This was my first book by Denise. My goodness did I want to ring Kat’s neck sometimes. I get the situation but HELLO we are talking about Brad here. Who wouldn’t want him by their side. I love how I always wanted to know what’s next and could never put it down but had to. I can’t wait to read the book.
My emotions ran the gambit with this well written romantic comedy!!!! Kat and Brad were hilarious!!!!! I loved the push and pull and twist and turns!!!! I can’t wait to read more from Denise Wells!!!!
This is a funny, sad, inspiring, hopeful introduction to San Soloman and the friends. This is Kat’s story; she’s in remission at the moment from another cancer treatment, and the story tells about Brad’s determination to win her back – and her involvement with the police department, Bauer, and the apparently “innocuous” case they start off investigating that turns very nasty. Oddly, I read this book last in the series, and it was so good to see this story happening. It’s another fabulous story from Denise Wells.
This book wrecked me! I mean that in a good way. The story was complex, well developed, had me on an emotional rollercoaster, and had incredible characters. Once you read about Kat Walker’s character, I dare you not to be a sobbing mess. The situations she has gone through and continues to go through are just heartbreaking. Brady’s character is supportive, loving, determined and sexy (firefighter). Chance’s character adds some levity when needed, but is also gritty and determined to catch the perp. The supporting characters are wonderful and really balance the main ones. The plot and subplot are beautifully interwoven to create an absolutely fantastic read. Highly recommend. Look forward to reading more of this series.

I really enjoyed this book.
It was funny and sweet.
I read this one first as it is a arc but I will definitely be reading the first
One now.
I will be recommending this book.
This was such an amazing story. I felt like there was like three to four different stories going on and I absolutely loved it. It was a super easy fast read for me, I didn’t want to put it down. I love Kat and her friends, plus her sexy not ex firefighter.
Full of drama, mystery, and steam, Keeping Kat is an emotional page turner with a swoonworthy hero who knows that he and the heroine belong together.
Wow what a roller coaster ride of emotions this book was to read. I loved all the characters in this storyline they all connected to each in one way or the other.

An interesting premise that captured my attention and I chose to read based on it. The author crafted a story that was slightly over the top with some of her actions and thought processes. But maybe someone would react if given that type of news. The ups and downs of her likability made it a struggle to read but I was glad I read this book in the end.
This is beautiful story focused on love and a second chance.
It is the type of story that clutches you at once and does not release you until you get to the end – then you find yourself pining over the fact that the book has ended.
I loved how the relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected.

This book has all kinds of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages. Kat has cancer and because she does not want the love of her life (Brad) to suffer through this dreaded disease she breaks up with him. Over time she starts to win over her cancer while working with the police on a case. Meanwhile Brad only wants Kat back in his life if he can just convince her that they belong together no matter what they have to fight together.
This is a well written book with strong realistic characters and an interesting story. The author does a great job building the story and had me glued to the pages with all the suspense and twists and turns along the way. It’s an entertaining story with steamy scenes and a bit of humor. The story moves fluidly and I enjoyed reading.
