A Man in Desperate Need
FBI Agent Jake Carlisle is in deep trouble. While undercover he’s been shot but he’s not sure if it’s the crooks or local cops behind it. Worse, if he can’t get help fast, two lives will be lost — his and that of the young witness, a boy whom he’s sworn to protect. On the run from both the police and the Russian Mafia, he’ll do anything to save the child at his side, even … side, even something illegal. In desperation he kidnaps a nurse from a hospital parking lot.
A Woman at The Edge Of Despair
ER nurse Samantha Edgars has been living in an emotional vacuum since the death of her daughter. Abandoned by her husband not long afterward, she struggles just to get through each day, but now all she’s wants is for the pain to stop and finally be at peace with her child. Mentally and physically exhausted following a difficult shift, she walks through the hospital’s dark parking lot lost in her own thoughts. Suddenly, she’s jolted from her stupor when she’s bound, gagged, and tossed into the back of her car.
Danger on Their Heels
When they arrive at her home, she’s terrified and forced to tend a bleeding FBI agent and his injured witness. But Samantha quickly learns the rogue agent and orphaned boy need more than just her professional skills. With a menace bearing down on them, she must learn to trust Jake — and her heart — if they’re all going to survive.

This was a great romantic suspense – heavy on the suspense. Jake was an FBI agent who had been undercover for 3 years. He had worked his way into the Russian mafia as an enforcer when his cover was blown. He ran, taking “Little Partner”, 9-year-old Nicholai, with him. The boy had been tortured by the mafia and would kill him, which Jake couldn’t …
Loved reading this book I highly recommend it
A Good Read. Interesting characters and a good, easy read with just enough romance along with the thrill factor of … trying to stay alive.
This book got me from the get go i would not have guessed so many twists and turns and the real culprit i kinda figured out but the ties he had were a surprise. Great read.
I admire every author for all their hard work. I enjoyed the story, and will read more books written by this author. The characters are adorable and the story telling is consuming. I escaped in a well-written romantic fictional world until I finished reading.
I enjoy this series, another good read.
This wasn’t just your typical romantic suspense. Yes, we have man that kidnaps woman and eventually they fall for each other but it also takes us through the grief and healing of the heroine of a past traumatic loss in her life.
Undercover FBI agent Jake Carlisle has been shot and his nine year old Russian witness has been stabbed and tortured. …
This book is what I expected, it’s a romantic mystery and as always the ending is predictable. I thought this was a well written story with a good plot, it was better than average for the genre.
I stayed up all night reading Kidnapped. I liked the way it was revealed with flashbacks that the main character was depressed and the kidnapping made her abandon her plan she had before she was kidnapped. This is a very suspenseful and action packed novel. I’m looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
Started off fast, and kept me turning the pages. Enjoyed it greatly.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Good suspense with romance tied in
I really enjoyed this book. Love the characters. I’d highly recommend.
Loved this book. There was love, friendship, trust, importance of family, great characters. Kept me wondering until the end.
A single novel that includes all my favorite elements of a story- romance, facinating characters, surprises, and suspense.
This book was one of the best I have read recently. There were many twists and turns as you read it. You feel you are missing something as you read and at the end you find the answer. Very well written.
I enjoyed this book. It kept my interest right up until the end.
Enjoyed reading this book. Kept you wondering what would happen next
I read this book longggg ago. And I still remember it vividly. That’s the sign of a damned good book, and Kidnapped was one for me. Loved it, Suzanne!
