WANTED: ROOMMATE. Must be tidy, polite, and absolutely not my brother’s hot as sin best friend. I have no idea why I said yes.Maybe I’d had one too many wines. Maybe I’d done it accidentally. Maybe I’d been sleep-texting.One thing I know for sure is this: I absolutely do not want Ethan Hawkins in my apartment, up in my business, taking over my space. Yet he’s here. Moving his stuff into my spare … his stuff into my spare bedroom. Sending a wave of panty-melting, musky man-scent my way every time he walks past me.
Here’s the thing.
We don’t get along—at all. We never have, and I don’t think we’re going to start now that we’re under one roof.
There’s also that little issue where I’m kinda, sorta, totally in love with him…
Uh-oh.

Ava knows in her head that she needs a roommate, but she knows that having Ethan, her brother’s best friend, become that roommate will be hard on her heart. She has been attracted to him for as long as she can remember but knowing that nothing will come of it, she masks her true feelings with a sarcastic attitude that never fails to get a rise out of him.
Ethan has always had feelings for Ava, but he is not about to test his relationship with his best friend by getting involved with his sister. Instead he will be an equal participant in the battle of wills between them but when the sparks of antagonism between them turn to sparks of a different kind they must decide if the rewards of being together are worth the risks.
Chemistry that steams off the pages, witty banter that will have you laughing out loud and not only are Ethan and Ava great characters but the secondary characters are a hoot as well.

Ava and Ethan are secretly in love with one another. It seems everyone (aside from the 2 of them) are fully aware of this. Their friends, families, everyone.
So, what’s the best way to handle it? Move in as roommates, together, obviously.
Wait, this is not a good idea. Ava knows this and it’s solidified by the appearance of Mr. Prickles, a hedgehog…who was not one of the agreed upon roommates.
This title was funny, and I enjoyed it. Mostly. I thought, in some places, Ava was a little over the top and I was worried the pranks were going to reach the point where they were being cruel to one another. They didn’t, but I was concerned for a bit. And, this pulled me out of the story a little, not enough to keep me from enjoying it, but enough that I noticed.
Emma Hart has, I am reluctant to say a formula, but she has a definite style. And, she likes to tell stories of people who are friends, or enemies, and who probably shouldn’t be together in the first place…but, they are drawn to one another in spite of it.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.
Oh my gosh, Ava & Ethan were sooooo good!
My favorite parts of this series were centered around the quirkiness of the characters. They were all good people, funny, loyal, and a little bit unique. I laugh out loud with each story and find myself falling in love with each and every character (even Boris).
Ava allows Ethan to move in with her, temporarily of course, as he’s finding a new place. Of course, since Ethan is her brother’s best friend, they’ve always had a rocky relationship built on a (seemingly) mutual dislike of each other. This does not lessen as they spend more time with each other but rather it becomes exacerbated. Through this prank war, I totally saw how much they were into each other.
Throughout this story, I found myself rooting for these two to find a way for each other, all the while applauding their fantastic pranks! They were definitely masters of the game! What a great way to end this trilogy and what a superbly fun group of friends!
We have all been waiting for Ava’s story and it was great! Ava and Ethan and Mr. Prickles were hilarious. Poor Mr. Prickles getting corrupted!
What could go wrong when you decide to let your brother’s best friend room with you while he is in town? Oh wait, did he forget to mention his hedgehog and that he may be in town longer than expected?? This is a great plot for a laugh out loud story full of wonderful characters that make you wish you had friends like them.
I think Ava is my favorite out of all the girls. She is so smart mouthed, she doesn’t have her life fully together but at least she isn’t pretending that she does. Ethan throws her whole world upside down and she isn’t sure how to handle it. Her feelings for him only make things worse.
Ethan is a wanderer. He doesn’t like to stay in one place for too long but when his best friend Leo decided to head back home for awhile, he decided to go too. Moving in with Leo’s hot as heck sister won’t be an issue. Well, hopefully not too big of one.
Throw in friends who have no filter, a meddling brother and chaos ensues.
This is such a funny, light hearted book. I always enjoy Emma Hart’s writing and she has done it again with Ava and Ethan.
4.5 Stars
Kiss Me Again by Emma Hart is the third book in the Kiss Me series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading the others in the series as well. I know I say this with every single book Ms. Hart writes, but there is no one who does rom-coms better! I know every single time I pick up one of her books I will be laughing uncontrollably and Kiss Me Again was no different. It was hands down my favorite of the series.
Oh. My. Gosh!!! Ava and Ethan were amazing characters. The banter between them was hilarious. Ava needed a roommate so with her brothers best friend needing a place, she figured it would be a sweet deal. Trouble is, she’s had a huge crush on him forever…
I seriously loved this story so much! The writing was excellent and it flowed well. Highly recommend reading this book!
Talk about the sweetest torture…living unromantically with your brother’s best friend, the guy that you’ve been not-so-secretly in love with for most of your life. And when that under the radar love is reciprocated, but you don’t know it? Yep, I’m definitely in the Kiss Me world of author Emma Hart.
Having met and thoroughly enjoyed Ava in the first two books in the Kiss Me series, I was ready for her to get her own story. I have to admit, that, while I was looking forward to it, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Because, while Ava is sassy and self-confident, her romantic track record hasn’t been anything to write home about, and I wasn’t sure how she was going to bring her Xena the Warrior Princess attitude to the love arena.
Well, never fear, Emma’s done her usual fab job of giving Ava all of the snark and the sass, and she’s paired her perfectly with Ethan. Even though he’s dealing with the ‘we can’t be together because your brother will kill me’ thing, he just can’t quit Ava. And, truly, they are great together, despite her active dislike of Mr. Prickles (who doesn’t love a hedgehog?! I mean…) and their non-stop bickering (all an act, I tell you). And once reason kicks in along with the realization that communication is key, well, things begin to go to plan.
KISS ME AGAIN is the perfect wrap-up for this series, although I’m a little sad that I’m not going to see Ava’s brother Leo get his HEA, because he’s ripe for a taste of his own medicine, and I would so love to see that go down. If romantic comedy with strong sassy heroines and their long-suffering but undeniably sexy men are your gig, you will love these books. Funny, steamy, and likely to cause unexpected outbursts of laughter make them well worth the read, and destined to become some of your favorites. Enjoy.
I am now wondering how I can get a pet hedgehog
Emma has done brilliantly with this series, I have loved every single book and couple and Ava and Ethan were no different except I found this one more emotional mixed in with her humour.
Ava has been in love with her brothers best friend Ethan for years, she has always believed that he doesn’t like her that way so their defence mechanism is snark and fighting. When he ends up as her roommate the boundaries are starting to be pushed and they are longer able to hide their feelings. They just have to be strong enough to give it a go.
I was completely entertained with the revenge and prank tactics. I will definitely have to keep some of them in mind for when my hubby annoys me. How Emma comes up with these funny entertaining antics I have no idea.
Their connection is hot and simmers along waiting for the right spark to ignite the inferno.
Im sorry to see this series end. Well done Emma on another fantastic series.
Emma Hart’s Kiss Me Again was a fun not friends (they weren’t really enemies) to lovers romance.
Ava needs a roommate to help share expenses. Ethan needs a temporary place to stay until he decides where he is headed next. It should be no problem . . . except Ava may be a bit OCD and terrified of small animals, Ethan has a pet hedgehog named Mr. Prickles and they both have secret feelings and crushes on one another.
Now that they are roommates, in an effort to avoid the awkward, they turn to a battle of wills involving passive aggressive pranks, which is downright hilarious!!! Lucky charms with no marshmallows, missing socks and more lead to some laugh out loud moments!
But, when they kiss, they need to figure out what happens now. Do they tell Ava’s brother Leo who happens to be Ethan’s best friend and break the bro code? Do they pretend it didn’t happen? Does Ethan move out? Can either move on?
Emma Hart really excels at romantic comedy with fantastic banter, unique characters and hilarious moments and the entire Kiss Me series has really been a lot of fun to read. Ava’s irrational fear of small animals really sets the tone from the moment Ethan moves in with Mr. Prickles and every page gets better and better. I also loved that Ethan knew Ava even better than she knew herself and wasn’t willing to go the one night stand route even if she was. He knows she the type of girl you marry and I loved that about him and his character.
Kiss Me Again was all kinds of laughs and fun and a great ending to the Kiss Me series. Readers also are given an amazing glimpse into the future of all three couples in the book’s epilogue which was a real gift for fans of this series. 5 stars.
Omg this book is hilarious and entertaining. In this book we see the story of Ava and Ethan. Both having had feelings for the other and never acting on it because of the whole best friends little sister taboo. And let me just say Mr.Prickles was an awesome addition to this story. The pranks, the heat and the emotions make this such an awesome story. Would definitely recommend. I also love seeing past characters. Great story.
Brother’s best friend, enemies-to-lovers and a hedgehog – what’s not to love? I enjoyed the smooches out of this book.
Emma Hart is the Queen of RomCom and has perfect the art of making me laugh. Her writing skills are stellar and the plot connects to the previous books in the series all though this can easily be read as a standalone.
Another awesome, fun and lighthearted read. It’s a enemies-to-lovers romance and it is absolutely hilarious. I was in tears from some of the things Ava and Ethan did to each other.
This was certainly a different kind of read. This whole trilogy has been. I went into this trilogy, not sure how I would like it. I knew it would a good read but I didn’t expect to love it this much. I was eager to get on to Ava’s story. and thankfully the author didn’t leave us hanging for too long.
I adored Ethan… He reminds me of my hubby… And I think I saw myself in Ava a lot. Ava agreed to have her brother’s best friend come and be her roommate. The thing is Ava has been in love with Ethan for many years, and she isn’t exactly sure why she agreed to this… Well she does, she needs help with living expenses and she was desperate… So Ethan moves in and the chaos and craziness that goes along with that are truly the best!… Ethan isn’t the nicest to Ava, it’s the only way he can try and keep his feelings he has for his best friends, off-limits sister… But really? I think it just brought them closer and closer.. and the fact that these two are forbidden, it makes it so much more intense for these two… So once he is moved in and Ava meets Mr. Pickles (You will love Mr. Pickles 😉 ) He sure as hell knows how to stir up drama and what starts out as one situation turns into a series of pranks that these two play on each other.
The pranks and the games these two play on each other had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. There’s nothing quite like that… That bond with someone. It starts out at as enemies but damn, how fast that can change!
Will these two be able to keep their feelings in check? Or is all this passive-aggressive behavior about to blow up in their faces, or will it mean a happy ending? Will Ava’s brother keep them apart?
Gah! Loved it. Ethan was awesome. I loved everything about him, now to that Mr. Pickles!
This is a must-read.
The whole trilogy is!
5 Stars!
4 Mr. Prickles Stars!!
This is the last book in this series and I can honestly say I’m sad to see it end. This book focuses on Ava and Ethan. In the previous two books Ava’s besties have found the men of their dreams while also laughing their way through strange animal habits. Ethan is Ava’s brother’s best friend and needs a “temporary” place to stay when he comes back to town and while Ava isn’t crazy about the idea, thanks to a crush she’s had on Ethan for years, she agrees anyway and so begins the never-ending bickering and practical jokes.
I loved these two together. While they think they hate each other, their passion for each other is simmering right below the surface. One of several of the hilarious moments revolves around Mr. Prickles the hedgehog…Ava didn’t agree to a pet let alone one that’s all prickly!! But this little rodent has a way of growing on her…even if she won’t admit it!
The moment I was waiting for when they finally admitted their feelings for each other really was cute but awkward at the same time. They definitely weren’t expecting their feelings to be reciprocated that’s for sure. Their romance is a slow burn too because they don’t want to ruin friendships either theirs or his friendship with her brother.
Needless to say, I laughed my way through this book. Ms. Hart is one of my favorite rom-com authors. Her characters are people that I can totally relate to. Add in the family shenanigans, pets that aren’t supposed to be pets or have rather weird proclivities and I can’t help but want to read everything she writes!
This book had me laughing at the most random times and I loved every minute of it. This book was the perfect ending to the Kiss Me Series of stand-alone books.
Ava just had this way about her that just pushes the buttons of Ethan. She is funny and very confident in all that she says/does. She is a lover of serial killer shows which she would prefer to do than going out and peopling.
Ethan is her older brother’s best friend. Oh and he is also her biggest crush. Ethan is hot as h***. However he is also very caring and an animal lover, at least to Mr. Prickles his hedgehog.
Eva and Ethan have this banter/war going on that shows their attraction to each other. However, will they act on this attraction or will they fight it because of Leo?
Oh my stars this book just like all her others had me swooning hard for Ethan. His and Ava’s story made me laugh cry and go crazy all in one sweep. I couldn’t put the book down. This one is a top five book of mine and I can’t even begin to put into words how much I loved this book. Bother’s best friend books almost always get me!!! This is a must read!!!!
5 stars
I absolutely loved this story! Ethan and Ava are quite literally the perfect couple! Sure they fight like cats and dogs, but in my opinion, that just makes everything more interesting!
Having Ethan live with her temporarily is quite possibly the worst idea ever. She’s been in love with him for most of her life. He’s only here for a short time, she can tolerate him for that long, right?
Ethan pretty much loves to piss Ava off. It’s been his favorite pass time for years. He’s never had to live with her though. And he brought his pet hedgehog with him. How was he to know she had an aversion to small animals. She’ll come around.
One thing led to another and before I knew it an all-out roommate war was started. With tension like that, how could the string holding these two apart not break?
Emma Hart always writes my favorite books! Her stories always intertwined perfectly with the characters carrying over. We always get a taste of what’s coming. I’ve been waiting for this story for a while now. I live for these kinds of stories! The tension keeps you reading because you HAVE to know what happens!!!
Kiss Me Again by Emma Hart is the third book in her Kiss Me series. This story of two people who love to hate each other and somehow managed to get stuck as roommates is sweet and funny and the sexual tension runs strong throughout the pages. Add in a quirky little hedgehog, some antagonistic pranks and some unsympathetic best friends and you have wonderful rom-com. Well-written and fast-paced this book dives right into the drama between Ava and Ethan and gives you the front row seat to their love story. Enjoy!
So we finally get Ethan’s and Ava’s story. A big brothers best friend forbidden love, but is it really. Maybe its that I do not have older brothers just sisters, but I do have a whole lot of male cousins who had sisters and yet they were never like that with them, or me and they were like my brothers, however we wouldn’t have a story if that is what all did or felt. So Ethan has had a crush on Ava forever so he plays the playground game of yanking on her pigtails, by getting her infuriated with him. Avan doesn’t stay back she is just as bad with him and she also has been seriously crushing and they both think that they could never betray her brother like that. But would they really? Grab a copy and Enjoy! Noah and Scar still my favorite.

Kiss Me Again was absolutely hilarious! This rom-com had me laughing out loud and I didn’t put this book down all afternoon! Ava and Ethan were fantastic. Their banter was over the top and their love/hate relationship had me dying for more! I was thoroughly entertained by every character in the book and loved the entertaining storyline. This is the last book in the Kiss Me Series and I have to say it’s my favorite of the series!
Friends to lovers with lots of laughs!
Kiss Me Again by Emma Hart was a fun and charming enemies to lovers read with laugh out loud moments. But are they really enemies? Ava has wanted Ethan for a long time, but he is her brother’s friend. He likes Ava, but he can’t go there, right? And yet now they find themselves as roommates and the sparks are flying everywhere.
Ava was feisty and fun and you can’t help but like her. Ethan is caring and loyal and knows Ava should be off limits. But now they are roommates and at war (in a total fun and laugh out loud way) and you just can’t help loving watching them fall. I also loved seeing the friendship between the three friends again. They are quite a group of friends! Kiss Me Again by Emma Hart was fun, full of shenanigans and will leave you smiling.
Happy reading!
