The second book in Brittni Chenelle’s Kingdom Cold Series. With even more twists, intrigue, and swoon-worthy romance, this sparkling sequel to Kingdom Cold will captivate readers who loved C.J. Redwine’s Defiance, or Kiera Cass’s Selection. Besmium has been reduced to rubble, and sinister Camelot reigns supreme. Abandoned by Minseo, brother of the fallen king, widowed Charlotte’s path is … brother of the fallen king, widowed Charlotte’s path is perilous. I really enjoyed this book. The book was well written and the characters and story were well developed. The story was action packed and full of twists and turns. Unlike book one I was able to follow each of the chapters with ease and enjoyed the different perspectives. The characters had individual personalities and the character dynamics changed and evolved through the book. I’d highly recommend this book!!
I received an arc for a voluntary review.
Book 2 of this series takes the story and incorporates a Camelot storyline with King Arthur, Lancelot, and Merlin. However, it puts a new and interesting twist on the tale. I love the growth we see in Charlotte and where life had taken her. It is a continuation of the last book, but had enough new and interesting storyline that you don’t get bored. I love where the author is taking this and can’t wait to find out how she will conclude this tale.
Book 2 of the kingdom cold series takes place 5 years later. The characters show growth in facing new obstacles. This next chapter ties Charlotte and King Arthur’s stories together. There’s lost love and betrayals along with a twist or two thrown in. Can’t wait to see what happens in book 3.
This is a fantastic read that captured me right from the first page. This is an epic story that is fast paced and full of action that had me on the edge of my seat. The Characters are very well developed. This is definitely a must read.

This book was amazing!! I would give it 10 stars if I could! I was completely sucked into this world from book one! This author is easily becoming one of my favorites! Her attention to detail is superb!
Kingdom Soul is a great sequel to Kingdom Cold. Some time has definitely passed and the settings are different, but the still living characters are back for more adventures. Morgana is probably my favorite character in this one – she is precious. There is a huge twist at the end that I definitely didn’t expect. I can’t wait to read the next one!
Finally, in book 2 we get to see what happens to Charlotte and Minseo. The fact that he left her to travel alone, and with child, while being hunted by Arthur, who has taken over most of the world at this point, and Lancelot who is seeking his knighthood quest which is to capture Charlotte.
I could go on to give you all the details to catch you up, but what’s the fun in that? This is a book that needs reading. It is the most fun I’ve had with a Camelot twist in a very long time. It will turn everything you know upside down and on it’s head.
The characters will, for the most part, be very recognizable. But are they the same? Nope. Brittni has cleverly and entertainingly altered the characteristics of all the players in the Camelot drama. And such fun it is to have it all seem so wrong! Yet come together so well!
Get ready to say hello to King Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot, Gwenevere and Morgana. But open your mind wide, because you will be letting in entirely new characters who will entertain you to no end!
I loved this take, Brittni! Very Very Well done! Not everyone can take an old story and make if fun again. This was very well done, indeed.
I received this as an ARC. As always, though, this review is in my own words and of my own volition. In other words, I wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true!
