WANTED: ROOMMATE. Must be tidy, polite, and absolutely not my brother’s hot as sin best friend. I have no idea why I said yes.Maybe I’d had one too many wines. Maybe I’d done it accidentally. Maybe I’d been sleep-texting.One thing I know for sure is this: I absolutely do not want Ethan Hawkins in my apartment, up in my business, taking over my space. Yet he’s here. Moving his stuff into my spare … his stuff into my spare bedroom. Sending a wave of panty-melting, musky man-scent my way every time he walks past me.
Here’s the thing.
We don’t get along—at all. We never have, and I don’t think we’re going to start now that we’re under one roof.
There’s also that little issue where I’m kinda, sorta, totally in love with him…
Uh-oh.

I feel like these two characters have been teased and taunted through the entire Kiss Me series, at last, here we are! Ava and Ethan were everything I had hoped for and so much more! Ethan was just a wonderful character and I can see why Ava was so hung up on him. He’s a loyal and loving friend that’s caring and sweet. He’s also super fun and keeps up with the best of them! I went back and forth with Ava. So many times I wanted to kick her in the shin and tell her to lighten up. While the banter between Ethan and Ava was pretty much my favorite, besides Mr. Pickles, of course, I feel like she came off a tad bitchy. I don’t know… it’s a fine line with the banter.
Emma Hart is at the top of her writing game. Her characters are unique and fun but they feel real. Miss Hart is one of the funniest romantic comedy authors. I really feel like Emma Hart portrays feelings so clearly in her writing. I mean, Ava came off a bit difficult and fierce in the beginning. She’s been fighting what she feels for Ethan for so long that I get it. I know when I started defending Ethan in my head that her writing just keeps getting better! You feel the heart in Hart’s words!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Ava Parker regrets agreeing to let the handsome Ethan Hawkins, who she’s crushed on forever, be her roomie. When Ava and Ethan engage in a passive-aggressive roomie war, Ava wants to win and seeks advice from Ethan’s sister Angelica. Which is how Ava finds out that Ethan is secretly attracted to her. What happens when Ava uses Ethan’s secret to her advantage?
Kiss Me Again is a funny, light-hearted and steamy story full of crazy but lovable characters
Ava has had a thing for Ethan since they were kids. As her brothers best friend it’s basically a rite of passage to crush on the guy. Nothing has ever been done about it, because she was sure the feelings weren’t reciprocated, after all, the only thing Ethan and Ava do is argue. When Ethan comes back to town and needs a place to stay, Ava agrees to let him live in her apartment. What’s the worst that could happen? Only time will tell.
I loved Ava, she is so freaking sassy and I love that about her. I also really loved Ethan, because he didn’t let Ava’s sass run him off. He gave as good as he got, and the banter between the two was off the charts hilarious. ‘Kiss Me Again’ is a fun, light-hearted, and quick read. We get to revisit the characters from the previous two books, and the three girls always put a smile on my face or make me laugh out loud. This book was a great addition to the Kiss Me series, and I love that we didn’t have to wait too long to get Ava’s story!
I have been dying for Ava’s book and it is seriously my favorite of the three. Who doesn’t love a best friends little sister romance that is full of laughs and an adorable hedgehog?
Ava needs a roommate and Ethan needs a place to stay, only problem is these two can’t stop fighting with each other and they are both harboring secret crushes on each other. The biggest problem? Ava is the little sister of Ethan’s best friend, Leo.
I loved the banter between those two. I was dying of laughter from the very beginning, especially when it came to the war. There are things that would have drove me crazy, too! The chemistry between Ava and Ethan was also fantastic. Once they finally gave into their desires it was explosive.
I loved that there was also plenty of the other couples from the previous books, when they were all together it was pure comedy and I wish I was a part of the group to just laugh and join in on the fun.
Emma Hart delivers another laugh out loud rom com with Kiss Me Again. This is a MUST READ!
Another laugh out loud hit by Emma! You will love these two characters in this story! 5 stars for this fun story!
Meet Ava, she’s in need of a roommate, and when her brother tells her that her crush Ethan is in need of a place to live, she thinks how bad can it be? Then he moves in, with a hedgehog, whom Ava thinks is going to eat her!
The conflicts these two come across, the tricks they play on each other, you will be laughing so hard, who thinks of these things?
Grab a copy of this asap, and sit back and enjoy yet another hit by Emma!!
Ava needed a roommate, but she wanted any other roommate than her brother’s best friend, Ethan. She’d been crushing on him since…forever, Unfortunately, she needed the rent money so her unrequited feelings would have to stay under lock and key, be run over, and then thrown in the deep deep ocean. Basically, she would turn up her game of hating him and keeping him at whatever distance she possibly could.
Sometimes easier said than done.
It doesn’t take long before a passive-aggressive war break out between Ava and Ethan. It’s childish, it’s brilliant, and it’s hilarious. It also brings out the feelings that Ethan has been harboring for Ava for years too.
That being said…how do you move past the biggest hurdle between them…Ava’s brother, Ethan’s best friend? Will things stay as status quo or will they ever be able to kiss again?
Kiss Me Again is the final book in the Kiss Me series. A roommate, enemies-to-lovers, brothers best friend book. The story moves right along with humor, chemistry, a cute hedgehog, and lots of passive-aggressive war maneuvering.
As a side note; it was great to have more interaction among the men in this book. As the guys from the first two books have become friends and with Ethan growing up in the area with Ava’s brother, they all hang out and gossiped about their women. That was a really fun twist and I loved it
What a fun and crazy trip. Ava can’t believe she agreed to let her brother’s best friend, Ethan, move into her apartment. She’s loved him for years and doesn’t know how she will be able to be around him all the time but she is desperate to get a roommate to help with the bills. He makes the situation even more intense by moving in Mr. Prickles, his pet hedgehog. Ava has an aversion to small animals which lends so much drama to the situation. Ethan always fights with Ava, it’s the only way he can cope with the feelings he has for her knowing she is off-limits as his best friend’s sister. Well, let the battle of wills begin as the passive aggressive pranks begin to see who will get the upper hand. These two are so busy fighting what they feel that they can’t see that the other feels the same way. Add to this that neither wants to upset Leo if they start a relationship. But can all of the bickering lead them to love? These two are intense and provided me a wonderfully fun and sexy escape. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
*4 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
I was keen on getting this book, because Ava and Ethan’s story has been alluded to throughout the whole series so far. I sped through it in one sitting, and it was quite a fun book to read although a little too bitchy at times on Ava’s side.
I liked Ethan, he seemed like a really fun character, and very loyal to his friends. I liked all the goings on between Ava and Ethan, they were quite fun and inventive and it made for a fairly light hearted read.
I also liked how we got a fair bit of the characters from the previous two books in this one as well. Its always nice to have old faves come back.
Oh, and Mr Prickle was cool!
All in all a nice and easy, and fun read. Would recommend.
