I loved this story! Daniel meets Edward and sparks fly between these two, and Daniel is drawn into the world of espionage.
What they find in the end is true love. This story was fun, hot and intriguing. I had fun reading this story.
This was an ARC book I volunteered to read.
I have read every single novel these two ladies have written together and so far I have enjoyed them all. That includes this particular book and so I can only hope that they will keep em coming, so I can keep on reading 😉
This is the seventh book in the series and this time we get to read about Daniel, Ward Security’s very own accountant. Now I am gonna be honest here and admit that I had no idea who Daniel was when I started this book. I guess I haven’t been paying enough attention because I am sure he was mentioned somewhere before. But with all my favorite hotties around, I guess I must have missed him… my bad…
Those of you who are into the whole “nerd” and the “badass” theme…are in for a treat! Nerdy Daniel is about to stumble upon his very own “secret agent man” when a case of mistaken identity leads Edward right to his lounger in Bermuda. Of course, he doesn’t know who Edward really is when he meets him. All he knows is that he wants to climb him like a tree….which he does
There is no denying the instant chemistry between these two, even though Edward likes to pretend he is only doing “his job”. Pretty soon they are neck deep in trouble and they need each other to make it to safe ground.
This book is full of fun, action, steam and sweetness and we even get a short little cameo with some of my favorites.
Now as much as I enjoyed this one, I have got to admit that I just wanted a bit more. I wanted to know more about Daniel and Edward personally. I know I am greedy but once a couple’s story is finished in this series, we don’t get much more info about them anymore. So this is all there is.
I wish that some of the books in this series would be longer. I miss really getting to know the characters like I did in “The Unbreakable Bonds” series. Those guys really started to feel like family and I guess that is something I don’t feel when reading this series. That doesn’t go for all books though, Geoffrey, whom I feel I know a tad bit more, is definitely an exception. But I guess that is because he does make several appearances in both series…and that’s the way I really like it 😉
So I guess it’s time for an Unbreakable re-read huh…Who am I kidding, it’s always time for a Hollis and Ian re-read 😛
If you’re a fan of steamy and suspenseful gay romance, I highly recommend this series 😉
An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review
Wow, I think this is the best story in the Ward security series I’ve read up till now. It’s fun, packed with action, and spies all over the place. I loved the characters (especially Daniel, Wards accountant), the great storyline and the MC’s touring through Europe. If you like the Ward security series, this really is a must read, but even stand alone it’s a great story. Highly recommended.
Daniel finally takes a much deserved vacation. Bermuda:beautiful beach,a cold cocktail and a book…the peaceful time off he needs. But then he turns his head towards the attractive man sitting on the lounge chair next to his. Accepting Edward’s invitation to dinner soon turns his life into an exciting spy movie: he’s shot at,blown up,kidnapped and almost ran off a steep mountain road.
I love all the books written by these authors, but I never had so much fun as I did reading this one. The riddles, the adrenaline rush because of the high speed action, the beautiful scenery and cities, are all thrilling. But what I enjoyed most was the heat inducing, heart stopping connection between Daniel and Edward. Daniel considers himself too boring and Edward thinks that he’s too hardened by his job,but neither of them can fight their strong chemistry and trying to stay away from each other is futile.
Killer Bond is the more entertaining, hotter, mm version of a James Bond movie and I can’t recommend it enough.
What is not to love about this fantastic romp of a book! It’s like all the spy/action/love story movies all rolled up into one fabulous book.
Daniel is adorable and capable of much more than he gives himself credit for. He is Ward Security’s accountant who was formerly an FBI agent. On a much needed vacation he meets Edward, who turns out to be a CIA operative. What ensues is an action packed ride that will have you glued to your book.
I loved the dynamics between these two. Each is surprised by the other in many ways. Watching these two fall for each other is epic. I hope we get more of them in future books!
