What I liked about it: the idea of it’s-worth-stopping-and-see-where-do-I-go. Every now and then we have to reconsider and change if necessary.
With just the right amount of stress, humor and romance, this was an enjoyable read. It followed a stressed lawyer on a quest to fulfill an achievement list he wrote when he was 12. He finds a homely dog, a beautiful doctor and a nosey small town. Nancy Warren gave me a fun ride.
Excellent story and loved it.
Could not stop reading this book once I had started. Endearing characters, fast paced, romantic. Loved it!
I enjoyed listening to the audio version of this book. I had previously read the book in 2016. It is free on Kindle if you are interested in reading it for yourself.
There is an entire series of books and you may just get hooked on them like I did. Evan goes on a road trip to check a few items off from his bucket list but thanks to a homeless …
Evan a workaholic decides to take a motorcycle ride cross country but gets held up in Oregon. Meeting a beautiful woman helped distract him from being on the road. This audio was easy to listen to. This is one of the few romance books that i like. Nancy Warren is a fantastic writer and you see in every one of her books.
For anyone who loves …
Cute but way too many kids. You had to pick 11 as your number. Why not 12 or 18. If you are going to go crazy go full on crazy. It was a basic book. Nothing realistic except the rose tree and couples massage. But there is jargon that lawyers and doctors use–just like any job. If I told you I use a dial test gage to ensure a part is in spec you …
A thoroughly entertaining novel about a man making a drastic change with his life. Easy read. Page turner. Sex implied. No foul language. Strong characters. Happily ever after.
Evan is following a list he made at 12. He has been working as a high power lawyer but needs make sure this is the life he really wants. After a bike accident he meets Caitlyn. They know that he his there for a few days but can’t stop seeing each other. Great story
I absolutely love this story! Original story line, original characters. I just enjoyed every bit of it!
Thank you for the pleasure you’ve given me!
Can a list created by a twelve year old boy be fulfilled as a man? Great characters tell this well written story of small town Oregon. Very enjoyable reading.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Loved story
This is the first time I’ve read this author and must say it was delightful. I felt connected to the characters and the scene of the small town. It seemed that for Evan fate was leading him and Caitlyn. I highly recommend and now I’m curious about the next book in this series. Kudos, to the author, job well done!
I enjoyed reading this book. It was a sweet story and all-around pleasant read.
Kiss a Girl in the Rain is book #1 in Nancy Warren’s delicious Take A Chance series. Evan Chance is 35, and a very successful corporate attorney. His mentor dies suddenly of a heart attack, and Evan’s world is thrown off axis. Evan decides to center his life on the things, people and activities, that he values… not the material possessions that …
