethan for as long as she can remember. Now he’s her new roommate and her default setting is b***h with a side of b****y. I was even surprised by her b****iness for the first 10% of the book, but she had her reasons. She has to deflect or he’ll know how she feels. What’s a little passive-aggressive pranks between new roommates who like each other? A recipe for disaster or the answer to everything? This was hilarious and entertaining! Ava is nuts! Ethan is so nice and sexy, but has a little evil side to him. I loved seeing the other characters from the series again. Their friendships are the best! Overall, I laughed, swooned and laughed some more!
Another laugh-out-loud masterpiece from Emma Hart! I adored this enemies to lovers/brother’s best friend romance with all its brilliant, snarky banter.
Another laugh out loud romcom by Emma Hart – queen of snark and sassy heroines!
Ava, the last girl in the trio of best friends, is living together with Ethan – her brother’s best friend – and her secret crush since forever!
So she does what she’s doing best: hiding behind her sass and putting up a wall.
Dang, I laughed so much while reading this book. It’s seriously very funny. I love Mr Prickles
Their banter was hilarious, and I could totally see myself sitting in a room with them and watch them going back and forth!
I kindly received an arc for an honest review
As usual it didn’t take by one page to be sucked right back into this series! I’ve also learned though, that it is not safe to read books by Emma Hart while I have a cough, because I get to laughing so hard that I can’t stop coughing which leads to problems with breathing. But Hart’s books are ones I can’t skip, because I love the characters so much! The humor and all the friendships are my favorite parts, and the steaminess is perfect as well. They are very sexy, but with just the perfect amount of what is realistic, awkward, or just normal in those very type of situations. I know that with almost every one of the author’s stories I find myself mentioning the connections I feel with the characters, but these days I think I am a lot like Ava with her crankiness and snarkiness. I probably need a guy like Ethan Hawkins (anyone else get the little connection I got there to Ethan Hawke?) to deal with someone like me. I loved that just because they finally figured out that they were attracted to each other towards the end and began to act on that, they still were most comfortable when they were arguing or just being their usual selves towards each other. That’s exactly what I need and want! Now, we’ve got all three of our girls in this group hooked up, but here’s hoping the author will also let Ava’s brother Leo have a story at some point as well!
Enemies-to-Lovers, roommates, brother’s best friend. It had some of my favorite tropes in this story. I absolutely loved it. I found myself laughing out loud and swooning through the whole story. This is another great addition to a series I have completely fall in love with. I can’t wait for more from Emma Hart.
God help her when Ava’s brother’s best friend, Evan, moves in to her place. He needs a place to stay, supposedly temporarily, and she needs a roommate to help pay the rent. Sounds ideal, right? Wrong. Because he and she don’t exactly get along. And because she kinda maybe sorta has crushed on him forever.
Wheee!! I loved this last installment of the Kiss Me series! Like the previous 2, it’s freaking funny, witty and snarky, and Ava and Evan are one deliciously passive aggressive couple! There’s the usual cast of crazies (humans and animals alike), plus Ava and Evan front and center in all their snarky, prank-filled glory. I’m gonna miss this series if this is really the last one because Emma Hart does rom-coms like no one else.
If you are looking for a fun entertaining laugh out loud read look no further than Kiss Me Again !!!!
Ava and Ethan’s story is full of witty banter and the queen of romantic comedy has done it again, this is a couple who have a love/hate relationship made even more difficult because of family and friends.
What happens when you let the man you have crushed on for many years become your roommate and to make matters worse he is your brothers best friend…… guess you need to read the book to find out.
This book has it all you will laugh out loud or should I say snort out loud, you will sigh and at times you will get angry along side Ava as she comes to terms with the man who drives her mad living under the same roof as her. Witty banter that flows so naturally as well as a story that will captivate you help make this the great read you won’t want to miss….
“You wanna know?”
“Yes. What is Ethan’s Achilles heel?”
Her throat bobbed, and she said one word in response. “You.”
Ava should have predicted she would get in trouble when her brother asked for a favor. For her inability to say no, she finds herself on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Her apartment has just been invaded by her new roommate, none other than her brother’s best friend, along with several boxes and a cage with a hedgehog, a fact that shakes her sanity and disturbs her already poor self-control. But if all this is already a big problem, the fact that she has been in love with him for years only makes matters worse.
Ethan needs a place to live. Unable to afford a rent by himself, sharing the apartment is the only solution. But the fact that Ava is the other resident will test his limits. This infuriating woman who makes his blood boil is completely forbidden to him. Too bad she’s the little sister of his best friend.
With the two sharing the same roof, a battlefield is armed, and living together becomes a real war. Willing to drive each other crazy, expect “pranks” from salt in the coffee, stolen socks, hidden marshmallows and even a hostile attack on Netflix.
Ava and Ethan will give new meaning to the term home sweet home. Her aggressive passive attitude and his denial of his feelings will cause boundaries to be crossed, attacks to be planned, until the ultimate fuse is inevitable. And it is a matter of time before the desire speaks louder.
Ava has a sharp tongue, is sarcastic and totally insane. Do not expect a damsel in distress. Ethan faces her toe to toe, and though I want to shake him at times, his sense of loyalty to his friend is what makes him a man of character.
With fun moments, a cat and mouse couple, a cute hedgehog, and a lot of confusion, Kiss me again is a great ending to the story of three crazy and eccentric friends. The other characters appear in the story, as do the famous and illustrious raccoons.
A great read.
Favorite Quotes:
It’s ironic… I have a hedgehog on my chest, and you’re still the prickliest thing in this apartment.
Angelica got started on her Danish as if it was going to grow legs and jump off the table. I guess pregnancy made people crazy.
“You took out all the marshmallows!” “Did I?” “You damn well know you did!” She shook the box of Lucky Charms at me. “What kind of f*ing savage are you?”
Every item of clothing needed pockets. Pockets were so underrated. And, as a woman, my clothes did not have enough pockets. Dresses with pockets were so delightful… When I eventually rise to power, everyone will have pockets in all clothes. That was definitely a solid use of power. Ava, 2028. Make Pockets Great Again… I know. First world problems. But first world problems are still problems, and anyone who thinks pockets aren’t a necessity has never pulled twenty dollars out of their bra. Here, have some boob sweat for your troubles, said nobody ever.
“Oh, God, she’s terrorizing the village again.” There was only one person that could be about— her grandma. Had I summoned her? “And she’s with Bethel… Those two could get in trouble in a church. Honestly, I don’t know how they’re able to make it past the doors without sweating.”
Have you met our girlfriends? Ava’s best friends? The Three Musketeers? The three women who will take the place of their elders and terrorize this town when we’re all dead and gone and there’s nobody to control them?
My Review:
This was a rather angsty and highly contentious enemies-to-lover romance featuring highly amusing and irreverent humor, clever quips, snappy banter, childish passive-aggressive pranks, hedgehogs, Doritos, stolen socks and purloined insoles. I adore Emma Hart, even if her main character of Ava was a cranky and grumpy Gus, and I frequently wanted to administer a few smacks to the back of her head. However, the cleverness of Ms. Hart’s deft wit and agile wordplay more than made up for Ava’s annoying and bratty behavior. I will be eagerly awaiting her next missive.
4.5
Ava and Ethan were such a great story. I loved the passive aggressive nature of these two roommates. Their thin line between love and hate vibe had me sucked in. I loved that there was an emotional punch to their story too. It was just laughs and giggles and really liked that I didn’t expect that. I was so enamored with these two I read Kiss Me Again crazy fast! Such a good read!
The final book in the Kiss Me series by Emma, each of the the girls have their own story and this one features Ava who has had a major crush on her brothers best friend Ethan for years, but they do not get on together, like at all, it’s like World War 3 when these two get together, which isn’t often, or wasn’t… until Ava agrees to let Ethan move in an be her new roommate!!
This was an absolutely hilarious read, I loved these two with a passion!! These two drive each other up the wall, and their passive-aggressive antics will have you howling with laughter. Both are obsessed with each other and have had crushes for an age, but neither are willing to go that step further due to the ‘bro code’ and loyalty to family, so instead hide behind banter, wit and very mischievous antics…. of course this only lasts to long before their chemistry and attraction can be denied no longer!
This was a great read, I loved the characters and could not put his down waiting to see how their relationship would play out. Highly recommended reading.
I have been waiting for Ava’s story and it did not disappoint! This is the third in the trio, and could be read as standalone, but I wouldn’t recommend doing that!
Ava has had a crush on her brother’s friend Ethan FOREVER. They avoid getting close after a covert kiss in their youth by hating one another. He needs a place to stay, she has a spare room – what could go wrong with all that sexual tension happening between them? Only EVERYTHING.
Snark, fun, hedgehogs and all the characters I love in this world. There’s also some interesting British-isms peppered throughout, just a fun quirk. I love this series!
I’m so glad we finally have Ava’s book!! I was so excited to see how it would hit her when she fell in love, and Emma didn’t disappoint! Ethan & Ava had me laughing so hard. I loved the passive-aggressive fight and Mr. Prickles was adorable!! I really enjoyed this book!!
Savage.
This book was pure sarcastic savagery!
I have loved the first two books in the ‘Kiss Me’ series to the core, but I have to admit, ‘Kiss Me Again’ by Emma Hart was by far my favorite out of the three.
I had been waiting to see how our girl Ava was going to deal with her “little” crush on the one boy she couldn’t have, and believe me, this book did not disappoint.
This book is so sarcastic you will probably snort more times than you’d like to admit, super angsty, you will feel every single scene down to your soul and even more savage than ever before! I mean, for real I had times when I couldn’t control my laughter while reading this and was sure I looked crazy to anyone paying attention.
‘Kiss Me Again’ is realistic while still being funny, emotional and savage, irrational and cute, crazy and stable all in one beautifully wrapped novel.
Not only do we fall in love with these characters, but we also get to keep up with the craziness and wildness that constitute our favorite characters in this series.
Ava is funny as h*ll, she is confident and knows her value, she’s a homebody who’d prefer staying home watching serial killer documentaries than going somewhere public to socialize. She is witty and sarcastic, quirky, she most definitely has thought of a hundred ways to kill you before you even approach her and she is *not* crazy in love with her childhood enemy and brother’s best friend. Nah-ah. Nope.
Ethan is hot as f*ck while also being swoony and dreamy, he is caring and attentive, he loves Mr. Prickles (you’ll have to read the book to find out who I’m talking about) and he is ready to go to war against Ava if that meant denying this crazy attraction going on. He is funny and has a comeback always ready, he has many tricks up his sleeve and a heart bigger than a house, even if it may not look like it.
The attraction between Ethan and Ava is off the charts from the get-go, their bantering and bickering only adds fuel to the fire, they are passionate and explosive when they meet, fiery and powerful when they argue, swoony and cute when they actually agree on something.
The scenes in this book are seriously one of the best kinds I’ve ever read. They go from funny to fiery to crazy to passionate to insane and impossible.
Every chapter will feel like the start if a new adventure, unpredictable and exhilarating, each chapter just builds a very detailed world in the reader’s mind, leading to reading the whole book in one sitting.
I have read and loved quite a few books by Emma Hart, but I can confidently say that she outdid herself with this entire series.
Quirky and unique characters with the craziest of personalities, the hardest of love stories that still feel real and a group of crazy animals with their own unique characteristics are what render this series a must-read for every rom-com lover.
All characters, main ones, sides, and even animals are well created and subjectively thought in such a good way, they won’t feel fictional, it will feel as if they were real people living in a place not far from you, with their crazy stories and powerful feelings.
If you are in need of a little pick-me-up this week, or maybe just something to make you laugh, to make you forget of real-life problems and real-life people that annoy you, then I would recommend you pick this amazing series up.
From Halley to Reagan to Ava, I assure you, your moods will be lifted, your sun will look brighter and your comeback’s storage, full to the top with new incredible ideas and unbelievable stories that can make you happier with just the flick of a page.
Ava and Ethan’s story is a great funny enemies to lovers story that had me laughing out loud at so many points. The fight and pull between these two characters is written very well although I found myself screaming at them multiple times to realize what they are doing/missing.
Another laugh out loud read and sad to these come to an end and really hoping maybe some of the characters will pop up in the future.
5 Stars
Another great read from Emma Hart. Once again you delivered a story that had me turning the pages and not wanting to put the book down.
Ava and Ethan were absolutely perfect, I loved their characters and banter and just everything about them and this book. I love nothing more than a well written book with some laughs in the mix and if that’s what you like too, then this is the book you need!
Thanks again Emma for another great read.
Kiss Me Again will have you laughing til you cry! The best part of the Kiss Me series, is the immense lack of verbal filters that the characters possess, making for a hilarious story every time. This laugh out loud romantic comedy is sure to put a smile on your face and skip in your step. A wonderful addition to the series – it can be read as a stand alone, but it’s more enjoyable if you’ve read the previous books.
What could possibly go wrong when your brother’s best friend and man that you’ve secretly loved forever has become your temporary roommate?! Lots of laughs and of course and all out crazy war!
Ava’s book is the third in this series. She’s got her way of doing things and everything has it’s place. Problem number one is Ethan’s pet hedgehog. Ava doesn’t like anything smaller than a cat or a dog and Mr. Prickles isn’t warm and fuzzy. Not too mention the little guy keeps messing with her candles which begins the battle of the roommates. They’re antics are crazy and laugh out loud funny!
Who knew Ava’s brother was actually playing cupid? Read this to find out all their crazy and funny antics and what happens when friends become roommates and hopefully more.
Emma Hart can write RomComs like nobody’s business!! She is my go to author for hilarity, witty banter and steamy dreamy moments. This is another sensational story in the Kiss Me Trilogy.
This is Ava and Ethan’s story. Ava’s story has been hinted at in the previous books and I have been dying for her story. Now getting it, it’s soooooooo good!!
Ava is in love with and has been in love with her brother’s best friend, Ethan. Ethan is BFF’s with Ava’s brother which meant he was always in Ava’s life. They each think one another can’t stand each other when it’s the farthest from the truth. There is this push/pull relationship between them. It’s a burning desire that’s about to erupt over.
The chemistry and connection between them is sensational. I loved the banter and hijinks that go on. The humor and jokes are fantastic! This enemies to lovers / brother’s best friend read is one sexy sweet read that is a great way to end this trilogy. Ava and Ethan compliment each other even with the push/pull that they have going on. Great read!!
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
