She’s the Outcast no one wants – until they get into trouble.
Raine’s a Fae with no magic. Banished to live among “Mundanes” in the Human world she works as a Private Investigator for Otherworlders. Problem is, she’d rather he just stayed … Problem is, she’d rather he just stayed missing.
Hurt by everyone she’s ever cared about Raine isn’t about to open up her heart to her “bad boy” best friend Jordan who’s been in love with her for years. Especially since his Pride’s made it abundantly clear that there’s no way they’ll let him mate anyone but another weretiger.
As Raine investigates the disappearance of Gabriel, she discovers that he hasn’t just run off with a set of twin Christmas Elves for the weekend. Something more sinister is in the works; and if she can’t save him Christmas will be ruined forever.
But will rescuing Gabriel bring Raine and Jordan closer, or will old feelings for Gabriel tear them apart?

This story is a paranormal, Christmas, P.I. comedy-romance. There’s something that will tickle your fancy, regardless what you’re looking for, although it sometimes seemed that the author was trying to do too much and therefore sacrificed the possibility of producing a great genre piece in favour of providing something for everyone.
It did keep me chuckling at the characters and the antics and the romance was sweet and convincing. The cast of characters includes witches, fae, shifters, a dragon, a demi-god and even Santa’s playboy son who’s been kidnapped and needs rescuing.
It is an interesting read that doesn’t take itself too seriously and provides a fun romp on a cold winter .afternoon
Oh my goodness! I loved this story! It was different, and I really enjoyed how the elements were pulled together. I laughed and smiled so much while reading, and I’d definitely recommend it!
Great start to a new romantic comedy series. The author brings a cast of strong characters and weaves a fun filled story that had me chuckling along the way. it’s a fantastic paranormal Christmas story with vividly painted scenes , moves quickly and smoothly and is a great read. I’m looking forward to more!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Kidnapped at Christmas is a good, short story filled with adventure, intrigue, subterfuge, shifters, fae, many Otherworlders, magic, mayhem and a sweet romance. Don’t be fooled by it’s length, it packs a lot of punch for a short story. The characters are well developed and engaging. They are resilient and witty, from the main character, Reine, right down to her pesky pet.
Raine’s a Fae with no magic of her own. Her ex boyfriend goes missing and she has to find him. She runs into something old and powerful, but things aren’t always what they appear.
Raine, Jordan and Sam great together and I can’t wait to see what else they get up to!
A paranormal Christmas? Fairies and shifters and dragons oh my,
This is a short and very entertaining story which includes those mentioned above. We have a kidnapped Santa family member and a former girlfriend of said member has been asked to find him before xmas is ruined.
The story begins prior to the kidnapping and let’s us in on the background of the characters and how it leads to the current situation. With the help of a very close friend the heroine follows the clues. They do this while internally fighting their feelings for each other.
Discover who the culprit is and what happens in their endeavor to rescue the victim. Do they finally accept their feelings for each other knowing that their differences should keep them apart? Well from beginning to end the story is filled with humor, paranormal activity and even a little forbidden hanky panky. Who knew Christmas was filled with more than Santa and elves.
As you can see I don’t give spoilers you’ll just have to get this great little story written by an author with a very unique point of view and the ability to put it in writing. I recommend this book to anyone who can enjoy a humorous, paranormal view of Christmas that you’ve never had before and oh yes a little sex thrown in as well. I hope to see these characters in another story.
