In order to save their future, they must overcome their past. Now that the mission to save the ruler of Ketaurrios is over, Celeste and her friends have been ordered to remain as guests in his home until the antidote they’d obtained purges the deadly toxin from his system. After days of waiting, Celeste is impatient to return to the human settlement and decides a visit to his quarters, a quick … visit to his quarters, a quick thank you, and an even shorter good-bye to the man she’s never met should be all she needs to appease him and be on her way. What she didn’t expect to find is the man who stole her heart, the one she thought she could trust to protect her family during the war—a broken promise which resulted in their deaths.
Khyron is a warrior and the leader of his people. The war might be over but the past, in the form of a beautiful human female with flowing dark hair, haunts his thoughts and his dreams. Soon after waking from a healing induced sleep, he discovers Celeste is still alive and, once she realizes who he is, flees the city.
He doesn’t care if his life is in danger from those who will do anything to keep him from uniting the humans and his people, or that leaving the protection of his home is inadvisable. He is determined to find Celeste and make amends for his mistakes, then claim the only female on the planet who makes his tail twitch and bears the intoxicating scent of his mate.
When a new threat stalks Khyron and Celeste, can they overcome their past and reunite in order to fight for their future?

WOW!!!! What else is there to say. This was a really HOT story, and you will be missing out if you do not read it. I could not put it down it was that good!
This is the second book in the series, there is a story running through both these books, so I advise everyone to read book 1 first. This installment concentrates on the romance between Celeste and Khyron. They are attracted to each other and they are fated mates. Celeste has lost her family in the war and blames Khyron for this, refusing to hear his side of the story. They both continue to face danger as Khyron attempts to find and explain things to Celeste. The world building is great, and the characters are likable and interesting. This is a well-written book and this series is getting better the more I read.

Loved Khyron and Celeste, great second chance romance
Celeste and Khyron met at the beginning of the war. Khyron knew Celeste was his ketiorra. He had every intention of claiming her. He enjoyed knowing Celeste cared for him and not who he was. The war pulled them spa before he could stake his claim.
His father dead. Khyron critically injured and having to become leader of his people. Word reached him that Celeste and her family were lost in the war.
Celeste blamed Khyron for the loss of her family. Now reunited, she needs closure. Her friends urge her to give him a chance. They see how he feels about her and he hasn’t told his side of the story.
Loved Khyron and Celeste. Their story is fast paced, a little steamy. They are going to be a great team in bring Khyron’s father’s vision of integration to reality. Can’t wait for Slone, and Cara’s stories
Khyron’s Claim by Rayna Tyler is the second book in the Kettaurran Warriors series. In this book, Celeste has just returned from a mission to get the antidote for a toxin that has infected the Kettaurran leader. When Celeste goes to visit the leader she discovers it is Khyron the man who she loved but left her. She decides to leave immediately and soon thereafter Khyron wakes up and immediately follows Celeste. This alien romantic adventure is an exciting read with lots of suspense and excitement. It’s a very entertaining read. Khyron’s Claim is an exciting alien adventure romance.

WOW!!! I loved it. A lot going on but the most fun is when the women start challenging the males. The wit and play is fun and the males are learning to not discount the women. Awesome story I can’t wait until the next one. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.

Well worth reading!
The second book in the Ketaurran Warriors series I hope there is going to be more in this series. Khyron a warrior and the leader of his people and Celeste a human’s story kept me turning pages the story flows smoothly from one page to the other. A great storyline with suspense, drama, danger, a human villain, twists, turns, evil Luzardees, an albino ketaurran male called Rygael, who I hope gets his own story, and there is romance. I could not put this book down until I finished reading it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Super exciting book. Loved all the character. The human women were quite good at taking care of themselves and the Ketaurran males had to back off of the over protection when with their mates. There was so much action and adventure in this story. The children were a great addition to this story. I highly recommend this book. Khyron has left Celeste and promised to return to her because he realized she was his fated mate, but he couldn’t return. However many years later turned up again because she was on a team to rescue the leader which was him. Their journey was filled with fighting enemies for their lives as well as fighting each other. Will they get their HEA? Good intriguing read

Celeste had been sensing danger for several days now, yet nothing seemed out of place. She and her four friends were houseguests in the home of the Drezdarr, the leader of the Ketaurran people, impatient to return to the human settlement. They had gone on a rescue mission after a kidnapped physician and returned him and an antidote to save the Drezdarr’s life. They were not allowed to leave until he woke from the sleep-induced healing process and could allegedly thank them. Now feeling confined, edgy, and impatient, Celeste decided to sneak into his room, let him thank her, and go home! The room was dim, but when she neared the bed, despite the passage of years, she recognized him! He had abandoned her, broken her heart, and allowed her family to die! Apparently he had also neglected to tell her he was a member of the ruling family! Along with the anger, she felt emptiness and regret as she unwound his tail from around her leg and left the room.
Khyron was dreaming of a painful time in his life when, during the war initiated by Sarus, he suffered through his sire’s death and received the news that Celeste and her entire family had been slaughtered by some of Sarus’s men. He moaned out loud at her loss, but then heard her soft voice, smelled her scent and felt her fingers stroking his scales – and he wrapped his tail around her legs. Her presence comforted him until her angry voice and her fingers unwinding his tail from her legs brought back his pain. When he woke, Vurell was there – but why did he still smell her scent in the air if she had only been his imagination? She had been his ketiorra, the one female he could claim as a mate. Vurell told him she had been there, and nothing would keep him from seeing her again!
Khyron finds that the angry Celeste left with her friend, Cara, as they head back home to the human settlement. However, they are attacked by the mercs. Khyron had begun to search for her and finds her. But she thinks he betrayed her – will she listen to him? Can she forgive him and the two of them rebuild their relationship? Are they willing to face all threats against them together?
This was a very enjoyable book. The descriptions and dialog made the story feel quite real and the characters were believable. Grab your copy and see if the two of them can get back together and regain the love they thought was lost.
This is book two in the Ketaurran Warriors Series and involves Khyron and Celeste’s second chance at love and life. The story is interesting and definitely has some strong characters. Good read.

This is the second book in the series. It’s the first one I’ve read and I would have preferred to read book 1 before this. I didn’t get lost but there is some backstory that is covered in this story that I would have enjoyed reading. Next on my list is Book 1. This book is about missed opportunities and a second chance. Khyron and Celeste had been in love before the war. It’s just by chance that they meet now, but Celeste takes a look and runs. Khyron of course follows. There are bad guys but they were a minor part of the story. This was more about the two finding a way back to each other. There is an overall story arc that I’m very interested in and will be looking forward to the next book (after I pick up Book 1). (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
Khyron, the new king, lost his love a few years ago only to smell her scent as he is recovering from a poison attempt. Celeste, thinking her love was one who broke promises is found a live and recovering from an threat on her life. Both needing to survive without the other only to collide into rediscovery.
Great great book with character from previous non cliffhangers, new HEA and the promise of another adventure.

This is the second book written in this series the first is “Jardun’s Embrace”. You don’t have to read it but I recommend it so you know the characters more in this story. Jardun found the doctor that was held by the mercs and the toxin that was used to poison the Drezdarr. They are all staying at the Drezdarr’s home until the Drezdarr recovers because the Drezdarr wants to see Celeste and her friends to thank them. Impatient waiting to be summoned, Celeste sneaks into the Drezdarr room which he’s resting and realizes that the Drezdarr is a ex who she knows as Khyron who abandon her during the war. Angry she leaves and with her friend Cara and they go back home to the settlement but along the way they get ambushed by mercs. Meanwhile Khyron wakes up and scents Celeste and starts looking for her only to find out she left and goes after her. They find the damaged ship and trace a trail that leads to the settlement. When Khyron finally meets Celeste who is his ketiorra, can they put the past behind and start over? The second book has more in-depth about the characters and the people who live in the settlement than the action. I liked the introduction of the children and Fuzzball and their connection to Celeste. The romance and the interaction between Celeste and Khyron was spot on. Overall a enjoyable story to read and review via Booksprout. ARC
