It’s no secret that me and love don’t mix. Not after it schemed to rip my heart out and leave me a single father. The biggest question I have is what to do with forever now that my wife is gone.As much as I hate it, it’s time for a break from my famous life.A year off to spend time with my little girl is what the doctor ordered.Giggles, smiles, and tons of ice cream for the two of us.And somehow, … tons of ice cream for the two of us.
And somehow, the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen runs the ice-cream parlor.
But getting involved isn’t a choice. Not even when my little girl falls head over heels for this woman that’s stealing my every thought.
No matter how much I want to give up everything for the curvy girl that’s rocking my world day and night.
She deserves far more than me, but I’m just selfish enough to want to deny her another lover.
To take up residence in her heart and stay.
It gets even more serious when I find myself playing her fake boyfriend to her uppity mother.
It’s a part I’d love to play daily.
The promise of healing, love, and a big family have me running fast and hard because that same question plays over and over again…
What if fate takes her away too?
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

These kind of stories are always so hard for me to read.
The emotions they bring forth are heartbreaking yet just the small promise of happiness keeps me reading long into the night.
As with any book I have read by this author, I found myself deeply involved in the outcome and it was a humbling feeling to have had the pleasure to read an ARC.
I feel in love with our main characters and secretly had palpitations, tears, and butterflies.
I can’t articulate the how much I love this author and the writing style.
All I can say is that I highly recommend this book along with others I have read in the past.
Tiffany is a curvy young woman who is determined to keep her ice cream parlour in business – but it isn’t easy. Then, one day, an adorable little girl, called Winter, and her gorgeous dad, Callen a widower and rock star, stop by for some ice cream to brighten their day. They are taking a break from the ‘world’ as they make time for each other. Now Callen isn’t looking for someone to replace his dead wife nor provide a mum for Winter, but Tiffany certainly makes his heart beat faster and begin to think of the future with her firmly embedded in their family. Attraction between them is in abundance and Winter dearly loves Tiffany and the feeling is mutual. This is a story that the reader can easily fall in love with the characters. It is a sweet storyline which is believable and enjoyable to read. It is a very readable story and well written by Weston Parker. It’s another one of his books that you just won’t want to put down till you reach the very end [but then, just maybe, you’ll read it again!]. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended.
This was a great well written story with a hurt man and the woman who helps heals him and his child. I volunteered to read this arc for my honest opinion
Callen and Tiffeny’s story is emotional, and beautiful. Callen, a single Dad, is a wonderful character. Tiffeny is a lovely character, honest, caring and loving. They are great together, and they share an instant attraction, and a strong and sizzling chemistry. Winter, Callen’s three year old daughter, is so cute! I loved, Clark and Julia and I would love to know more about them. I love the heartwarming happy ending. I enjoyed it!
OMG….click…click..click it today!! I just loved this second chance romance that’s filled with such emotion hurts, healing and love. Callen, his daughter, Winter and Tiffany’s story kept me turning the pages. The storyline definitely is intriguing, all the characters have great chemistry and the drama will draw you in. A job well done by Weston.

KEEPING SECRETS By Weston Parker
I loved this story! So much so that I would like to see Callen, Tiffeny and Winter in an updated story, sometime down in the future. I was totally invested in these two and this story. Weston delivers so much heart, soul, passion, in his writing. Congrats Weston! This is a 5 star story, but I wish it could be more!!
What a touching, sweet and heartfelt story! This might be my new favorite from this writer. It completely captivated me and I could not put it down. This is Callen, Tiffeny and adorable Winter’s story. You will fall in love with all three of them. Callen has been through a lot and your heart breaks for him but he is trying to do everything he can for his little girl. Tiffeny walks into their lives and makes a huge difference. Great story!!
I’ve read my fair share of Weston Parker’s books and i’m impressed with the consistency of his stories; each book feels fresh and new, I’m always pulled into the story almost from the start, and the character development is great. This time we get single dad Callen (and his precious baby girl Winter), and ice cream shop owner Tiffeny. The first few interactions between Callen and Tiffeny are awkward yet adorkable at the same time, and I loved the chemistry between them. They’ve both got issues in their personal lives that have shaped them into the characters we meet at the start of the book, and I enjoyed seeing them work through the issues and seeing if and how they would reach their HEA.
This book is amazing, Callen is a grieving widower and a single father, Tiffeny a small ice cream shop owner. With a few bumps along the way and both having a past it was fun to see how this played out. An interesting storyline and great characters, I loved this!!
Once again Weston Parker delivered a beautiful story, written with an absolute love and determination.
Keeping Secrets is such a heartwarming yet heartbreaking story where the past is trying to destroy the future of 2 people in love.
The story takes you through a journey full of emotions such as grief, fear, guilt, anxiety, happiness but mostly love.
Will this two characters survive the agonizing battle between then and now? Or will they let tragedy consumed their last hope to love and being loved again?
As always Weston gives us an outstanding book, i highly recommend it.
Rock star romances are not my favorite but Weston definitely knows how to pull you in with interesting storyline and great, relatable characters.
Tiffeny and Callen had a great chemistry from the start. Their story is filled with emotions and learning how to give love another chance after loss. There is a bit of drama and some unexpected twists. But in the end, Tiffeny and Callen found their perfect and heartwarming HEA.
And now I hope their friends will have a story also!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I was hooked from the start! I loved Callen right from the beginning, his heart, his pain, his love for his daughter… amazing! There was the perfect amount of emotion, sweetness and heat. Tiffeny is a strong, smart woman that caught my attention. They have a great connection and will take you on a ride. My heart twisted for them both and the ups and downs they experienced. Winter, Callen’s daughter is adorable and I loved her. This is such a great read and I am hoping we get more from his best friend Clark and her best friend Julia. There was definitely a spark there!
Single dad whose a rock star on break and in hiding. I love single dad’s who puts their child first. He’s got an opportunity at a second great love on his life. She’s got her own baggage and insecurities. A couple I enjoyed and rooting for.
Single dad Small town and takes place small beach community. A new favorite for me by Weston Parker.
*I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
Callen was grieving his wife Alice’s death and trying to raise his baby girl, Winter while traveling with a band. His little daughter came first and he was a wonderful father. He shunned the typical rock star lifestyle of drugs and sex. He knew he must get off the ‘road tour’ and settle down somewhere with his daughter and give her a more normal life. He chose Myrtle Beach, SC because it was a place his late wife loved. Fate brought them together with a beautiful ice cream shop owner named Tiffeny. She was perfect for them and the chemistry between her and Callen was explosive. There was so much drama and lots of twists. They definitely took me on an emotional roller coaster. Callen still suffers from his wife’s death and guilt over replacing her. The book is well written with strong well developed major and minor characters. The book is a page-turner and hard to put down once you begin reading. No spoiler here but it will keep you guessing as you make your way to a beautiful ending. I read an arc copy for the author and voluntarily chose to write a review. This is one book you don’t want to miss as Weston Parker doesn’t disappoint.
Callen is a musician/songwriter in a rock band. He has a three year old daughter he’s been raising alone since his wife died from cancer. Deciding he needs a change he packs up his daughter and moves from L.A. to a new town on the other side of the US. There he meets Tiffany the owner of a small ice cream shop.
This was a well written story with great characters and interesting storyline. Callen and Tiffany both had emotional issues to overcome but they were great together and had amazing chemistry. The story was emotional, had drama, sweetness, romance and steam.
I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
This is one of his best stories yet. The characters made you feel ever emotion that they had through the story. They make you cry and break your heart for what they have to deal with. A wonderfully painted story with emotions. I can’t wait to see what comes next from Weston.
This was one of my all time favorite omes. They story was so heartwarming and sincere that it had me crying halfway through it and up till the last chapter. This one really broke my heart for what they all had to overcome. I this that we need to see the rest of the characters play out. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
Loved this story. This story is about Tiffany and Callan. She owns an ice cream shop and Callan is a successful rock star on hiatus. They bump into each other at the day care where he intends to enroll his daughter and their meeting is very awkward and that awkwardness carries on. They both have emotional issues to overcome and it takes time for trust to build. They both have a past that is driving them and letting it go isn’t easy. A nice, easy pleasure read. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from the author
I really enjoyed this story! Callen and Tiffeny‘s story pulled at my heartstrings and kept me burning through the pages! A beautifully written story. I received this book at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
Omg this book was absolutely fantastic and a emotional rollercoaster ride. It will suck you in from the beginning until the end. Cullen lost his wife not to long after giving birth to their daughter winter and pretty much lived his life for her and music and the band, but when things happened it’s time to settle down but what he didn’t expect was to have those feelings of thinking about another woman until he sees Tiffany but will he give into them or will he continue to live in the past and raise his daughter all alone for the rest of his life? Tiffany doesn’t believe theres a man out there for her but she meets Cullen she wonders if she has a shot or will she end up alone? I loved this books and all the different emotions that connect with you and loved winter. Congratulations Weston Parker on another Fantastic Book.
