Book 1 ended in a cliffhanger involving Imani, so it was a no-brainer that I would read this second book in the Camelot Misfits MC series to find out what happened. Ms. Neal takes us on a wild ride with King and Imani, who have to deal with death, betrayal, secrets and surprises. Thankfully, they have the greatest sexual chemistry and love to help get them through. I was a little disappointed in how Imani did react and handle the news from her Godfather, Heath. I wasn’t expecting her to respond as she did, but I have no doubt it will be resolved. This author is one of my favorites as she always keeps you guessing, wondering, and giggling throughout her steamy stories, but she is killing me with these cliffhangers! King’s Legacy can’t come soon enough!

Holy smokes! Continuing King and Imani’s story kept me on my toes. I love the back and forth that they have and I’m getting attached to the other guys. I’m ready to dig in to the next book!

I’m loving how Xavier has taken this series from Dark, Darker, and Can’t wait till to see how much Darker can it get.
The last time we left off, there was a Traitor Amongst the Club, And a Potential Threat against a Love one.
Can’t wait to find out what Camelot and Xavier has in store for us.
This book starts right where the last one ends. You have to read book one before this one or you will totally lost. This book ends with a cliff hanger so be prepared. You still won’t see how things end. There’s lots of twists in this book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait for the next book
Another amazing read by Xavier Neal. Picking up where they left off with love, betrayal, and war. The love between Adonis and Imani is real and I love the nerdy aspects she gives to characters.
Do you like to read MC books with a twist? Then this series is a definite read. Book two takes off where book one ended so must read series in order.
This MC is unique because of how the round table and old world thinking in how they proceed with war against rivals. Also, the author doesn’t romanticize the MC world like some authors do. Expect how the MC life really is with a twist and you have the Misfits.
Can’t wait to see what’s next for King, Queen and their MC misfits.
Amazing, couldn’t put this down. Jaw dropping, eye opening experience. Need more please!! Felt chills up and down my body as if it was happening right in front of me.
Once again Xavier lures into her story telling web with her amazing character driven story. Xavier has a unique talent of making her characters seem like they could be your neighbor, your best friend, or the girl down the street you love to hate. This story, being about an MC, is a new direction for her. But as good as these books are, I hope she’ll keep telling us her stories about the Knights on the Steel Horses!
Another great story!! It’s fun, HOT and grabbed my attention from the beginning. It has characters you will love. I love the connection and the chemistry is sizzling. A great addition to the series and looking forward to reading more.

“King’s Conquest” picks up right where book 1 ended. We find our heroine, Imani, left in the dark, figuratively and literally. What I love most about this book is how perfectly and rather seamlessly Imani finds herself transitioning to MC life. Like most of Ms. Neal’s couples, the chemistry is electric and palpable. Even when King is acting morally corrupt, you can’t help but root for him. The love that these so characters share is amazing. You root for them.
This book was filled with some serious twists and turns and a lot of revelations, but you once again finish this book with more questions than answers. That is a testament to how brilliant of a writer Ms. Neal is.
The side characters, without a doubt, add in some comic relief. I love how Ms. Neal makes the side characters just as enjoyable and relatable as the main characters.
“King’s Conquest” was well written and an extremely addicting and riveting book. I could not put this down until I was finished. The writing flowed in a clear direction with a very clear beginning, middle and end.
If you enjoy MC books this is one series to not be missed.
After finishing the first book is this series, I was anxiously awaiting the next installment as it ended on a lovely cliffhanger. Be prepared as this one does as well. But! We start off right where it ended in the first book. King and Imani are being tested left and right. Imani is still making her way through the MC world and finding her place. I love reading her points of view. The Dread MC may be starting a war and who will be caught in the middle this time? Read to find out! We get introduced to more character development from the last book (Vin is a personal fav of mine) and more players come into the game! If you want to scream, cry, and laugh while reading a book, don’t hesitate to snag this one today. You won’t be disappointed.

Watching King (Adonis) and Queen (Imani) are finding their middle ground and both making compromises, and their bond is becoming stronger and stronger. Almost everything thrown at them, one is able to help the other work through it. But everything outside their bedroom is still in chaos, and you’ll be tearing through this one to find out what is going on.
And then you’ll feel the same way I did at the beginning 🙂
So darn good!! This is book two and it picks King and Imani’s story right were book one left us hanging. Prepare yourself for the cliffhanger ahead because there is one in preparation of book three and Wow! What a doozy! This story is so intense. It is filled with drama, action, powerful emotions and steam. As King and Imani’s story continues to unfold the stakes continue to rise as the threats get deadlier, secrets are revealed and the twists make your jaw hit the floor. I love King and Imani so very much. They are an amazingly strong couple and I love the blend of sizzling heat, funny cuteness, tender emotions and sweetness that makes the book heart melting, that is combined with the edge of your seat, action-packed, thrill ride of the MC lifestyle. A terrific read that left me wanted the next book Now!!!
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is book two in this series and it didn’t disappoint. It picks up where the first left off with Imani thinking she is being taken by the rival MC. Thank God this is not the case. The opening scene sets the tone for the book. This novel is darker than the first. We see alot more of the club activities which means more violence. Of course with the danger looming all around them Adonis and Imani seem to be more in love than ever! This was a great continuation of this series and I can’t wait for book three!
The second story in the Camelot Misfits series delves into more of the club life and how they handle business. You get a more in depth look at the members and potential members (rugrats). You’ll find out some secrets and might be heartbroken by some developments. Overall, at the end, you’ll be begging for more Misfits!
King tends to question his woman’s movie choices, “I would much rather watch one of those on our next couch night instead of a documentary on The Punic War or The Princess Bride or whatever chick flick you wanna try to claim isn’t a chick flick.” She delivers a playful swat to my chest.” King enjoys just watching his woman, “…leaning against the doorframe wearing nothing but a towel and wide grin. He waits until I’ve paused the playlist to attempt a lecture, “Queen-” I liked this book, I liked King.
Xavier Neal has finally done it, she’s given me an MC Series!!!!! I absolutely FLOVE it!!!! Hot AF, page turning fun!!!!! Get ready!!!! Make sure you have a fan, Cuz it’s gonna get HOTTTT!!!!
I cannot not explain how much I love this series! Xavier Neal kicked this one up a notch from Kings Return and that’s saying A LOT since Adonis and Imani were hot as sin in the first book and there were so many moments I held my breath waiting for the “please don’t do this to me” moment! Trust me, it came in the form of a scream at your Kindle/open the next book immediately ending! So now that I know how Neal writes I know to expect soul crushing love, incredible characters, and twist after brutal twist. I also love how she continously and flawlessly incorporates the story of King Arthur and the Round Table in a contemporary romance.
Adonis, King and Imani, Queen have come to terms with that fact that their lives will no longer be complete without one another. Their love grows as does their connection. King and his Misfits respect and value Queen and the value she can bring to their lives by being Kings Old Lady. They still face danger and betrayal daily but they are stronger together. I am in love with the dynamic of all the characters combined. Its this big and loud and loyal family you just want to be a part of. Imani and her Godfather Heath add a sweet touch to this story that is really special. And of course Neal throws us antoher twist and a long kept secret Heath has been holding back (which I loved; and saw coming). This series really is just all around special!
Neal is a true talent in her writing and her storytelling. She isn’t afraid to bring the heat, touch upon sensitive and disturbing topics, or dropping bombs when you thought there couldn’t be much more to take! She also isn’t afraid to take her characters and her readers one hell of a ride. It’s an un-put-downable series you’ll definitely need to be a part of!

Even more action and drama in book 2. Xavier takes us deeper into the MC and even deeper into her characters minds and hearts.
Cliffy ahead but so what book 3 is already available and that’s where you’ll find me next.
