Connor Moore is off-limits.There’s absolutely no way I’m giving into his charm. After all, I’d never be able to live with the rumors it would cause. But despite myself, I’m drawn to his dark eyes, to the curve of his smile, to the wistfulness and pain in his voice when he talks about his past.Connor’s slightest touch sets my skin aflame. My lips beg for his kiss. My body hungers for his.He says no … kiss. My body hungers for his.
He says no one has to know. He says he can keep us a secret.
I’ve worked too hard to jeopardize my reputation, but I want to believe him. Can I trust no one will find out?
After all, a gentleman doesn’t kiss and tell…

An intense yet light-hearted real feel romantic read between Quinn and Connor.
When Quinn gets her first big remodel job on her own. It’s for new bar owner Conner, whose life once revolved around his band.
Now onto new things, he’s finding he is not the best at the business end.
Quinn has one chance, with a sabotaging blackmailing co-worker, and higherups who will let her fall. She needs to reform the bad boy singer right away- not fall for him.
Things have a way of not always working out as we plan.
I enjoyed the ups and downs of their frustrating relationship. How messy and ordinary it seemed.
While still carrying that spark of * wouldn’t that be excellent* in the background.
Quinn’s issues in her workplace lead the way throughout the story, while Connor tries to pick up pieces of a complicated puzzle to learn more about her.
A candid and heated walk through life, with a sprinkling of charm and heat- the first book in the Sin and Tonic Series- I am looking forward to reading the next!
I loved this book.
I have read many of Athena Wright’s books and they never disappoint. I always fall in love with the characters. Connor I fell in love with immediately from his charm to his style and how difficult he seemed to be. He wanted the bar to be like home and it’s like Quinn had to dig deep to figure that out. The chemistry between the characters was lit for sure. Quinn was hard to love though it’s like I wanted to shake her at times. lol I liked that she was a work hard gal and wanted to go far on her own terms. So I had respect for Quinn’s character in that aspect but was like Oh my god woman just be with Connor already. All and all even though Connor is an ex-musician given his circumstances (and I am a gal who loves her some rock star candy) and Quinn was difficult to love at times this book was hands down 5 stars for me. I couldn’t be happier and now I can’t wait for the next book in the Sin and Tonic series to come out.
Another massive hit for Athena Wright! Kiss and Tell is the first book in the Sin and Tonic series by Athena. Quinn works at a prestigious interior design firm and embarking on her first solo job with the firm. Quinn is tasked with designing a complicated bar remodel. Connor is a former rockstar and younger brother of the bar owner who is working closely with Quinn on the bar’s remodel. The chemistry between Quinn and Conner is like a blazing inferno. Conner makes it clear to Quinn that he wants more than a working relationship with her, but Quinn’s reputation is at stake if anyone finds out about them. Will Quinn give into her attraction to Connor? Can Connor be more than a fling? Will Quinn and Connor find their happily ever after? I loved Kiss and Tell by Athena Wright. Athena is a MUST read author for this reader. Kiss and Tell is a fantastic book with great characters that will keep the reader entertained from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend getting Kiss and Tell by Athena Wright. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
Kiss and Tell is awesome start to Athena’s new series Sin and Tonic. Connor and Quinn are very relatable characters, you can feel their conflicted emotions. A hot as hell Must Read!
I just loved this story and the characters.
Connor Moore is an ex- rock star who is now taking over his brother’s business, and one of his jobs is to renovate a bar and make a great opening.
Quinn is hired to renovate the bar and works directly with Connor.
The chemistry between them is instantaneous, but Quinn doesn’t want to risk her job by engaging with a client. While she has to handle the growing attraction for Connor, she also has to deal with the threats of Peter, a co-worker, who can end her chances of growing within the company.
While working together on the renovation, Connor and Quinn decide to give their feelings a chance, but when their involvement can end Quinn’s career, things don’t go as expected.
I loved the plot and the characters, the story is very well written. I highly recommend the reading.
I was blown away. Love the way the characters just pop off the page. This story has grabbed my attention and imagination. The excitement, intrigue is amazing. The writing is phenomenal and I just can’t wait for more.
I’ve loved all of Athena’s Rockstars and now it seems we are in for a new kind of of treat! A dive bar rehab??? What fun! Could it be we’ve been here before? Hmmm.
Quinn and Conner’s initial, burning hot encounter was a very intriguing start to this new series, had me sucked in from the 1st chapter. Smoldering, sexy Connor, as a former rock musician, a guitar player, grabbed my attention right away. There is more about him I want to explore, something raw from his past, some under lying sadness and pain? I’m officially hooked!
An undeniable attraction is brewing between go getter Quinn and laid back Connor, that’s blatantly obvious to them both. Even so, Quinn is trying to stay in her own lane- driven, striving to make a name for herself, has pushed hard to succeed on her own merit in the world of interior design in the company she works for. A cocky, sexist adversary has been making her climb a huge challenge with his veiled blackmail threats…Quinn can’t let her growing feelings for Connor get in the way because that is exactly what ‘HE’ would use against her, implying impropriety with a client, to make sure she was blacklisted from her budding career forever. BUT, can she ignore the possibility of what she and Connor could have together?
Boy oh boy, does that gorgeous Connor get under your skin with his intense, sexy ways, gentle heart and beautiful words and actions. Quinn is under his spell whether she wants to be or not..he is just…well, there are no words!
I loved watching Connor and Quinn become a team, wanting to know each other’s minds and hearts. Caring about the others goals and dreams. She is one smart cookie and I’m rooting for her!
The bar and its rehabbing was a fun place to ‘be’ as the story unfolds. I have a feeling we will be hitting Sin and Tonic (what a cool name!) for a few drinks in the future with more opportunities for entertainment, celebrity sitings and perhaps love in the making??? I sure hope so, because I’d love to have a front row seat if that’s going to happen!
This is Athena Wright doing what she does so well, I really loved this one.
An early copy was provided and happily received. This is my honest review of it.
Athena continues to rock this genre.
Flawlessly written, loveable flawed characters, a former rock star & a feisty ambitious, career minded, young but mature woman. She’s no pushover, she emulates her mother’s business ethics. Instant attraction, instant intense feelings that incorporate high regard for one another as they work & play (phew HOT!) together. Highly recommended.
I received an ARC & this is my honest & voluntary review.
3 1/2 – 4 Stars! Book one in the Sin and Tonic series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone with HEA. Being told in only the female MC POV had it feeling like too much of the book is in her head. Quinn was very standoffish for most of the book, and her backstory and job situation took up most of the story. I prefer books where there is more romance. It didn’t seem like Quinn and Connor spent much time together other than a few work meetings. I didn’t feel their chemistry, if anything I felt bad for the way Quinn treated Connor. I loved Athena Wright’s Cherry Lips series and look forward to reading more from this series even though this wasn’t my favorite.
4.5 stars for this lovely romance. Quinn and Connor are such sweet characters, particularly Connor. It is great to read a story where our hero is grumpy to start with, but whose golden heart and vulnerabilities are displayed sympathetically without him loosing his man card .
Both characters have a deep core of kindness at their centres which compliments their individual vulnerabilities to make them even more appealing. Quinn’s ambitions are well described as are her fears for her future. She and Connor make a great team, each having chinks in their respective armours, but both having an integrity which means they support each other, the don’t exploit.
A sweet, heart warming romance with lots of the ‘ah’ factor.
A sweet read and a new series. Love Connor and Quinn’s story. Love how they complete each other. Can’t wait to read about the other characters in the Sin and Tonic Series. Can be read as a stand-alone.
Great read! Connor is having to start a new career, injury has left him without the ability to play music like he had so he starting over in a new venture with the help of his brother, what he didn’t expect was the new designer. Quinn wants to be taken seriously, her career depends on her first solo job, which means Connor is definitely off limits no matter how hot he is. You get heat, sexual tension, flirting and wonderful characters (some cameos too!). Fun read about two people finding where they need to be.
I’m so excited about this new series! Quinn is driven to succeed and she’s willing to sacrifice just about anything to reach her goal. Her first solo project has her working with Connor. Connor and Quinn are both a little guarded but the draw between them is magnetic. Quinn’s wants to be with Connor and then she runs; it is frustrating to watch. I loved how she finally deals with the threats from a coworker. Sweet justice! It’s what she does to bring Connor resolution and happiness in his new life and career that really impress me. Connor’s desire for Quinn is palpable, but she keeps pushing him away. You can feel his frustration. I admired how quickly he forgave, both Quinn and others. It was lovely to see him start the new chapter in his life with the people who matter most to him.
A new exciting series by Athena Wright, Kiss and Tell is such a fantastic read, I loved it.
I instantly liked Conner and Quinn, they were complex characters and their Romance was equally sweet and sexy.
Conner is an ex Rockstar who decides to help run his brothers bar and Quinn is the lucky interior designer hired to renovate the bar.
Of course there is an immediate connection between them and a spark is ignited, but they try to fight the attraction and be professional as they are working together. I liked reading about them getting to know one another and you can see how they fall for eachother. They both have many layers, as people and what’s on the surface, isn’t always the truth of what is happening within.
This was such a captivating story and a unique twist to a Rockstar Romance which I enjoyed very much. I cannot wait to see what the next book will be, judging by this first book it’s going to be another must read series, Excellent.
I highly recommend this book.
Very sweet tale of Connor and Quinn. I love that Quinn was trying so hard to do it big for herself, she was kind of a trail blazer. Their chemistry was way out there, I felt like they had their own gravitational pull on one another and we were just bouncing around in their orbit. I was happy to see some old names and hopefully we’ll see more of these two in upcoming books. Time will tell of course but I’m rooting for Mason to get a happy ending as well.
Simple romance but very pleasant to read
I really liked this story, which on one side is simple, but has very endearing characters. It’s very well written and their feelings are transcribed impeccably so that I feel like I’m among them.
Excellent!
Quinn is a young decorator who has to redo a bar with secret bar hidden in which meet known musicians and a new owner, Connor that takes over with his brother, but he seems difficult to satisfy. In fact, they had met a few days earlier and started to flirt. Quinn is now his employee but she must learn to know him while preventing him from trying anything for her career is not undermined, knowing that one of her colleagues is already blackmailing her about her reputation with false accusations.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Good romance. We just receive glimpses into the rock and roll world of previous novels by Ms. Wright. There were appearances of a couple of characters from Ms. Wright’s rock and roll series. Within the story two issues were also brought to the reader’s attention. I was aware of both issues but with the first issue, but not within the arena cited, nor the potential totally negative outcome. The second issue, greed, avarice and manipulation for personal gain. I am aware of these issues but once more, it was in the context of how these issues occurred that was new to me.
Good writing as usual per Ms. Wright.
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
Quinn & Connor will renovate & redesign their way into your heart
Quinn wants to succeed at her job. She’s young, and driven. And at the mercy of a lying, sleazy leech at work. She’s given her first big independent project and this brings Connor into her orbit. Her ability to resist his deliciousness is tried. They are instantly drawn to each other. She helps guide him in his new path and find a purpose. He helps her find her footing between work and personal. I love the introduction to the Sin & Tonic world!! We get to visit Walt and Jessie and Gael and we get new people and a world to explore. I cannot wait for more!! Steamy, tender, sweet, fantabulous, with that dash of drama and those questions the players need to find the answers to explored and answered. Floved!!! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I loved Kiss and Tell and what a great way to start a new series. This isn’t your typical friends to lovers romance, or high school sweethearts reunion or even your typical rock star romance, although Connor was once in a band.
This story is very well written with topics that are very much a part of what’s happening in our day and age. The book is sweet, funny, with just enough drama and the right amount of steam that will keep you turning the pages. Yes Quinn and Connor’s chemistry is electric. I loved Quinn he is sweet, kind, caring and has a big heart. I love Quinn and the fact that she is strong and determined to make her presence known in her company where it is dominated by a co-worker who is blackmailing her.
I liked the way Athena brought Gael and Jessie back from her previous stories and I can’t wait to she who she writes about next?
I received an ARC copy of Kiss and Tell and I am leaving my honest review and I’m honored to have been selected to be a part of this team.
4.5 swoonworthy stars! Such a great start to a new series! This is a sweet, steamy, light read. There is an instant attraction between Connor and Quinn right from the start. While working together Quinn fights to keep things professional but you can only fight your feelings for so long. Connor and his sweet hotness has him on my book boyfriend list. I can’t wait for more from this series!
