This is my first read of Indie LaRue’s and it definitely won’t be my last. There are some triggers (for those that don’t like the taboo fantasies)! This is a dark romance, there’s stalking and kidnapping – but it is a delectably fantastic one.
Jasmine dreams of getting away from her sad life of neglectful parents that are too consumed with their own downfalls to take care of her.
Beast fell for Jasmine the minute he saw her at passing and has been watching her for weeks. Preparing and waiting for the perfect moment to take her – determined to make her his. When that moment comes, your kindle is gonna blaze up from the steam.
What starts out as a hostage situation turns into a happily ever after.
This short, over the top, alpha hotness that Indie has written is a definite must if you like the taboo dark romances like I do.

So this was a free ARC copy from one of my favorite erotica authors of short read, plus booksprout for my voluntary honest review and I so enjoyed reading it.Mmmm once I started reading it I just had to finish it to see how it ended and it was sooo worth it because it was sooo freaking sizzling hooot!!! It had a great storyline and great characters to read about to , plus like I said before it’s so freaking sizzling hot.And I so look forward to seeing more from this author in the future because I really like reading her work!*Spoilers Tag-Jasmine has to walk threw the woods to get home and she has felt someone watching her, but not seen them. Then she kidnapped by a mountain man and taken to his remote cabin in the woods and he tells her that he’s going to keep her and he’s his now to take care of and pleasure to her hearts content. She’s a virgin but once he’s done teaching her all about the pleasure he can teach her she knows thats he was right that she’s his now!!,*Mmmm what a sizzling hooot read so if you want more go get the rest of the story, its so worth it! ENJOY EVERYONE

Short and steamy with lots of triggers which I was expecting due to the blurb. I thought it was kind of sad that Jasmine’s life was so dismal that being kidnapped was actually a highlight in her life. Her reality of escaping but not having anywhere to go was also kind of pathetic.
Her captor stalked her, kidnapped her, bound her, and manipulated her with physical pleasure and it was the most attention she had ever had from another person.
I liked that her Beast didn’t really hurt her, and his focus on her ended up being sweet.
This was too short to really feel any real connection between the characters other than their physical attraction.
Perfect if you are in the mood for a short well written easy to follow lusty read where dubious consent is ok.

This is a bit strange story but still it is quite good. Insta-everything fast and has quite the number of + 18 scenes despite it being as short as it is. But I liked it and felt it doesn´t really lack elements in it for this type of story. So four beautiful stars it is for this one.
