Hold on tight for a ride down memory lane in this Savage Kings MC prequel!Chase Fury reminisces with his new cellmate Abe Cross about his days prospecting for the MC, in an attempt to entice him to join the Kings. You’ll find out more about Deacon Fury, the founding member of the Savage Kings, and then go back to the very beginning, when Chase meets the love of his life.
Chase meets Sasha in school. Then we get the story of the club. This is the first book of the series and it is fantastic. Chase goes to prison for assault. There he meets Abe, who he talks to about the club. Chase does not talk about Sasha to anyone, because it hurts too much to remember what happened. Sorry I can’t tell you more but that would be a spoiler.

So this is just an appetiser to the main course. A series about a motorcycle gang. It also introduces us to a few members….
Chase has business with the man who took away the only woman he loved! A motor accident leaves Sasha gone and a heartbroken Chase.
So biding his time until the scumbag gets out of prison Chase tries to live his life.
But revenge has always been uppermost in his mind, handing his “cut” to his “pres” he’s off to get answers and a little revenge.
All he wanted was answers, but when the lowlife said he had no remorse and was glad it was only a biker and his junkie girlfriend, Chase lost it! Sasha was never a junkie, and she’d left his life, so he was without her! So the idiot got a beating!!
In prison serving time for the beat down he gave to the guy, Chase meets Abe.
We then have a trip down memory Lane…..
Short, and concise, it could have been added as a prologue to Chase’s actual book, but it’s great to meet up with a few characters.
It’s only wetted my appetite for more……
King’s Road
An interesting look into the back story of some of the Savage Kings
Sasha follows Chase on King’s Road. This is another excellent steamy romance by an excellent romance duo! This is how it all began. I honestly love this story and this series!
Kings’s Road is the prequel to the Savage Kings MC series. I had read Chase first and this story takes place 6 years earlier but also looks back to where his and Sasha’s story began in 2008 during their senior year of high school. Chase met Abe in prison in 2012. They find an easy friendship and wants Abe to join the Kings when he is released from prison. Chase tells him how he joined his uncle’s MC but also thinks back to the happy time that he had with Sasha before everything ended between them. I enjoyed this look back and it answered some of the questions that I wondered about. If you can start the series here, I recommend doing so. It’s a good novella and it will make you want to read what happens to the MC members.
I have enjoyed this whole series, a lot. I loved this one first page to the last. Very enjoyable. For me it’s a must by whenever I see theses authors. I think I can’t enjoy enjoy their books an more bad boom, I love the one I am reading.

In the early days of the Savage Kings MC, Chase tells the story of how he came to be prospecting for the Kings at 18. Although the story is Chase and Sasha’s, we see a bit of the relationship with his Uncle Deacon, as well as the first meeting between Chase and Abe. It’s a great novella with glimpses of the past and what to expect when you join the Savage Kings MC. Great backstory in the Savage Kings MC history, I received a copy from Booksprout, with a review that is voluntary on my part. 4.25 Stars!
Loved getting the backstory behind Chase and Sasha. I adored Chase’s book, so getting to know what happened between him and Sasha was icing on the cake. Not only did we get what transpired between them, we get to see the beginning of his journey with the Savage Kings MC, and the meeting between him and Abe. I am enthralled by these MC guys. This was an excellent read.
King’s Road is a prequel to the Savage Kings series that I just love. So in this story we have Chase in prison, he’s on memory road-how he became a prospect for the MC and his love for Sasha. We meet Abe who is Chase new cellmate and how he is introduced to the Savage Kings. This is a really good read, giving you more insight to who Chase is.
This was a long awaited story! I loved reading about Chase when he had his own book but it only gave us a glimpse into how he met and lost the love of his life and her we get to see their beginning. I also found it very fascinating to see how Abe came to be a Savage King and was surprised at how Chase and Abe came to meet. This pair of authors have been n my TBR list from the first book of theirs I read and I eagerly await each new release. Make a note to read any and every book they publish!
I have really enjoyed reading these MC books and King’s Road by Lane Hart and DB West was no exception.
Chase and Sasha were such a great couple to read about. You can really just tell that they are destined to be together, but their journey to a HEA is NOT an easy one in the least. It broke my heart to read about how much Chase had been through, even at such an early age. I was so drawn to him and just wanted things to work out.
The chemistry between both characters was also OFF THE CHARTS HOT. Whew. These two couldn’t get enough of each other.
Definitely recommend this book. It was a great introduction to the Savage Kings. You will thoroughly enjoy this one!
It was so awesome to get a look into what happened in the time between the motorcycle wreck and the beginning of Chase. Getting to know how Chase and Abe became friends gives you such a better idea of how they come to have each others back no matter what! If you have been enjoying the Savage Kings MC series you absolutely NEED to read this prequel! 5 stars- no doubt!
This is a prequel to the Savage Kings MC series, giving us the story of Chase’s background and his early days with the MC. It sheds some light on how Chase and Abe met, how Chase and Sasha met, and the development of their relationship. Sweet yet bittersweet, this gave me a new look at Chase the younger man.
I loved getting the back story on Chase, Abe and Sasha. It helps to really see what they went thru to get to where they are now. Love these group of guys who are family.
This is a short prequel to the Savage Kings MC series. You get the back story of how Chase and Sasha met and got together. It also shows how the relationship between Chase and Abe came to be and the circumstances. A quick read to help first time readers catch up on the series.

This prequel to the Savage Kings MC series is a must read. It tells the story of Chase from the day he meets Sasha, which is also the same day he becomes a prospect in the Savage Kings. It’s really the back story for a lot of what happen in Chase, the first book in the series.
If you love the Savage Kings then you’ll love Kings Road – I especially loved the abundance of Reece in this book!
