USA Today & Amazon Top Ten best-selling author Harloe Rae delivers a new standalone romance where opposites attract and the lines of friendship are blurred beyond recognition.“Will you help me remember?”That’s the second thing I ask the stranger hovering just outside of my hospital room. To me, Decker Fredric is another nameless face in the crowd. To him, I’m a forgotten girl he hasn’t seen … a forgotten girl he hasn’t seen in years. But he agrees to be my crutch through the fog as if we were once friends.
Everything is a blank canvas spreading far and wide in front of me. Any direction I take, my steps stumble over the unknown. Decker becomes the only reliable constant in my life. I lean on him too hard, but he doesn’t seem to mind. His unwavering patience and guidance restore some semblance of normal I don’t recall having.
My attraction to Decker is instant, but he appears indifferent. Until the day his stare holds a bit too much heat. In return, I dare to let my touch linger. Our hugs cling tighter than a simple embrace should. But we have no business defying the distinct line cutting between us.
Decker Fredric was never mine to keep. But that doesn’t stop me from wanting him to be.

Keeper had me hooked from the prologue and once I started I couldn’t stop. I flew through this addictive and compelling story
The book starts after a horrific incident happens to Delaney that lands her in hospital in the town of Silo Springs where she grew up in but left as a teenager. After it is explained to her that she is suffering from retrograde amnesia and will never regain her memories she is left feeling lost and alone. She was such a strong and kind character with an air of sweetness and innocence about her.
When she meets Decker, who recognises her from his high school days, she clings on to the hope that he will help guide her in regaining her life and provide her with memories of her former life. Having not being able to believe his old crush has returned Decker agrees to help Delaney. Decker was a slightly broody alpha type who is so incredibly caring, patient and protective
Delaney and Decker had amazing chemistry and I loved watching their fun and flirty friendship slowly turn into more. Decker was the highlight of this story for me and I couldn’t help but swoon over him alongside Delaney.
I highly reccomend this story for anyone who loves small town romances with a bit of suspense added in
When LJ Shen recommends, you take the book & YOU READ IT !

Promise you’ll remember that you’re mine
Baby can you see through the tears?”

What’s this book about? (I’m trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
Delaney wakes up from a coma and doesn’t remember anything from her past. Forgotten and alone, she finds solace in Decker who discovers her by accident in the hospital.
This is my first Harloe Rae read. I picked it up after the cover caught my attention and LJ Shen praised it on one of her pages. I DO NOT REGRET THAT DECISION.
That prologue… It’s a very strong introduction to the book. I was awfully disgusted by it. Delaney had my attention and empathy right away. As the story advances, we experience the world from two POVs, Delaney’s and Decker’s. I enjoyed both visions A LOT, however, Delaney’s was a touch more amusing since she needed a refresher of her memory. The characters are lovely and they have undeniable chemistry. Decker’s attempts to deny his feelings for a certain girl were so HILARIOUS. Erik for president! The story was an easy read for me and a definitive page-turner, finishing it in almost one go. I rooted for Delaney and Decker from the get go. The last chapters were a tough emotional ride and almost triggering to me (AND I DON’T GET TRIGGERED; I READ MUCH DARKER STUFF THAN THIS AND I DON’T GET TRIGGERED!) because I felt so much for Delaney. She truly didn’t deserve what happened to her. I loved this story and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be swept away on this sweet and at times bitter (parents!) ride.
Harloe Rae delivered yet again! I can’t even begin to describe the words for this book. If you’ve read Harloe’s work before, then you know just how hard these books can hit.
Keeper is the story of Delaney and Decker and it is everything I wanted in a book and more. I was literally on the edge of my seat with anticipation as I watched the story unfold before me. I was obsessed with Breaker when it came out and Keeper just pulled me into this world even more than I was and I can’t even be mad at that. I thought that book broke me, Keeper tore me apart and then put me back together again.
I absolutely loved everything about how Decker was with Delaney. And with everything she went through, coming through what she did and still being so brave, it speaks so many volumes on the kind of woman she is. And Decker is that swoony alpha bad boy protector that you can’t help but fall in love with him, even from the very beginning when he isn’t sure what the heck he is doing.
Harloe brought these characters to life and made it as though I was right there, experiencing every moment with them as they went through it all. I felt every emotion, every detail formed the picture in my mind, allowing me to truly visualize the world she put together with such intricate detail.
If you haven’t yet dove in to this world, you don’t have to read Breaker before Keeper, as they are both standalone novels, but you will definitely want to dive in by the time it is all said and done.
Five beautiful stars to this emotionally driven romance novel that will have you wanting more, even after it’s all said and done.
Keeper is a standalone with a HEA. This was a sweet, slow-burn, small town romance with a
plot twist and a touch of suspense.
Decker Frederic is a bearded, tattooed bad boy with a past that he isn’t proud of but he’s trying to do better. Back in high school, he always had a thing for Delaney but he knew she’d never look his way. She was a good girl and he was a bad boy. Besides, Delaney would never look his way. Fast forward 5 years and a chance meeting presents a unusual opportunity for him to help Delaney. He isn’t convinced that he’s the man for the job, but Delaney isn’t taking no for an answer.
Delaney Wallace is beautiful, smart, and popular in high school. She moves away and no one has heard from her since. That is until one day Decker finds her in a most unusual place. Delaney is recovering from head trauma and now has amnesia. She needs his help but he isn’t sold on the idea. Against his better judgment, he agrees to help. This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship and so much more.
This was so many emotions in this book. It will definitely tug on the heartstrings but also steam up your readers. The characters were endearing. I loved Decker. He was so swoony, sexy, and protective. Basically everything you’re looking for in a book boyfriend. Delaney has been through so much but she is determined and strong. I loved their chemistry and watching their love story unfold. This story has more than meets the eye. The action starts from page one and the story unfolds from there. There are aspects that will leave you surprised and your heart pounding. Overall, a good read with a beautiful love story.

Holy Hotness Decker!!!
Rae always brings her A game, and Keeper is no different. I’m so in love with this story. It’s made it’s way to my top faves of friends to lovers.
Delaney is one of my favorite female leads from Rae. Such a strong, resilient woman, who is faced with unthinkable tragedy. They way she handled herself and her life after that, is truly amazing. I could never imagine facing what Dell has.
I always love a Harloe Rae book, and Keeper was no different. Its definitely a Keeper
This story starts out with a cloud of mystery…
After a traumatic experience Dalainey wakes up in the hospital with no memory. By chance she encounters Deck and starts to piece her life back together again.
Deck never expected to see Dalainey again. But after agreeing to help her with a fresh start, they become extremely chose. Something about her triggers Deck’s fiercely protective side.
This is a very serious storyline and may cause triggers for some readers. That being said, it’s an incredible story with a great ending.
Harloe is the queen of wordsmithery – is that even a word? And if not, can we get that patented just for her? The best at swoon and aww, and she just continues to get even more amazing with each book!
Decker and Delaney are epic! This opposites attract, friends to lovers with a little bit of suspense will woo you all the way to the end. I was sad to leave them, but so looking forward to what comes next!
I live for romances that fill my bookish heart with feels, but leave me smiling and Keeper by Harloe Rae is exactly that and so much more.
Delaney and Decker were so freaking perfect! These two are what a couple meant to be looks likes. Their bond and affection was so strong and never falters even when Decker wasn’t really admitting it himself. Gah, that man is just book boyfriend perfection. Can I please get one of those in my size? *le swoon* I rooted for these two from the get go and seeing them navigate away from their pasts and into each other’s arms was just the best.
If you’re in the mood for a sweet and swoony romance with just the right amount of feels and steam then Keeper is a total must read! 5 stars.
I loved Decker & Delaney’s story! Intense romance with all the feels & an element of mystery that had me flying through the pages. One click now!
Man oh man I have to say that Decker is definitely a keeper! This book was quite interesting. My heart broke with the prologue. No one should have to deal with what Delaney had been dealing with. And we don’t even know how bad it was because we only get a glimpse. This girl has been though so much but in hind sight losing her memories was probably a good thing. It must suck having to start all over. But she also got to experience things all over again for the “first” time. It was fun “seeing” everything through her eyes. Decker constantly had me smiling. He had such a bad boy attitude but no matter what he said he truly wasn’t all that bad. He fought his attraction to Delaney so hard but it was inevitable they would get together, there was no denying their chemistry. This was a great book though at times I felt like it was a little drawn out. I kept waiting for the big climax to happen. Then when it did it kind of fell flat. Loved that these two got their HEA. They both deserved it. I love that Dell got a fresh, brighter start too. If a person has to start over it’s better to start off better, stronger, and happier than anything else. Looking forward to seeing what more this amazing author has in store for us. *I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book and this is my honest and unbiased review.*
Keeper is a super swoony, friends to lovers romance, that I just adored. My very first read by this author and I was just captivated by it.
Decker is a man that can’t be ignored. His charm, protectiveness, and crazy good looks have you melting into a puddle on the floor. When he takes charge he leaves me panting with need like no other.
Delaney carries a strength that I envy. Shes endured something so tragic and is left with that hefty reminder. She determined to turn things around this time around. And Decker may just be the medicine that she needs to make that happen.
An entertaining ride from beginning to end that makes you addicted and starving for more!

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.
I think that I may be the odd man out on this one but this book didn’t pull me in like I was hoping it would. That’s not to say that I didn’t like the book because I did like it. I just didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. So don’t let me three-and-a-half-star-rating fool you into thinking that I didn’t enjoy the book.
The first thing that I liked about the book was the beautiful writing style. I was so impressed with the narrative and the way that the author brings the characters to life with words. The style was so smooth and so easy to read. I really enjoyed it.
The characters in the story are portrayed really well. I thought that Delaney had much more character development then Decker’s character but they both have some nice growth. I really enjoyed getting to know each of them. I really loved all the secondary characters and I hope that the author decides to eventually write some stories centered around them.
The romance felt really spectacular in this story. I loved the shift from friends to lovers. Delaney and Decker had such a passionate relationship and you could feel the love between them.
The thing that I didn’t mess with about the book is the story. There was just something about it that I didn’t really connect with. Many parts of the story felt very boring to me and more like I was trudging through them. I wish this hadn’t been the case because everything else was so wonderful. For whatever reason, this story just didn’t work for me in a general sense but I still enjoyed the story for the most part.
I definitely recommend this book. The author’s impeccable writing alone is well worth the read. I may not have enjoyed the story itself but that just boils down to personal preference. Everything else about this story was top-notch to me and I am honestly excited to read more from this author.
Loved the setup of their story. Dealing with the challenging C loss of all prior memories, Delaney embarks on a journey to recover who she is. Only she gets far more than she bargained for with the addition of Decker. The draw they had to one another was well written and kept me entertained with their friendly yet passion laced banter.
Lost and confused, Delaney bonds with Decker while discovering bits of who she WAS and embracing the new and improved version of who she IS. The possession and love from these two gives you all the feels.
This is definitely a feel good story with a turn that you probably anticipate, but when it happens, it knocks you of kilter. No matter, it was a fun and sexy story to read. Definitely can’t get enough of this Silo Springs Crew.
This is the first time I have read any thing from this author, and I thought this was a great intro, I found the book both entertaining, and enjoyable, and I’m happy to have another author on my list.
This is the story of Decker, and Delaney, once old classmate, Decker finds Delaney in a hospital, with no memory. Unsure of who she is, she clings to Decker, as the one person who seems to be a connection to her past. This was an interesting read, the characters are well written, and this story intrigued me. This book was sweet, and sexy, a roller coaster of emotions, with some mystery, and suspense.
Keeper by Harloe Rae had me hooked right from the start. This was a second chance romance with a twist and will keep you captivated. When Decker and Delaney are reunited years after they last saw each other, she has no memories and Decker is there to help her. So begins their story. Though Delaney had no memories, she was strong and resilient. Decker was absolutely amazing. He was caring, protective and strong, which is what Delaney needed. I loved the characters and their story so much. It was sweet and charming and just drew me in.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
5 star Review Keeper by Harloe Rae
Harloe Rae is a relatively new author to me. This was such an unusual story that I jumped at the chance to read and review. Keeper is a second chance at love story for Decker Fredric and Delaney Wallace
It was a well written love story that drew me in; I loved the suspense which added to my enjoyment. Delany has no memories, a blank canvas if you will and until she meets Decker, who tells her they were friends in school, she has no links to her past.
As Decker becomes her go to person, Delaney builds up her confidence. I loved Decker, totally swoon worthy. Delaney is sweet and adrift, trying to muddle through her life; she is strong and determined and I admired her.
The chemistry and connection between them is intense and I enjoyed the build up. This was an entertaining, emotional roller coaster read, heart warming with a slow build and I was riveted from the first to the last chapter.
5 KEEPER STARS!! Wow, this story was amazing!! Decker and Delaney were perfection and will touch every inch of your heart. This story will keep you flipping pages….I could not put this book down. You definitely need to read this book.
Love this book. Couldn’t put it down. These characters are so good together. It just pulled me and kept me there. I felt like party of the story.
Delaney and Decker went to school together but lost touch. When they unexpectedly meet up, it’s a chance for a fresh start for both but is this a good thing?
This had a completely different vibe than I was expecting! The cover and description make it sound like an intense and emotional read, but it’s much more a story of starting over, second chances, and finding love when you least expect it. I’ll admit that it took a little while to wrap my head around the storyline and get invested in the characters, but the writing is solid and the premise is interesting so it’s definitely a worthwhile read. It’s got some sexiness but also a slow burn, and features a somewhat reformed bad boy who finally gets his girl.
The story follows Delaney, a young woman who wakes up with no memories and no one to help her understand how she got that way – or what kind of life she was leading before the amnesia. When an old classmate happens upon her in the hospital, Delaney clings to him like a lifeline. Decker is hesitant to get involved for his own reasons, but he can’t resist the woman who seems so alone in the world – especially since he had a huge crush on her growing up. He was trouble back then and never considered himself good enough for Delaney, but he becomes her rock as she begins to lead a whole new life.
While this didn’t grip me the way I would’ve liked, I enjoyed it all the way through. These two begin as friends and develop into more, though the attraction is there the whole time. I loved Decker and how patient he was with Delaney as she finds her way. The tone stays mostly light with touches of suspense, and a few sexy times along the way. Though it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for, it’s a solid read and I would not hesitate to read more from the author. I received an ARC via Candi Kane PR (then purchased it for my collection) and am voluntarily leaving a review of this sexy, second chance (at life and love) romance.
