From the bestselling author of The Social Affair and HER comes an intense and deadly provocative thriller which follows a woman who, in a fight for survival, realizes her job may cost more than it pays.“This tale of seduction, obsession, and murder will resonate with fans of Patricia Highsmith. The pace is fast, the prose is smooth, and the plot genuinely twisty.”Several times a week, Charlotte … twisty.”
Several times a week, Charlotte Jones leaves suburbia behind and boards a chartered flight to parts unknown, where she wraps her hands around the necks of marks for just as long as she has to.
Then she goes back to domestic life with a paycheck, defense wounds, and the sense that she can handle anything.
Which is good, because being a wife, mother, and sociopath, with an insatiable taste for murder, gives the term work-life balance new meaning. When one life unexpectedly bleeds into the other, leading to a secret admirer and borderline insta-fame, Charlotte is forced to ask herself if she really can have it all.
Slick and unsettling, Kill, Sleep, Repeat is a cunning tale of deception and desire that begs the question: Do we ever really know people the way we think we do?
Praise for Kill, Sleep, Repeat

“Kill Sleep Repeat” by Britney King
“Kill Sleep Repeat” is full of action from the beginning to the end. Are you ready? No way you’ll put this down! Britney King has done it again!”-Green Gables Book Reviews
Charlotte Jones lives a normal life.
Married, 2 kids, a job as a flight attendant. Her life is good, normal, a bit mundane.
Oh, yes, she has another job, too. Only one other person knows about it. It is not mundane. She kills people. That’s right. She’s paid to take a flight and kill whoever she is told to kill. Then, she goes home. She hides her battle bruises and goes back to being wife and mom until the next time.
Charlotte’s life is filled with do what-ever it takes moments, lies, half-truths, and distraction. Checking her phone for cryptic messages, creating reasons she’s taking another trip. Lying to her husband.
She is in full control, always. Always.
When an acquaintance tries to take control, Charlotte reacts. When she’s told something she doesn’t believe, she takes control back, on her own terms. No matter the cost.

Thank you to Author Britney King for providing me with this book to read and review.
Britney King is a fairly new author to me. I have never read an Britney book before. Seriously after reading this book I feel like I’ve missed out and will need to catch up on his other books!
I found this story creepy, dark, addictive and absolutely unputdownable.
Kill, Sleep, Repeat by Britney King ticked all the boxes for a great psychological thriller for me.
With this amazing, unputdownable, suspenseful masterpiece, Britney proves that she is right up there with the best thriller writers of today.
An intense, highly atmospheric experience as her uncanny ability to totally engage readers in a story. Being a fan of the Dexter-series, I couldn’t resist this title. This book felt very real and I was so engrossed in it, I completely forgot I was reading.
This book was absolutely amazing. I want to recommend it to absolutely everyone. I’m confident that Britney has become a new favorite author.
I loved it! This book has restored my faith in psychological thrillers and was a solid 5 star reading experience. It’s well-written, perfectly plotted, and riveting. This intense, dark psychological thriller is just brilliant with its killer
I love a book that stays in you’re mind after reading it!!
A must read roller coaster of a thriller.
Britney King is the Queen of Psychological Thrillers
I’ve never read this author’s books before so I had no idea what to expect. All I know is that I love Psychological Thrillers, and this one sounded right up my street.
The story was gripping from the beginning and it had me on the edge of my seat a few times throughout wondering what was going to happen. This is a dark book, full of twists and turns. There’s a lot that I didn’t see coming.
Charlotte is a total bad*ss character, and see more of that as we have flashbacks of her life. Charlotte is married and has 2 daughters. Everyone thinks she is just a flight attendent. But what everyone doesn’t know is that she is always a hired assassin, going around the world kiling the worst of the worst.
I really don’t want to say much else because of spoilers. So I’ll just say that if you love Psychological Thrillers you should definatley read this book!
3.5 Stars
This was my first experience with the author and I will be definitely checking out more of her stuff in the future.
So this was an interesting premise Charlotte leads a double life, not only is she a wife and mother but using her job as an air stewardess as a guise she travels the world as a top-level international assassin and while it is instantly obvious that Charlotte who goes by the code name Olivia is a sociopath who is ultimately at heart self-serving and selfish she also utilises her talents for what she sees as the greater good helping to rid this world of its top predators along the way while earning a paycheck.
She also again seems to again have a heart when it comes to her husband Michael and her children Sophia and Hayley.
So Charlotte is definitely not all bad and she has her own set of standers that she holds herself accountable too.
So this was primarily a psychological thriller, it. narrated from two separate points of view: mostly Charlotte herself and a character called JC who seems to be a sociopathic stalker that she has managed to collect along the way and who also seems to have a limited idea of who Charlotte really is: he’s definitely due for a loud awakening though.
So this was bloody and brutal and totally unapologetic, it was also an intriguing insight into what makes our girl tick.
I certainly enjoyed this a lot but it wasn’t without some issues that affected my overall enjoyment slightly.
So where this lost points for me, first this moved fairly slowly concentrating more on Charlottes inner-self reflection and relationship dynamics.
But when it really mattered after that grand reveal and all and I was expecting things to go completely postal there was absolutely nada, no confrontation or fallout whatsoever.
The struggle and eventual results were all internalised this is when I would have like to see the family dynamics implode taking no prisoners.
I definitely think opportunities were lost here and it could have been so much better.
I also didn’t really ever get a real sense of JC and who he essentially was.
I also wasn’t a huge fan of the epilogue either.
Despite the above, at heart, this was still very entertaining it also had oodles of potential and come on female housewife assassin how could you not want to get stuck into that, for that reason alone I would recommend you try this one.

As soon as Kill Sleep Repeat hit my Kindle, I began reading. I cannot let one of her thrillers sit on my virtual bookshelf. I must know who will be put through hell this time.
Stay focused. Remain in character. Don’t get murdered. For Charlotte, they are rules to live by.
Charlotte is a flight attendant and an assassin, which makes it easy to travel to her marks. Her victims pay the ultimate price. She’s married to Michael, with two daughters, but no one knows her secret. She is a sociopath, no conscience, no remorse and revels in wrapping her hands around her marks neck until no sign of life is left, but they are all villains in their own right. Her father was a sheriff, so maybe that’s where she comes by her need for justice.
She killed for the first time when she was in college, but Britney King doesn’t let it be just a murder. This the first twist that caught me offguard and I am loving it.
Do we ever really know someone? Their true thoughts and feelings? What they are doing when we are not with them? How long can someone hide the truth from their spouse, their family, their friends? How long before they all figure out who you really are…a sociopath.
Henry…is a good or bad? Can she trust him?
JC…well, I see him being a big problem and I’m not sure who he really is…until…
The website. I love how she handled that. Adds a little something extra, which is something Britney King manages to do in each and every story. It’s the little details that make a story something special.
Britney King is excellent with book surprises and I was hit with one after another, each larger than the first. I never saw the direction we would go, the danger and intrigue. I want to say more, but I want you to experience this for yourself, so mum’s the word.
As I read Kill Sleep Repeat, I was totally in Charlotte’s corner. She may be a vigilante, taking the law into her own hands, but I want her to succeed and survive. I want her to get her revenge when she is faced with the ultimate betrayal. Kill or be killed.
I bounced between 4 and 5 stars, but because it is an ARC, I will overlook the tiny issues I had because it is just that good!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of Kill Sleep Repeat by Britney King.

Favorite Quotes:
There are three rules. More than that, but three main ones: Stay focused. Remain in character. Don’t get murdered.
It’s funny how different he looks now that I don’t care about him anymore. Now, I can see how ordinary he is, how it was my love that made him special… that placed him on a pedestal.
My Review:
Every single time I have picked up one of Britney King’s brilliantly paced and absorbing tales, I seem to be immediately sucked into her character’s vortex and there I remain, in the eye of her cleverly contrived storm long after the final page. Her word voodoo is strong! But ~ sputter ~ Holy Hell! As if I didn’t already know but this gripping tale confirms it – Britney King is one twisted sister! I gasped, I cringed, I shivered, I flinched, I sucked up wine like a dehydrated camel while white-knuckling my Kindle, but I couldn’t have stopped reading this unsettlingly insightful and well-crafted tale if my hair was on fire. Ms. King excels at seductive sociopaths, and I bow in awe and respect (and no small amount of fear) to her agile skill and word prowess. Although, I feel in desperate need of brain bleach after this one, due to the heinous nature of the vile villains her clever character was dispatching – uuuggeee.
Damn you, Britney King, I spent an hour and a half standing in the bathroom “preparing” to shower before I gave up and went back to bed where I devoured the last 31% of Sleep Kill Repeat. I would not have been able to proceed with my day before I finished. I feel for you authors that spend hours of days and months fine tuning such an amazing story for readers like me that read your words like an obsession… Just give me one solid day where I can read an entire Britney King novel and it is on! That’s all I needed…. a nice Sunday where it’s snowing outside and a never-ending pot of coffee accompanying my thrilling and compulsive story about murder and sex.
I think what pulls me in the most with Britney King’s stories is the way her killers have no conscious. More than that, Charlotte has no real feelings at all. Plus the way Miss King creates her stories and develops the characters, we spend so much time in their minds with them. I feel like I end the story knowing them like I know myself. I honestly would have loved a duet where King could go more into JCs life and more of the other guy 😉 I loved being in Charlotte’s mind but I was so curious about more!!
So there’s another King book finished way before I wanted it to end… you’d think I’d start to pace myself. I can’t. It’s a compulsion and obsession, like I said above. I NEED to finish, I just HAVE to. What a conundrum this talented author puts me in every single time… what a gluttonous I am for Britney King’s books.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Wow !! Just speechless. Amazing withbtwist and turns !! I was hooked until the last page !!
Wow! Where to begin??!! This is a definite dark , twisted, suspenseful, hard to put down thriller! So many twists and turns! Just when you think you know what is going on …..you are totally blindsided! I was enthralled with this book from beginning to end. A definite wild ride of a story!
3.5 Stars
Psychological thrillers are a favorite genre of mine and I wanted to love Kill, Sleep, Repeat, but for me it missed the mark.
Charlotte Jones is a flight attendant. It’s not a job she particularly enjoys, but it makes her other job easier. For fifteen years, she’s flown around the world, eliminating the most unsavory who’s money and power allow them to cheat justice. In another world, one could appreciate the vigilante justice dispensed by Charlotte and her co-assassins. However, that was lost in translation for me because Charlotte is a sociopath and she killed long before she became a hired assassin.
Murders, spree killings, kidnappings, cartel hits…all good stuff, but for me, the delivery was lukewarm. Charlotte’s always methodical, matter of fact, and planning her next move… meaning, the next time she gets to kill.
JC Warren is a psychopath, stalking, kidnapping and keeping women as his ‘wives’ until he tires of them… and now he has Charlotte in his sights.
Charlotte’s real life includes a husband and two teenage daughters who are little more than props for her. I felt sorry for Michael, her long-suffering husband. At first. Her past includes a mother who abandoned her, and a police officer father killed in the line of duty shortly before Charlotte became a mother.
JC hints at his old-money family, which gives him the freedom to be a predator. I never got a good grasp on JC. Psychopaths are hard to define even in fiction, but a sadistic nature accompanies his warped sense of right and wrong.
Charlotte carries this read and there were several missed opportunities when suspense could have been amped up, but she always retreated into her internal thoughts and the moment was gone. Despite being a sociopath, I expected more emotional reaction from her, especially when she found out to whom she was married to, but even that seem tempered. Shaken by the discovery, to me, she was more indignant than hurt. She was smart. She was calculating… and she’d been fooled. However, when she spoke of her love for Michael and how it made him special, I nearly rolled my eyes into another dimension. He was someone she’d tolerated, manipulated and ignored. Charlotte Jones didn’t love anyone.
Told from Charlotte and JC’s alternating points of view, this well-written story has a good premise and spot on plot twists, but with the retelling of the story, many times it reads like a journal with little showing. With Charlotte’s flat personality and JC being just plain nuts and out of step, I never felt any sense of urgency or suspense… no pop. It’s a good story that for me, fell short.
Intense! If I had to come up with one word to describe Kill Sleep Repeat, that would be it. From the very first line to the final twist in this book full of twists, this one is absolutely unputdownable. Britney King has become a go-to for me when it comes to psychological thrillers, and as soon as I gobble up one, I’m anxiously awaiting whatever she does next. This is the best one yet, and that’s really saying something because this author continuously sets the bar higher and higher. I won’t go into details of the story so I don’t spoil it, and this is one that really deserves to be read spoiler-free. What I will say is that this is one rollercoaster ride of crazy. It’s a magnificent combination of shocking, dark, twisted, gory, and edge of your seat intensity. Kill Sleep Repeat is definitely not for the faint of heart, and it does address some hard topics, but it is another terrific read from this author.
First off I love how Britney King starts her books, with just that prologue, you just know it’s going to be good.
All the stars!!!!
Well done Britney King, another amazing story with twists and turns you don’t see coming.
I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Fantastic thriller ! Britney King wrote a great storyline. There were so many twists and turns I couldn’t put the book down. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, I was wrong. I really enjoyed reading this book ! I received an arc of this book and this is my own opinion.
You guys! What did I just read?! MIND. BLOWN. This is potentially my new favorite Britney King masterpiece. It was so perfectly twisted, with just enough disgusting tossed in to make me slightly uncomfortable.
Ok, so what can I actually say about this book without giving everything away? Nothing, really. I think you need to take what’s given to you in the synopsis, and run with it. Sharing anything else will ruin all the fun. I will say, though, that you probably shouldn’t expect to like many of the characters. (Although did you really expect to? Didn’t think so.)
I can tell you that it’s a binge-worthy read, and you’re likely to finish it in just a couple of hours. Maybe let the fam know they’re going to be on their own for a while, then go find your hidey hole. Part of me thinks I should tell you to suspend your beliefs before reading it, because the story is kind of out there. But then I think, “isn’t that the point? It’s just far-fetched enough to verge on no way. . . Except maybe it’s actually possible?”
Final verdict: if you love a dark, twisted tale of sex, murder, and deceit, you should grab a copy of this book. It’s the kind of messed up trip I have grown to love from Britney King.
Dark Psychological Thriller | Domestic Thriller | Vigilante Justice
Woah. This just may be Britney King’s DARKEST novel yet! Not only is it DARK, but it’s a complex, mind bending thriller with a SHOCKING TWIST I didn’t see coming. Honestly, my mind is still reeling for it all. Readers, if you’ve enjoyed the authors books in the past you won’t want to miss this one. Potential readers, I recommend her books! She writes fantastic novels of psychological suspense but in a unique and satirical way. In each one you get to be the eyes behind the narrator and see everything unfold. It’s sort of like reading YOU by Caroline Kepnes but in a much harsher way. I absolutely LOVE IT. I do want to warn you though that this book may have some triggers. Want to know what they are? You can read my mini spoiler here >> (view spoiler)
That being said, I don’t want to get too much in the plot because I don’t want to spoil the story and I fear ANYTHING I say about it will in fact be too much. I will say though that this is one heck of a thriller and I was glued to the pages from beginning to end. I read this one in ONE SITTING and am still thinking about it. I love Britney’s novels- they are so unique and gripping- and am anxiously awaiting the next one already!
OMG!!! Britney knocks it out of the park with her latest dark, twisty and satirical thriller. This was a book that I read in one sitting. I really didn’t see the end coming at all and what an ending this was. Britney is my go to author if you truly want the most psychological thrillers out there. In this book, we learn all about Charlotte who as the book’s title says, Kill Sleep Repeat and one who has read her novels know there is a big twist coming at the end. Never saw this twist coming and what a twists it was. I anxiously await her next book. They are awesome and if possible I would give it 10 stars!!!
I can not believe how Ms. King keeps coming up with stories that not only pull the reader in like you are standing right beside the characters watching but keeps the reader from seeing what is coming!!! One of my favorite authors, Ms. King has gone above and beyond in this book. Haven’t read any of her books? Shame on you!!! You are missing out if you like suspense and thrillers!!!! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This new book from one of my favorite authors is at times dark, satirical and gritty. It has all the things I have learned to expect from a Britney King novel. If that doesn’t offend you, you need to read this psychological thriller. It took me a day of total immersion, no phone calls, texts, emails. Nothing but me and these characters and I read non-stop until the last sentence. I could not quit. I had my usual reactions of “didn’t see that coming”, and “wait, what?” and ” oh, I see now”, along with a lot of other thoughts, once I read the last sentence. The story of Charlotte or Olivia (you pick) and Michael was over. Characters, I might add, who are quite complex and not terribly likeable, yet I did find myself caring about them. Because, it’s a Britney King book. I digress. The reading had ended and after my moment of closure my next thought is this – How soon will I have a new Britney King book to read? I’m already anticipating the next story from this astonishingly talented and unique author
Britney King takes you into the minds of the characters. Charlotte is an airline hostess that is also a contract killer. Secrets about her husband Michael come out. This is a page turning thriller that you will not want to put down.
Kill, Sleep, Repeat: A Psychological Thriller was another great read by Britney King. Charlotte is a wife and mother but also a sociopath. She has an insatiable taste for murder that she quenches with chartered flights several times a week. But at the end of those flights, she goes back to her suburban home. Her two seperate lives wind up bleeding into one another. Charlotte gains a secret admirer and some instafame. This makes her question if she can have it all. This was another great read by Britney King, I can’t wait to read more by the author.
