This was a richly complex story spanning two countries, the U.S. and Ireland. The story involves chocolatier Magda, her husband Sam, her friends, Katy and Declan, and a number of other friends helping to investigate the story of the ghost of a long missing man from the past. In doing so, they help to reunite several distant relatives and solve the reason for a vengeful ghost’s disappearance and anger. This book is part of a series and can be read as a separate and complete story. However, since the cast of characters includes people from previous books, I highly recommend starting with the first book and reading them in order. All of the books are fun to read, and each successive book gets better and even more interesting. In addition to the ghost, there are psychic cats who help to pave the way. This story just grabbed my interest, and though my intention was only to read a few chapters before bed, I ended up staying up most of the night to finish reading it! I received an ARC, but the opinions expressed are solely my own.
