The epic conclusion to King’s story.I was chasing pure darkness.Succumbing to the needs I’d forced to the far edges of my soul.Running like a madman towards evil. Then I found her.She breathed life into me when I hadn’t thought there was any life beyond what I knew. She gave me hope after I’d forgotten what it was.She helped quiet the demons raging deep inside me.Now I will lay myself bare for her.… demons raging deep inside me.
Now I will lay myself bare for her.
I will bleed for her.
I will love her madly, deeply, passionately, completely.
This is the conclusion to King’s story. All the ugly and all the beautiful, by the end of this duet you will come to understand the man behind the club.
King’s story is told over two books – King’s Wrath & King’s Reign.

If you’re a fan of Nina Levine’s Storm series, then this book is an absolute must read. Everything in this series leads to this point and this man – King. He’s not soft, he’s not forgiving. He is bossy, arrogant, and hella moody. He’s got demons inside you’d run from. He is however, loyal and protective to those in his circle. He will fight with everything in him to protect what is his, no matter what that takes. No matter what lines that crosses. No apologies given.
If you like good, realistic, dark and gritty MC, then this is for you. If you like your heros more anti-hero with a filthy mouth and alpha down to his core, again this book is definitely for you.
And the King is back giving us a fantastic conclusion to his story with the perfect queen at his side. We pick this story straight back up from King’s Wrath, which does need to be read first. King has left Lily to keep her safe and protected but that is proving harder than he thought. When the sassy, fiery woman keeps invading his thoughts and fighting the protection he’s put on her. It doesn’t take him long to realise that they are inevitable and he can no longer fight it she belongs to him and he belongs to her.
I loved that it didn’t drag out for them because they were so much more stronger together than apart.
The MC is everything to King when it comes to the MC, his brothers and their family’s he’s brutal and unforgiving. In previous books thats the side we mainly got. So to have the whole side to King was wonderful, he had such a huge heart for those he loves and cares about.
With enemies coming in all directions, King is trying to balance everything. Can he keep the MC strong and safe and keep the woman he loves by his side before its to late.
KING’S REIGN has everything that you could want in an MC book. A strong, dirty, Alpha, a kick ass heroine with a gritty, edgy, suspenseful storyline with fantastic characters. We get the answers and some surprises along the way bringing a great conclusion. And the added bonus at the end oh hell i need that story now!!
“Did King send you?” More hesitation.
“We want to –” I cut him off. “No. King made it clear what he wants, and it’s not making sure I’m okay. Tell him I don’t need you guys checking on me. And tell him to take his men off watch duty, too. The police have a lead they’re following up, and they think it was a random robbery gone wrong. Whoever did it isn’t coming back, so we’re safe.”
Okay, so I know that not everyone has read the first part of this duet yet (Y’all have some WILLPOWER!), so I’m going to try to be the least spoiler-y that I can be. I don’t want to ruin the story, but I definitely want to share how I felt.
Now, a lot of people will read this story and think that King is a total … I’ll go with jerk as a mild option. If I’m being 100% honest, he totally is. I feel like there are a lot of reasons for it, not so much excuses, but events that completely and irrevocably changed the course and the outer actions of King. Is he a criminal? Yes. Is he oftentimes blunt to the point of cruel? Yes. Has he let people down? Yes. Has he made mistakes that cost a life? Yes. And while these things can’t be overlooked when deciding whether to let King into your life, it’s also good to look deeper.
This installment of the duet gives us a deeper look into King as a human, rather than just a member of the Sydney Storm MC or just a “bad man.” While this doesn’t excuse his actions, it does let us see that he does have a true heart within all of the controversial actions we see.
His woman … wow. She seems pretty stable versus King’s instability. She’s strong, independent, and her honesty is astounding. I love, LOVE that she stands up to King, even with all the feelings she has swirling inside her. “Look, you made your choice the other day, and you didn’t choose me. So please tell Mace and his friend to go home. Every time I see them, it makes me think of you, and I have other things I need to concentrate on at the moment.” She paused before adding a little less harshly, “Please.” Now, I didn’t always agree with her, but I do 100% agree with her for pushing him away after he did the same. Often, to me, the heroines in a these stories give in too easily. I’m always like, “No, girl! Stand up for yourself and let that man know he HURT you!”
There’s a lot I can’t tell you, honestly. I don’t want to ruin things for the first half of the duet (hence, not mentioning the character’s name), and I don’t want to give away what happens in this half. What I can tell you is that I highlighted what seemed like half of the book, because there were so many moments I wanted to remember. They weren’t moments really important to the story, but let me remember who these characters are.
This book (the whole duet, really), is pretty dark & gritty. You can’t really read through a lens or right & wrong or black & white — there’s just too much grey area here. But, if you can handle that and you take the time to truly get to know the characters, y’all will love King as much as I did.
This is the best MC series I have ever read, and Nina Levine saved the best for last. King is everything a bada@@, sexy alpha biker should be. I didn’t want to like him, but I just couldn’t help myself!
King is the shit! I absolutely love the men of Storm! Kings character is amazing! I love the strength of Lily. King and her are an awesome explosion of intense heat! Nina is one hell of a writer! I highly recommend this book!
Words cannot express my love for this book, this duet and this series. I adore these MC men that Levine has created and King is no exception. His fierce protectiveness of not only his club the the woman he falls in love with. The way the two of them just meld and clash at the same time is swoon worthy. I seriously love King so so much. He has this raw and grit prowess that will sweep you off your feet and beg for more. The whole rush of everything that has been happening to the club comes to a head and I love how King handles it on his own terms.
Overall, I am sad that this is done. But so looking forward to what will be coming next. The build of these characters throughout this series and specifically King’s Wrath and King’s Reign was sheer brilliance. You really get the feel of everything come full circle in this one. How King keeps control with not only the club but also with the woman he has fallen in love with. Take a chance on this series and let these men devour you whole! But just remember.. King is mine. I do NOT share! LOL!!!
After reading Kings Wrath I didn’t think it was possible for Nina Levine to make me love King and Lily more but I was so very wrong. I adored their story. It had the perfect balance of action, suspense, violence and romance.
King is absolutely swoon worthy. Whether he’s been bossy and possessive or been the dirty talking sexy alpha with a unexpected sweet caring side, he had me hooked on him. For all his gruffness he’s an extremely loyal man and once he’s claimed you as part of his family, he will go to the ends of the earth to protect you. I could rave about him all day long and not run out of things I like about him. Lily is the perfect woman for King. She’s strong, independent and is a natural nurturer. She genuinely cares about people and I couldn’t have picked a better woman for him. She’s just as easy to like as King is and she’s definitely one of my favourite female characters.
I admit I was a little apprehensive when I started Kings Wrath. I wasn’t entirely convinced I was going to like him but the more I found out about him, the more reasons I had to like him. His story is exactly what I wanted it to be. It’s gritty, raw, emotional and screams King and I can’t recommend Kings story enough.
This one is the final wrap up on his story that is well the icing on you know what. You get teased at the beginning when King and Lily go back and forth with each other until the click happens then it is on. Follow them through it all in this one that will give you the rolling boil with all the heat that makes a fire good and hot. This one is good to read to catch up and some things cleaned up with the passion of the King in all its glory. The sneaky part is at the end though when this author will still have you by the throat with you now gonna try and be patient for what she has in store for us next.
All I can say is I f**king love King. This ride was totally worth the wait. This story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster that you don’t want to end. We wanted King and in this book and we got all sides of him and once you let the crazy out be ready!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Kings Wrath was wow but Kings Reign sweet mother of all that’s holy it was just amazing, brilliant, phenomenal, seriously you can’t just use one word when describing it.
Kings Reign is highly intoxicating dark gritty intense suspenseful the kind that leaves you gripping the edge of your seat and your heart beating wildly in your chest.
And let’s be honest there is some very HOT explosive scenes between King and his woman in and out of the bedroom. (I’m not going to lie I really wanted to be her )
King is one sexy intoxicating hot alpha male who will leave you breathless and wanting to beg for more.
His loyalty and love for his family knows no bounds.
The reason I love this character so much is because what you see is what you get he wasn’t afraid to embrace his dark side and allow his demons to come out and play especially when it came to protecting does that mean everything to him.
His woman had the perfect blend of light and sweet to his darkness, this couple is definitely my new favourite of all the storm couples.
For me this book has been Nina’s best writing to date and I’m hoping like hell she keeps writing books with a dark side to them.
This book is a definitely worth more than 5 stars so on that note if you haven’t started Kings books yet get one clicking and find out for yourself why everyone is raving so highly about him .
WHAT A BOOK. Thank you Nina for introducing us to King. He is one in a million. He is the alpha of alphas. It is my #1 book on my list. I highly recommed it. Once in a lifetime read.
Wow what a fantastic ending…
King oh Sexy KING…
Talk about melt your panties and leave you wanting more.
The thing is he has a heart as big as the sea for women and children.
We get intense action and dark emotions.
We also get off the charts hotness.
I have truly enjoyed this series and I hope the author gives us more bikers.
OH God YES! KING has me all revved up. This man is crazy beautiful! King’s Reign is Amazingly Heart Clutching
King’s Reign is the conclusion of King’s duet. You would think things start to wind down in King’s Reign but NOPE not in this book. Just as exciting as King’s Wrath! It’s Pure Adrenaline!! This book should come with a ” PSA” King’s Reign will cause heart palpitations, nervousness, jitters anxiety plus leave you feeling amorous. All in a good way.
King’s Reign’s had me captivated by the suspense of not knowing what will happen next, trying to figure out who is really behind all the drama of the MC and of course seeing King fall hard for Lily (who is not as timid and placid as you would think). She is perfect for King. Their romance is fiery and explosive and yes at times endearing. King can be a softie in his own way. A definite page-turner full of excitement. I absolutely Loved it!
The Thing I love most about King is that he is not without flaws, he makes mistakes but he still does whatever he wants and whatever it takes to protect what he loves.
This Story and this character will stay with me forever!
Any avid reader will tell you they love a good series. Depending on the author you get a glimpse of your favorites or they appear in all the books as an integral part of the story. Then there are the characters that are peripheral but needed to make the story flow. Every once in awhile those peripheral characters become so dominant and their presence so encompassing you have to have their story.
King is that character; from the few glimpses we got in the original Storm series to the awesome ride that was the Sydney storm he has dominated my heart and mind. From his horrific childhood to the volatile and dysfunctional relationships he had with Ivy and Jen he has not know much peace.
In this final book of the series you feel the constant pressure he is under to keep his club and the woman he is falling for safe. I loved the way Lilly calmed his demons and gave him peace when he had so little of it. For every enemy he eliminated I cheered and for every minute he found a that little bit of peace I breathed a little easier.
King and his story will stay with you long after the final page; he will be one of those characters that you go back to time and again. I’m glad I took a chance a few years back and tried that first Storm book; it’s been a ride I’ve loved every single minute of and I’m sure I will revisit often.
Thank you Nina Levine!!!
Well I have finally finished all of King’s story and I have to say I’m very disappointed with how his entire story turned out.
I’m disappointed with how his and Lily’s relationship was and well in general I’m just disappointed I didn’t get to feel the connection between Lily and King like I could with the previous couples in this series.
At the end of King’s Wrath King has ended the relationship between Lily and him because her family has now been hurt due to her association with him. Well starting off right here this annoyed me because he can’t actually believe that at a time of war that there wouldn’t be casualties and that Lily and her family wouldn’t be on his enemies radar.
The way Lily handled her sister being shot really aggravated me. I understand that it’s her sister, but she is a mother first and foremost. She basically checked out, allowed her ex to take care of her and the kids (which yes, this is going to send mixed reviews to her ex).
Then without any kind of apologizing or groveling she allows King right back in her life as if nothing happened. It was annoying how this section was written.
As for the club. For me, this is probably my favorite part of all the books because of the interaction between the club members and we also get to see how they handle their enemies, especially when those enemies are law enforcement.
This duet( King’s Wrath Book 1) started out as a 5 star book, but I am more confused about King. 1. I still don’t get why he wanted Ivy gone, then stalks her for years and morbidly watched her pain and does nothing about it. 2. When did he start wanting to help women,in Nitro he kept his hands on Tatum,he was awful and he kills a dude and had a young girl to watch, when did he become this too normal guy. 3. Why would a mother with 3 kids get involved with criminals , why would a mother give up on her children’s future. 4. Lily made me feel like I was reading a regular every day romance and not a MC,there are the Lily characters in almost all romances since the 1980’s. I didn’t wanna read hear telling her son what’s wrong with his dad and what’s right about a murderer. Nina missed the mark with this one after waiting a year to publish it, at least to me…
