Trent Carrington.
Trent Mr. Perfect-Has-Everyone-Fooled Carrington.
He’s the star quarterback, university scholar, and happens to be the sexiest man I’ve ever seen. He shines at any angle, and especially under the Saturday night stadium lights where I watch him from the sidelines. But I know the real him, the one who broke my heart and pretended I didn’t exist for the past two years.
I’m the … years.
I’m the third-string kicker, the only woman on the team and nothing better than a mascot. Until I’m not. Until I get my chance to earn a full scholarship and join the team as first-string. The only way I’ll make the cut is to accept help from the one man I swore never to trust again. The problem is, with each stolen glance and lingering touch, I begin to realize that trusting Trent isn’t the problem. It’s that I can’t trust myself when I’m around him.
This is a full-length, sweet, hot, safe, standalone American football romance novel.

This is my first book by Celia and I really, really enjoyed it. Her writing is amazing her characters are awesome the chemistry is off the charts and the storyline is beautiful and well written.
Well I officially have my very first five star review. (Seeing as how I don’t count my rereads.)
Sports romances are my weakness. I can’t deny a football romance especially. So as reading my TBR in author alphabetical order, (Don’t know if I will stick to it) this is a book I’ve had on it for a year or so.
The alpha male Trent is deliciously written. I want an order of one, per favor! I loved the heroine. She was a quick witted soccer player turned football player. The duo work well together.
I also love the fact that Aaron researched the mechanics on kicking. That’s the most important part in any book. The author doing research on the topic they are writing about. It’s really irritating when they don’t. (Reason why I don’t read many military hero books)
I think this is one of my favorites of the year so far. Has definitely made my list for best book of 2019.
On to the next one!
4.5 Field Goal Stars!
I was completely captivated by this unique and sexy, second chance romance from beginning to end! From the very first chapter I was drawn in to the heart pounding and emotional story, along with an extremely embarrassing and funny moment, it only continued on from there. Trent Carrington and Cordelia Baxter both play college football for the University of Billingsley. They couldn’t be more opposites. Trent is the star quarterback and comes from a very privileged family. Cordy is from the other side of the tracks and is the 3rd string punter. She is only on the team for the partial scholarship to help her pay for school. Cordy and Trent had a brief affair 2 years earlier. Trent broke Cordy’s heart and she has avoided him ever since. The life of privilege isn’t all it seems and Trent has his secrets and his regrets. When the first string punter position opens up, along with a full scholarship, Trent sees his opportunity to coach Cordy and earn a second chance to win her heart. But Cordy, no matter how attracted she still is to him, is not willing to go down that heartbreaking road again. Trent will have to break out all his moves on and off the field to win her back. I loved the past and present story telling, revealing their history and the reasons Trent had for walking away from Cordy. I liked how their relationship grew slowly to allow Cordy to learn to trust Trent and to endear both of them to us. Trent and Cordy are great together. They were both smart, charming, and competitive and their chemistry is red-hot. There are wonderful secondary friends, family, and adversaries that give this story a depth I hadn’t anticipated. The football sequences add a good amount of fun and excitment as well. This is a fast paced story with several plot twists that keep you turning the pages. Kick had the perfect blend of an engaging and sexy story, witty banter, multifaceted characters and lots of steamy passion, and I loved every moment of it!
This was pretty good. I liked that it wasn’t like your typical sports romance. Trent is so sweet through out the whole book. It’s Cordy that has some serious hate fire towards him. It was cool that she’s a kicker, that’s pretty bad ass. There was quite a bit of football stuffs in the story, I’m not a huge fan so I did gloss over some of that. So yeah, I enjoyed it!
