Finally meet the enigma that is King. Our love wasn’t like everyone else’s. There wasn’t a first date or flowers and gifts. We didn’t have a song or cute nicknames for each other. There were no calls during the day to check in with me, no coming home to cook me dinner, and no foot massages at the end of a long day. That wasn’t how he loved. But love me he did. Madly, deeply, passionately, … loved.
But love me he did.
Madly, deeply, passionately, completely.
King loved with everything he had.
He just loved a little differently to most.
This is King’s story. From the beginning. All the ugly and all the beautiful, by the end of this duet you will come to understand the man behind the club.
King’s story will be told over two books – King’s Wrath & King’s Reign.

5 INCREDIBLE STARS!!! Nina Levine does it again. These alpha, bad boy men of Storm MC are incredible and King is no exception. This is the beginning of King’s story. He’s such a dark, intense character with a past no one should have had to endure. King may be full of anger but when he loves, he loves hard. When he meets Lily, his sister’s physio, he can’t stop thinking about her. There’s an attraction that can’t be denied, no matter how hard King tries. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and violatel. King’s Wrath is such a great addition to the Storm MC series. Nina keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout and leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to read the conclusion of King’s story.
I am so in love with King. Picture a love sick cartoon character with hearts for eyeballs and that’s pretty much what I looked like reading Kings book. Like many of us I’ve been waiting very impatiently for Kings story and I can honestly say the wait was well worth it. I’m not going into the story at all because there’s so much going on that I wouldn’t even know where to start. This book is packed full of tension and threats. With the MC in danger, Kings got so many balls up in the air even I’m starting to wonder if he’s ever going to be able to make his club safe. Not only is he dealing with the threat to his club but he’s also got his family to keep safe and when a face from his past turns up, it brings even more danger to the club. I adore King. I don’t have the words to express how much. He’s the strong, protective alpha that will trample anyone that dares stand in his way or who threatens his family but we see another softer side to King in this book. Finally finding out about his past I couldn’t help but feel for young King and the man he is today.
I struggled to put this book down. I slowed down the closer I got to the end solely because I wasn’t ready for it to finish. Oh and that ending!!! It’s left me desperate for more. If you’ve read the other books in this series then you need to read Kings story. This is without a doubt my favourite Nina Levine book and my favourite biker of hers. I can’t wait for more from King.
Oh my god this book gave me so many emotions….
I know from previous books that King had one hell of a story to tell but ooh god my heart just reached out to him *don’t tell him I said that*.
King is the President of Storm. He has had one crapfest of a ride his entire life. Two females of which both had him twisted, and both he lost.
Ivy his love since a young age, toxic, dark.
Jen he never loved her enough and she is now gone….
Emotion overload is what this story is… Revenge, Loss, Loyalty, Betrayal, Denial, and OMG the hotness…. FanFreakingTastic book !!!!!!
“Love and hate and hurt all piled up on top of each other.”
Saying that I’ve been dying to get my hands on King’s Wrath is an understatement, and now that I have, I’m dying to get my hands on King’s Reign even more. I knew going in that it was a two-part story and that I wouldn’t get all my answers until the end. But he’s like a bet to a gambler… irresistible.
I wish I could tell you about #KingsQueen but it’s not in the cards. You’ll have to wait until the author has played her hand. She’s a sneaky dealer who’s keeping an ace in the hole. I suggest you go into the story with the intention of getting to know King. His painful past is a story that will break your heart and open your mind to his way of thinking. Even if you might not agree with some of his decisions, you’ll understand where they come from. Some things can’t be unseen, forgotten or forgiven. While I agree that, “if you’re the kind of man who can admit his mistakes, you’re the kind of man who can be forgiven”, that doesn’t mean that he’s willing to forgive himself.
I can tell you that the darkness in King is intense and that he doesn’t feel like he deserves any light. I want that for him though, a queen who brightens his life. The wrath of King is something to behold, but it’s the love of King that I’m holding out for. The line forms here…
Wow! This was an intense & thrilling rollercoaster of a ride to go on. I loved how Nina Levine took King’s story back to his past, and got to grasp the reasons behind the things he would do. There was so much going on in this story, it certainly kept me on my toes. I loved every moment of it. This book was gritty, violent, overwhelming at times but overall so good I couldn’t put it down. Ms. Levine’s writing pulls you in from the beginning, takes ahold of your emotions, and keeps you invested till the end. Cannot wait for the conclusion to King’s journey.
Nina’s Storm men are amazing and Kings craziness is awesome. He is twisted but loves hard.
Holy freaking fudgesticks!! I am lost for words at the moment!! King is the President of the Sydney Storm MC. Loyalty is key and he will die before he lets anyone mess with him and his family.
This one is gut wrenching. We find out what happened in his formative years and that, quite frankly was enough to bring me to tears.
There is so much going on in this one, I had whiplash! Old faces appear and not all for the good, someone is out to cause King as much pain as possible by f***ing with his family. He is going to let all his demons out to play!
And just when I thought I knew how this was going……Lily!! I thought for a moment that I was reading a different book for a chapter or two! Literally this book blew me away!!
what can I say? There needs to be more than 5 stars! I love King! Love Nina!
Well the wait is over. King’s story is here and it is without a doubt, Nina Levine’s best work yet! She did not disappoint with this story of a man who defied his horrific start in life and became his Club’s revered President. As we get all of Zachary King’s past, from his time with his demented father to the present, it becomes very clear why he is both the feared and respected man he is today. Nothing is glossed over and every raw and gritty detail is described perfectly, as each turn of the page had me begging for more.
I couldn’t get enough of this man. Nor could the women who wound up in his path, whether on purpose or by a wild twist of fate. I loved that the author finally revealed the long-held answers with respect to King’s beloved Ivy, last scene in Hyde’s Absolution, with one whopping surprise for her former lover. We get ALL the painful details of their former life together as we step back in time and see both King and Ivy’s lives unravel. Despite what transpired between them in the past, I’m still left wondering if they might still have a future together.
The author is very clever in giving this love-starved man a new interest. A woman who is one of those who find our King quite unintentionally and yet a connection is felt almost immediately. Each just wanting what the physical can deliver, ends are left unsure and I do wonder what might transpire next.
I think overall, I’m incredibly in awe of King. It’s no wonder he suffers from tension headaches and can’t sleep. He literally has the world on his shoulders, putting out fires non-stop in order to keep his club intact and his brothers and their families safe. It was hard to keep up with him, the authors rapid-fire confrontations making me feel like one of his men, chasing him down just to see what was happening next. But Nina Levine writes it all beautifully and every scene is meticulously crafted.
With an inordinate amount of information to be absorbed in this first book of King’s duet, I am more than anxious to see what will occur in King’s Reign. Zachary King is a man, forever tormenting himself with both his birth family’s actions and his decisions regarding matters of his heart. But he is worthy of love and of acceptance. He is loyal to a fault and takes care of his own. He needs someone who will take on his kind of controlled anguish and replace it with a tenderness he so sorely needs.
King’s Wrath is one extraordinary ride. It’s so much more than just the usual MC book. It’s the very heart and soul of a man we were desperate to know more about. And now that we have, we’ll be forever grateful.
I highly recommend King’s Wrath and give it a HUGE 5+ stars!!
A title so fitting!! This is one of those books you can’t put down and you don’t want it to end. King– a complex man with a fitting description of a true alpha male-intense, passionate, loves deep. He’s hardcore and a badass. He will send cold chills down your spine while speeding up your heart at the same time. You get a look inside his head, see his human side, his inner conflicts, see the man beyond all the violence and tough exterior he possesses to be man in charge. Though it ends with a cliffhanger I have a feeling King’s Reign will be well worth the wait. Definitely one of my favorite reads. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
We are introduced to bad ass King. He’s a complicated dude and so intense. I liked his vibe, straight up guy, protective of those he loves.
Trouble is brewing in the club and he’s at a loss to how to get it under control. He’s a great brother, son, and club member, the relationship he sucks at is boyfriend/lover.
Like I said he’s complicated. Looking forward to the next installment and the woman who will fight to be by his side
5 Stars from Sammy’s Book Obsession!
Wow! I almost have no words. Almost. I’m just having issues articulating them at the moment, is more like it. I’m currently stuck in a King fog after just finishing the book and I’m not sure exactly what to do with my life now! Lol 🙂 It doesn’t get any better than King’s book as far as running the gamut of one’s emotions goes! I felt EVERYTHING right along with him and all the others in this book! I was completely consumed by the story the whole way through. Now that I’m done, I’m left wanting more. So much more. King’s Reign can’t get on my Kindle soon enough!
Everything about King’s Wrath is top notch. The writing, the emotional roller coaster, the relationships, the characters themselves…just every single aspect is beyond what could’ve even been expected! I’ve come to expect great writing, grammar, character development, and just all things awesome from Nina Levine, but she went above and beyond here! I’m can’t wait to see how the next book blows me away too!
King is a mystery and now you get to find out his past. His story is heartbreaking and inspiring. King and Lilly have a turbulent relationship. Start with the first book in the series Relent to understand the events taking place. I love this series.
I don’t think I can speak or say anything or I can’t even type properly…lol
No Freaking Words Nina Levine. King is just freaking AMAZING! I want him for myself, just to hold him. While reading this book, I went from screaming, swearing and crying and so much more.
I can see why King had to have 2 books. You had to go in the past to see why he is the way he is. In this book we learn about his childhood, his relationship with Ivy and his family. We learn about the club and why things are the way they are.
I’m so glad that I only read this book now, so that I have no time to wait to dive into the next chapter. All I can say is that I am freaking ready for the next chapter. For those that have come from Book 1 and haven’t done this, all I can say is BE READY to be BLOWN AWAY!!!
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THIS BOOK AIN’T FOR THE FAINT HEARTED.
King’s book has been my long time waiting and fuck I don’t want it to be over kinda book.
I fell inlove with this damaged hero ever since I met him and getting to know him, getting into his head…. Boy was that a Mindfuck, King is really everything you want but know you shouldn’t have….
Ladies this man is unlike any Tortured Soil you have met. Sometimes you wanna wash your eyes from reading his thoughts and other times you wanna hug on him and love him unconditionally.
This book gives you the the perfect intro into King and why he is the way he is.
That Cliffhanger made me wanna throw my Kindle.
No Lies though this book is phenomenal.
I can’t wait for the next book.
Enjoy!!!!!
I love King! Can’t wait to read the next one.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
King’s Wrath is the fifth book in the Sydney Storm MC Series from Nina Levine. This is also a duet with the second book coming soon and you do not have to have read the other books in this series to read King’s Wrath.
Madly, deeply, passionately, completely. Kind loved with everything he had. He just loved a little differently to most.
King is the President of the Sydney Storm MC. He also had this horrible mother and father. Sheesh I have seen some bad parents in books but his probably take the cake. So to say this messed up King to a certain degree is a understatement. King also knew he was a violent man but once it is unleashed he has found something that finally makes him feel relief to a certain extent. However he does know how to love he just goes about it in possessive I am going to do everything in my power to keep you safe weather you like my methods or not kind of way. He is devoted to those he loves and to his club and you should never question any of that. I just want to say that your not going to see a sweet good man who your going to fall in love with but you do see a man doing the best he can with his MC being threatened to be wiped off the face of the earth. A family and club members he is determined to keep save and then there is Ivy. You can find out about her by yourself as I don’t want to give everything away. I will say that while he isn’t a character your going to immediately fall for he is one that you want to offer all the comfort to in the world that you can and good gosh I swear I could feel the mans stress bleeding off the pages. I can not wait to get King’s Rein in my hands to find out how everything comes out for King in the end.
I want to preface this review by stating that this is my opinion and only MY opinion. I know I am going to be an outlier here. I am rating this book at 3.75 stars.
I LOVE King in all the other Sydney Storm books, he is the character that I have been drawn to the most and I have waited with bated breath for his story. Well, now I have read part one and I must say I am dissapointed. Let me explain…
The writing of this story I great, the story flows well and I didn’t want to put it down. I think this author really understands how to draw a reader into her stories and how to place them in the action. I love reading about the club and their lives.
Having said that, I was hoping for a different story for King. I know this is only part one of a duet and I am hoping that King’s Reign will make up for everything I felt this story lacked.
This story seems too filled with drama unrelated to King and his woman’s story. This entire book could have been cut and I would have been okay with it. Yes, we get to know King better, but he comes across too soft, too… I don’t know… normal? I am not feeling ANY of the connection to him in this story. I understand him better now, I can look back at his appearances in the other books and better understand his motivations; but I think in allowing me into that part of his life and mind I lost a bit of desire and love for him. I loved him because his was gruff, mean, broken, and dark. Personally, I learned too much and now he is lighter in my mind, sort of killing his uniqueness for me. I personally NEED him to be dark and mysterious. I NEED him to be abnormal.
In this story, I don’t seem to care about his background because it doesn’t work for me, I can’t explain without ending up spoilers. I am going to need a lot more gruffness, and darkness in book two to make King’s story a favorite for me. I will say I am forever greatful to the author for her choice of woman for King. I had a pretty strong opinion on who I did not want for him and was pleased with the outcome. I am off to read book two and hope I can get some kind of connection or emotions to develop for this duet.
This is a great book, and I highly recommend it to readers who have loved the rest of the series, unfortunately for me, it I just did not connect with it.
This just might be Nina Levine’s best work yet! I was fully immersed in the story right from the start with no effort. It was a smooth, well planned plot and I love how she tells King’s story. His is a tough story and i thought it was very beneficial to get some history in the beginning. It helped me to truly know who King is and why and I was surprised at how emotional it actually was. The words “King” and “emotional don’t seem as though they go together at all but they really do.
We continued the storyline of the series and this one took a couple twists that I truly wasn’t expecting but really liked! This whole series has been building up to King’s story and a resolution to club problems, which seemed to set expectations pretty high for King’s book. I think the author has done a great job of doing King justice and I’m anxious to see how his story unfolds in Kings Reign!
Phenomenal
Wow talk about the feels with this book ,damn Nina you dont pull any punches do you . ?
I devoured King i couldnt put this book down it had me hooked from the first few pages .
King ! One minute you want to hug him the next you want to kick his balls in there is no in between that man can try the patience of a saint and still come out smelling like a rose .
He may be arrogant, bossy , stubborn, rude, mean and a bully but … he has the heart the size of Texas the love he has for his family both club and foster is something that you rarely see in a man who was beaten and abused by his own blood. His father and mother were evil creatures and set king on a path that would lead him to be the ruthless man he is today . However the love of his foster mum and siblings tore down some of his defenses and thawed his ice cold heart.
I love how the good people impacted his life and how he loved and protected them and still do. But life has a way of kicking ya where it hurts and sometimes you have to just deal with the cards you’ve been dealt.
Ivy suffered at the hands of her family also and in turn built up walls after walls after walls and as much as king tried to bring those walls down there toxic relationship couldnt with stand the love that they had for one another enter outside influences into that fraction and it was destined to end horribly. But now ivy is back king is God in his house of biker’s and there is a rat amungst the pigeons. Ivy has information that can help king but at what cost ? The devil wants to dethrone the King at any cost including hurt the ones king loves wich then leads king to Lilly will old habits die hard or will the king finally have his queen ? Cant wait to find out ..
Once again Nina Levine brings her A game to the table and we as her reader’s thank $&#&# because she is one talented writer who makes you feel emotions while reading a storm book that can make you want to jump through the pages and bitch slap a hoe or knee a biker in his balls . Then cry when they finally find there softer side and wrap those big ass tattooed arms around there woman and never let her go. Its like watching a train wreck sometimes with these biker’s you know you shouldnt look but you just can’t help ya self you gotta know how it ends . And i for one will be sad to see this series end i believe its one of the best MC series out there today
