I give Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Book 4) by Tricia Copeland, 3 stars.
*This review may contain spoilers from previous books in the series.*
This Hunter’s story. The Trinity has been united and now it is Hunter’s time to transition into a full witch. But no one knows just what kind of power he will have. He feels the immense power, plus the new responsibilities he now has. Not to mention the darkness that seems to come with it. But he can not let this stop him. Things are happening and creatures are in danger. He may still be a teenager, but he must do this. He, along with his friends, must travel to find ancient artifacts that will help free the lost souls and work to defeat the evil powers who want to control everything. Will they be able to do it?
This quite an interesting story. This is not a standalone, you must read the other books to understand this one. I will admit, it has been a while since I read the previous books and I had trouble getting back into the story. But the characters were good and the story is quite complex. There is much going on and plenty of twists and turns. This is perfect for the young adult age group, being that the main characters are around 17.
If you are a fan of young adult fantasy, then this book and series is for you.
Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Volume 4) by Tricia Copeland is a paranormal fantasy and it is a story that is easy to lose yourself in. I have not read the other books in this series but I was able to follow along nether the less but I will be finding the other books in this series and I enjoyed this one so much. This story has everything you need to keep you enthralled. There is action and danger, lies and deceit, vampires and witches, fairies and angels just to name a few. This is part four of the series where the group known as the Trinity come into their powers and must face off against their biggest enemies or lose a world as they know it.
Hunter struggles with his new found power and worries that the son may become the father. He is a natural born leader and is having trouble not compelling people to do as he asks and work with the others of the group to stop evil.
Can’t wait to read more. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars
The story Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Volume 4) by Tricia Copeland is a paranormal/fantasy book. It is a story that once I started, I found myself lost in both the storyline and the characters. It is a book that includes action, danger, witches and other supernatural creatures. I enjoyed reading about the character of Hunter. His future depends on completing the trials. Hunter also believes that there is a dark part of himself that he always must be on guard against. He feels the weight of responsibility. Will Hunter and those he works with be able to triumph over the growing evil? What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. There are times I was turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. As many of the characters work together and are friends I enjoyed reading about the bantering and interactions between them. This story is well detailed, and I felt like I was right there with Hunter and the others. The author has written an amazing book with unforgettable characters. Highly recommended.
Witches and Vampires have been at it forever and I thought that I have read all there is to this trope but then Tricia Copeland comes out of nowhere and surprises me with this gem of a series.
Kingdom of war is the 4th book in the series and I do recommend that you start this series from the beginning.
This is Hunter’s story and Tricia took us on an epic adventure with Hunter as he lives up to his vow of protecting the witch lines.
The character development is great and the storyline is well thought out. There was one or two places where I got a bit confused but it didn’t take away from the story.
The narrator also did a great job (not the voice I would fit with Hunter but still he did an amazing job)
Kingdom of War: Kingdom Journals, Book 4 by Tricia Copeland
4 out of 5 stars
Tricia Copeland is one of my favorite authors. I have read many books of hers and thus I was delighted to pick up this little gem. This is the fourth installment in the Kingdom Journals series and a fabulous addition to the set. We meet up with Hunter who is the leader of a long-awaited trinity. Those who are going to restore the order. As his story progresses, I am reminded of Hercules and the requirement of the 12 labors, I find that these are similar to Hunter and the trials that he must complete. Hunter is a complex and often frustrating character as he is constantly at battle with himself and his growing power. He is struggling to control what he thinks is not his and not turn into the father whom he hates. The other two of the trinity are fantastic characters to Hunter and compliment him very well. The conversation, banter, and story progression make this a completely easy read or listen to. Lovers of Paranormal/Romance/Young Adult/Fantasy will love this book. 4 out of 5 stars.
Action, adventure, drama, and a coming of age all rolled into one! What a wonderful audiobook to have selected for our family road trip this summer! While my kids are older teens, it had enough excitement and mystery to keep the whole car on edge and following along. I think it even helped make the bathroom breaks shorter, because everyone wanted to know what happened next!! The author is a master at world-building, it is fast-paced in a good way, and the narrator had a wonderful way of making the book come alive! I highly recommend this series and only wish I would have found it when my son was younger.
This is full of action and suspense. Every page I turn there is something else happening. Will Theron find them? What does DJ have that can help them? Will they find all three pieces in time? Will the trinity be able to stop Thanatos? These kids travel all over the globe looking for all the pieces of the Lance. While saving the souls isn’t their only quest in this story…there are repercussions that cause more problems.
While all the characters have been together previously I really enjoyed DJ. He is new to the group(like me reading this). He is fun and cautious but full of energy. He also loves finally having a brother. I love his enthusiasm. Hunter is the MC. He goes through his test and accumulates a lot of power. As he learns to control it some crazy things happen. Will his power be enough to help him win the war? If it does…what happens after?
I enjoyed reading this. The relationships between all the characters were good. There are a TON of characters in here. I have not read the other books in this series and really had no trouble following along. They did reference some things that had happened in the past books thAt sound interesting. So I would suggest starting the series at the beginning. The characters are vampires and witches working together…which I enjoyed. The story flows very nicely and the drama and action easily kept me interested.

Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Volume 4) by Tricia Copeland
Kingdom of War is the fourth book in the Kingdom Journals series This is a paranormal/fantasy that I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t put it down till I finished. It is a fast paced story that has a bit of everything from action to danger and some witches and vampires. There was a few times I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Hunter’s future depends on completing the trials and he feels the weight of all the responsibilities. He feels like he has to be on guard against his dark side. Can Hunter and the others triumph over the evil? What’s there future’s look like?. Find out what happens next in this must read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.
What a great read! This is the 4th book in this series but it can be read as a stand-alone. This is a paranormal/fantasy novel and I devoured it. It’s a little different than my normal reads but it was a good one. The MC has to triumph over evil and make sure his own inner demons don’t over power him completely. I enjoyed this book and I’d like to read more books by this author.
This action packed fantasy drew me in and held me tightly in its grip. I found myself immersed in this world of witches and was just enthralled. What a thrill ride! I absolutely loved this book and thought the characters were wonderfully developed. Copeland has truly created a masterpiece that people of all ages will fall in love with. Loved it!
Kingdom of War by Tricia Copeland is the fourth book in the Kingdom Journals series. I was leary to start on the fourth book in the series but this can be read as a standalone. If you are like me you will be drawn in immediately and won’t want to put down the book. This is a fantasy story with supernatural characters. The world building is good and I could imagine the story easily. Hunter is the main character in this book and he is fun to read. He is going through a transformation but he has human traits. None of the characters are perfect each has flaws which make them enduring and relateable. I will be going back to catch the other books in the series after reading this fun read.
Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Book 4)
by Tricia Copeland
This was a great read. The author did an exceptional job bringing me into a world full of action, fantasy, danger, and so much more. This is the first book I have read in this series and I was able to follow easily. Now that I have read this one I am absolutely going to go back and read the previous books in this series. This book had me hooked from the start and I couldn’t put it down till I got to the end. I liked Hunter’s character and it was intriguing to watch him struggle with the power inside and what he believes to be evil inside him trying to take over. I really enjoyed the relationship between the characters and their banter with each other. I highly recommend this book you will not be disappointed.

This is the first book that I have read in this series. It can be read as a stand-alone but for me personally, I would have liked to have read the others first. I like knowing everything and it would have been good to know the history between the main characters and their stories. I liked how the author intertwined the Bible and the history of the angels with the witches. I found it added more depth to the story. I found this book to be quite original and entertaining. I will definitely be reading the preceding parts to this series.
Kingdom Of War (Kingdom Journals Volume 4, Hunter’s Story) by Tricia Copeland
5-stars
Kingdom Of War is the fourth book in this series and I do not recommend reading it as a standalone. It can be confusing if you do, although it will make sense as the story progresses. The other books in this series help the reader stay attuned to what is occurring. I really enjoyed reading this novel. It was full of action and wonderful characters. I felt the author did an excellent job with detail and the development of her main character. I look forward to more from this author in the future. I highly recommend this book and its series.
This is my first read from Tricia Copeland, and it was a genre that I love. It’s full of action, adventure, danger, magic and vampires. I loved this take on this genre it was captivating, engaging and mentally visual in my opinion. At points in this read its filled with twists and turns, ups and downs and I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved following Hunter’s journey in this read he has emotion, he has a responsibility that he finds a struggle because with it he has to face a part of him that has darkness. I kept turning the pages of this book and in the end, read it in one sitting. Along with Hunter on his journey are his friends, as secondary characters, they really help support Hunter’s story but without them, his journey wouldn’t be possible!
Tricia Copeland has created a read with an amazing storyline and incredible characters. This is a read that shouldn’t be missed! I highly recommend you check this book out!
Wow! This was one action packed and intense read in which I loved! This book literally had me hooked from page one!
This is my first book by this author and I can say I’m going to go back and read her other works. This book is not the first book of this series but I felt like I was ok reading it without reading the previous books but I will be going back and read the beginning of this series!
Hunter was probably one of the most complex characters I have read which made me love him so much. There are so many layers to peel away with him and figuring out why he does or is compelled to do what he does. The side characters just made the story that much better! They were so well rounded and just gave the story a new depth.
I cannot praise this book enough. Its intense and it’ll take you on one hell of a roller coaster ride!
Kingdom of War is the 4th book in the Kingdom Journals by Tricia Copeland. It is a paranormal/fantasy series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although it is a continuation from the previous books in the series, each of which surround one main character. I had not read any of the previous books in the series but the author does a fantastic job of making sure that you are not missing and important parts of the story.
This book centres around Hunter, who at 17. has only recently discovered that he is a witch. In fact, he’s a very important witch with a huge role to play in the future of all witches.
Reading this book was a huge leap for me as this is a genre that I’ve not read since I was a teenager (many, many years ago!) and I was unsure if I’d still enjoy this genre. Thankfully my fears were not realised as I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are many character and the whole plot/story line is quite intricate so you have to concentrate when reading (well, I did) but it’s worth it as this book is a great read. I would definitely recommend this book.
Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Volume 4) by Tricia Copeland is a paranormal/urban fantasy novel. In this particular book, the author provides Henry’s story. Darkness and light are at battle within Kingdom of War while many interesting and unique characters come to the battle to wield their fate! The sequencing in this story was entertaining with the overlay of the character interactions, development and locales they journey to. I found the essence of this story appealing and easy to read, while capturing interest and maintaining throughout the story.
Kingdom of War by Tricia Copeland a four-star read that will excite you. This is number four in the Kingdom Journals and I would say that you don’t have to have read the previous stories as the author does a great job of filling in the past and heling you understand the story, as I haven’t read the first three and didn’t feel like I missed much. Hunter is a great character and he holds the story and just makes you feel desperate to know what happens next. Tricia Copeland has a great talent of bringing the world to life, she creates characters that are exciting and unique.

This is not my first book by this author and because I have loved other books I decided to give this one a try. I’m not a paranormal fan and really wish I was but in saying that, this book was written very well as I have come to expect from this author.
This absolutely can be read as a standalone yet for paranormal lovers this book which is part 4 would definitely benefit had the previous stories been read.
It took me a bit to finish this book and that is not because of the writing but only because it just did not hold my interest which goes back to the I don’t normally choose Paranormal stories. I did find the character development done very well and really liked and understood Hunter, there was quite a lot of inner dialogue which helped understand his struggles.
There were some twists that were placed perfectly and even gave me and unpredictable ending, which I completely appreciated.
If you love the paranormal genre this is probably one of the best, I will keep coming back for more as I truly love this authors writing.
