Scotland, 1704 It’s all about that kilt… Acting on a dare, three English brides-to-be sneak into Scotland for a scavenger hunt, their last adventure before marriage. Mallory wants a piece of pirate’s treasure, and Vivianne yearns for a love letter from a poet. But Bridget has more on her mind than the game. She knows life with her evil, blackmailing fiancée will be hellish, so she’s determined to … determined to make him suffer too—by stealing a Highlander’s kilt and leaving him to wonder how she acquired it.
The Scots charged with finding and protecting them along the way are entirely wrong–and perfect–for the job. Rory, for instance, is a kilt-clad Highlander, but he’d rather die alone in a cave rather than get within ten feet of another Englishwoman. Unfortunately for him, the duty to pay his grandfather’s debt will get him—and his two friends—much, much closer to the lasses than that.

Not often I do actual belly laughs, but this book forced that high pitched giggle! Loved it and am now checking out this new to me author’s backlist. Kudos!
I enjoyed the story, very original. there is action, romance, and trechery. it flowed well and was interesting all the way to the end. don’t miss this one.
In the song by Cindy Lauper, “Girls just wanna have fun”, is of the same case here. When three young ladies decide to take a fun trip with a secret hidden agenda, a last fling before conforming to the dictates of their families and expected responsibilities of the society they live in. They run into some “bumps in the road”; mainly in the form of three handsome highlanders, whose mission is to mess up the girls plans and paying back an old family debt by finding them and returning them home. A fun and innocently romantic read. I enjoyed it very much.
A sweet easy read for a too hot to do anything else August. A bit improbable but fun nonetheless. Just a wee bit of darkness to make you worry but a happy ending.
A great tale of three young women seeking a bit of freedom and adventure woven with three young men who are 3ventually their best ad 3nture as well as their path to freedom. This is a great read that will keep you interested and ready to read more from Ms Muir.
Good story line. Decent characters. Missed a little on the romantic side but all in all a good read.
Really enjoyed this book. Liked the main character lady who didn’t want to just give in to a situation without trying to make sure that the bad guy she was going to have to marry. Going with friends on a unique scavenger hunt that has twists. Interesting book!
This story was a bit drawn out and repetitous.
I loved this book. The ending was very abrupt, but characters were funny and I enjoyed meeting them
This book was funny and entertaining, really enjoyed reading it.
can’t wait for the sequel to become available
This book is ok. Kind of slow moving. Didn’t really like how it ends. I didn’t feel like we got enough of the relationship time vs how long they fought each other. So not a bad story just not great.
It was a fun book. Very entertaining.
a bit of a different twist on the Genre. Story build up started slow and was a bit different but then in took of and the real fun began
This was one of the funniest highlander books I have ever read. It was packed with action and was not a typical story for this period of time. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.
This is a really cute original story line, I laughed quite a bit it is on the light side but still more than worth your time.
A hilarious story of three young women on a quest before the marriage of one of the friends.
enjoyed reading this book!
I absolutely loved it. I tried to get the next in the series but no matter what I did I couldn’t get it. Please look into it for me. Would love to continue with the serires
Kilt Trip is my first book by L.L. Muir, but won’t be my last. Ms. Muir has delivered a well-written book and populated it with fantastic characters. Bridget, Mallory and Vivianne set off dressed as men on a quest in Scotland. Rory’s grandfather has passed away and he feels he must help the three women. Rory and Bridget’s story is loaded with drama, humor, action, suspense and spice. I enjoyed reading Kilt Trip and look forward to reading more from L.L. Muir in the future. Kilt Trip is book 1 of the Scavenger Hunting Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
