USA Today & Amazon Top Ten best-selling author Harloe Rae delivers a new standalone romance where opposites attract and the lines of friendship are blurred beyond recognition.“Will you help me remember?”That’s the second thing I ask the stranger hovering just outside of my hospital room. But he agrees to be my crutch through the fog as if we were once friends.
Everything is a blank canvas spreading far and wide in front of me. Any direction I take, my steps stumble over the unknown. Decker becomes the only reliable constant in my life. I lean on him too hard, but he doesn’t seem to mind. His unwavering patience and guidance restore some semblance of normal I don’t recall having.
My attraction to Decker is instant, but he appears indifferent. Until the day his stare holds a bit too much heat. In return, I dare to let my touch linger. Our hugs cling tighter than a simple embrace should. But we have no business defying the distinct line cutting between us.
Decker Fredric was never mine to keep. But that doesn’t stop me from wanting him to be.

Wow.
This amazing book blew me away.
Harloe delivered a heart warming, swoon inducing story that gave me all the feels and had me completely smitten.

This story smacked you in the face with love and devotion. It was full of intense love from the moment Decker and Dell met. He saved her – protected her and gave her a fresh start, but that’s not why she stayed though – their connection was instant and it bought out the best in both of them. If your after a heart felt lovey dovey book – this is for you. I also loved the few twists and turns this book delivered.
I LOVED Delaney and Deck so freaking much. I laughed. I swooned. I swooned some more.
“I’ll bring on the swoon for you, Dell….”
Oh my me!! This story brings all my favorite things in romance! You get swoons, heart, heat, a bit of angst and an alpha hero that borders on obsessive! I flove it!
This story of Delaney and Decker.
Delaney is literally starting over. After a horrific tragedy, she is almost born again. She is trying to figure out her way in her new world and a chance meeting with someone from her past is the beautiful new beginning to friendship and more.
Decker is all sorts of swoony. He has had a burning torch for Delaney for years but has never had the guts to take it further. Then when fate brings them back together, he pulls out all the stops to make Delaney his.
The secondary characters are phenomenal and bring so much more to this story. If you have read any of Ms. Rae’s previous books you will see past characters make appearances, but don’t let that deter you! This can totally be read as a stand-alone and should be read!
I absolutely loved this story! Trust me, you will too!
This story was such a great and original story that the prologue sucked me in and I couldn’t stop reading until I was finished with the book. Delaney has been through so much and to wake up alone with no memory of her past was such a heartbreaking thing, then to add to her tragedy her own mother would not even visit or have anything to do with her so Delaney was truly all alone not knowing who she was. Decker was the absolute most perfect book boyfriend I have had the pleasure to read about. Seriously, I thought Grady in Breaker was my man, but Decker has proudly claimed his spot. Decker was a guy that had a past of getting in trouble and not having a care in the world, he always had a crush on Delaney so when he sees her after years in a hospital bed crying he can’t help but to be drawn back to her. Delaney and Decker automatically have chemistry and they fight their attractions for a long time because they are building a beautiful friendship, but a great friendship is the perfect base for a blooming relationship, so I was on the sideline cheering these two on. This story was a beautiful one that took us on a journey of not letting the past define us and learning to start from scratch to build the life we want not the one we thought we should have. I loved everything about Delaney from her brutally honest opinions with no filter to her natural beauty and personality. Once these two decide they can’t just be “pals” all bets are off and they hit the ground running for each other and their happily ever after. I loved how the author drew us in and let us feel the pain that Delaney was going through and the hard tome Decker was having trying to be noble and give up his long time crush on the one girl who always had his heart. I absolutely can not wait for more.
I loved Dell and Decker’s story! After Dell experiences a terrible fate and comes through it without her memory she reunites with an old friend, Decker. They have great chemistry and I loved to see where their story went.
Keeper (A Friends to Lovers Standalone Romance) synopsis intrigued me and I was excited to listen. It began with a prologue which I thoroughly enjoyed. Chapter one intrigued me and I wanted to know more As I was listening something was missing. I wanted more background details on the characters and their pasts. I felt it was skimmed over and would have accentuated the story if it was included. It was a true romance and characters were compelling and their lovestory beautiful. A bit of suspense weaved into the romance. A sweet passionate and sensual listen.
Keira Stevens, Troy Duran dual naration performance brought the characters and story to reality. I enjoyed the performance
5 stars for this very original story!
Delaney moved away from the small town of Silo Springs when she was in high school. Years later as she sits in her hospital bed Decker appears in her doorway. He recognizes her immediately but she has no idea who he is. In fact she seems to recognize no one and can’t seem to recall things from her past.
Decker agrees to help her get back on her feet when she’s released from the hospital. He’s sweet, supportive, helpful, and completely smitten with her. Delaney is working hard at getting back to a new normal, but with every struggle she faces she finds herself in the comforting presence of Decker. Their dual attraction begins to blur the lines of their friendship.
I absolutely loved Decker and Delaney. Their story is sweet, original and unmistakably a must read. Want to find out if Decker gets the girl? Want to know why Delaney is having such problems with her memory? Pick up this amazing stand alone book today. While this can be read as a complete stand alone, there are some characters from the book Breaker that appear in this one. However you can absolutely read Keeper without being lost.
Wisdom of Worth: read this book”.
Delaney wakes up in hospital after having a serious head injury with no memory of what happened to her or her past. She is also completely alone with no family and friends to help with her amnesia.
Decker is in hospital visiting her mother when he sees Delaney.
“Delaney, do you remember me?”.
With Decker as an only link to the past Delaney asks him to help her remember.
Dell is strong, brave and ready to start a new life and Deck becomes a friend, guide and a protector in Dell’s new world.
It was beautiful reading how the bond and friendship they form develops into love. This is my first book from Harloe Rae and I will definitely be checking her previous work.
Harloe has done it again. I so enjoyed this second chance story. She really knows how to draw you and have you wanting so much more. I had so much fun reading Delaney and Decker’s story.
Gah! this one broke me piece by piece. Loved Keeper!
Goodness!! This book WRECKED ME! My gosh!
Delaney Wallace has no idea who she is, amnesia is a bad beast to deal with. She is lost, and vulnerable, not to mention scared and alone. It’s a tragic situation and made my heart hurt for her.
Decker Fredric is a complete and total free agent, he isn’t into serious relationships or even anything past a good time. When he sees Delaney sitting in the hospital he is shocked, to say the least. When she asks him for help remembering her life and who she is, he hesitates. This girl could wreck him, he just knows it.
The two of them have an instant connection, friendly and otherwise but both are too afraid to jump in so they just skirt around the subject pretending all is good as just friends.
These two are electric, their connection is fire and ice and all things in between. I love everything about this book. I was on an emotional rollercoaster with this one, from happy and so in love to completely wrecked! And I loved every minute of it! This is definitely in my top 10 all time favorite reads.
I’m so in love with Decker, he is the perfect combination of bad boy and loving companion, and I mean come on, he rides a Harley! Like seriously all the heart eyes!! His fire and passion are things of fantasies, and his fierce devotion is what every girl dreams of.
I can go on all day about this book, but let me just go ahead and say BUY THE BOOK. You won’t regret it!
What a way for a girl to start over!!
I really enjoyed reading this book, especially one
where there’s HEA. Dell gets to start over, she
can’t remember her life before Deck, but she wants to
remember everything afterwards. Deck brings the very
best out of her and vice versa.
Wow! This book is a stunner! Author Harloe Rae pulls out all the stops in this steamy romantic suspense. I highly recommend this book. I was thrilled that the author included characters from her previous books so that we could see how their relationships had progressed!
Decker is a devilish alpha male, bad boy with swoon worthy looks and a heart of gold on the inside.
Delaney (Dell) wakes up alone in a hospital room with no memories of her past. A chance glance into her room has Decker stopping in his tracks at the ethereal
beauty before him and inquiring about her. He’s the first person to recognize her after 2 weeks in the hospital and hope flutters in her gut. Could he help her remember?
As Decker guides Delaney through her old stomping grounds, he’s firmly placed in the friend zone until one fateful moment changes the course of their relationship.
Their all-consuming, passionate love begins to boil over and soon it feels as if nothing can come between them. But Decker can’t shake the feeling that something is amiss, lurking in the shadows.
When Delaney‘s past catches up with her, will Decker be able to save her in time? Decker’s playing for keeps, but it seems he may not be the only one interested in keeping Delaney forever.
Delaney has no memory – how horrible would that be??? I know that would freak me out. Decker remembers her though. He helps her when needed and they grow closer together. This is a slow burn and is just perfect. Decker doesn’t push even though he would love to claim her.
Delaney may not remember him but she’s beginning to know him now. He’s everything she wants but will she be able to let him know without it turning weird?
I loved how Delaney was a strong character and Decker was so sweet!!!
Delaney and Decker were so great – a case of retrograde amnesia lands Del back in her old town. Deck always had a crush on her so when he recognizes her and she turns her eyes to him to help reacquaint herself with life, he can’t refuse her.u2060

Their attraction is instant and undeniable. Deck had the hots for her for years before she moved away. The old Delaney is gone and she isn’t coming back, but he finds himself just as taken with this new Del.u2060

Delaney is moving forward with her new life, wanting to find out who she is now rather than trying to replicate the person she used to be. Part of who she wants to be now is Decker. Del’s chance at a fresh start mean they have a chance to finally be together and their relationship blooms beautifully.u2060

I loved how protective Deck was and how upbeat Del proved herself to be. These two played off of each other spectacularly – their teasing and good-natured sarcasm made their interactions hilarious to read about. Their loyalty and devotion to each other was soul-deep and worthy of all the swoons!u2060

I almost cried when I saw that book on my kindle.
After some deceptions, I decided to lower my expectations and to go through this book without expecting anything, not even liking it. And it almost convinced me when I started because the beginning didn’t make me feel something (also because there was a prologue and I’m not very fond of them). But I kept reading because I never read a book about amnesia and it’s something I’ve always intrigued with.
For some reason, I thought this book will be darker because of the cover, and I thought the hero will be some kind of arrogant jerk who was going to make me want to grit my teeth. However, during the entire book, I couldn’t stop myself my laughing and smile never faded. I fell in love with Decker as soon as he showed up and felt so proud of Delaney and her journey. Both these characters have stolen my heart in the sweetest way.
Although the prologue allows us to guess what has happened to Delaney, I didn’t want where the story and the romance will lead us. And that scared me.
The friendship between the main characters was priceless and I wished I knew a Deck. This guy, oh boy, there isn’t enough word to descript how much I love him. Despite his appearance (tattoos, beard, charming smirk, etc), Deck is sweet, caring and is always there for Delaney, even though being near her it’s the last place he wants to be. I mean, the guy even goes shopping with her, where can I find a guy like that?! And even if he doesn’t want to feel what he feels for Delaney and put her in the friend category, he doesn’t run away from her. Quite the opposite, he can’t stay away from her and doesn’t treat her like a burden but rather as if she is his whole world.
Despite her amnesia, Delaney isn’t fragile and doesn’t rely on anyone. Yes, she does need help and doesn’t hesitate to ask for but she knows not to rely too much on people, especially on Deck. Even if he would be there for her no matter what, we don’t see Delaney as weak nor as a damsel in distress; if anything she was strong enough to speak her mind and even save herself at the end. I love how gentle yet strongminded she was. She knew what she wanted and who she wanted and went for it without fear.
The secondary characters were as lovable as our MCS and I hope Erik, Deck’s bf, will get his own book because that guy was so funny. I was surprised to learn that he wanted a girlfriend and hope he’ll get his HEA.
The only I can’t give this book 5 stars (and believe me, I wanted to) was the fact that the beginning felt heavy and I had difficulties understanding what was saying (English is not my 1st language). Also, after the half, the book seems to linger a bit and I find myself skipping some part (which I hate doing it). I think there were unnecessary things that didn’t need to be told but that I did enjoy.
I will definitely read more of this author, especially if she writes Erik and Reid.

The third book of Harole’s I’ve read. I LOVED Deck and Dell! Their instant connection pulled me in. Decker’s swoon worth dedication to her… just ugh Harloe just keeps getting better!
Title: Keeper: A Friends to Lovers Standalone
Author: Harloe Rae
Narrators: Keira Stevens and Troy Duran
Reviewer: Mia Grace – Rainey Day Book Reviews
Rating: (4.5)
When Delaney Wallace wakes up in the hospital, she has no memory of her past. Decker Frederic, who happens to be visiting his mother at the very same hospital hears her cries and is immediately drawn to her. He knows her immediately. How could he ever forget the girl he crushed on all through high school? His sister’s best friend, she was beautiful, she was smart, and she was way out of his league.
No one had seen or heard from Delaney in 5 years since she up and moved away. Now she’s back in her hometown, alone and trying to navigate a world she’s not familiar with. She clings to Decker. This small town, sexy, tattooed covered bartender has become her lifeline.
This was the first book I’ve read/listened to from Harloe Rae. She drew me in immediately with the prologue, leaving me wanting more. This story is unique and well written. It’s a swoon worthy, slow burn, second chance romance.
I listened to the audio version of this book, narrated by Keira Stevens and Troy Duran. They did a great job with the narration and were enjoyable to listen to. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it and I certainly look forward to reading more from this author.
Harloe Rae has done it yet again! She has written a story that tugs at your heart strings and makes you feel all of the feels. ALL OF THE FEELS! I had chills and I mean full body chills when I read the ending of this amazing story. It was absolutely perfect. I simply adored Keeper. Honestly, this is my favorite story by Harloe Rae to date. I just wanted to keep reading more about Delaney and Decker. These two made my heart so full of giddiness and happiness. I also love the small town of Silo Springs. I’m pretty sure small town romances are my jam now.
Oh, Delaney. I adore her character. I could not imagine waking up one day and not remembering a single thing about my past. She is so strong in dealing with all of that turmoil and chaos. She took things one day at a time and tried to make the best out of a really crummy situation. I admire her strength and courage. She didn’t have a family to rely on. She really only had herself, her social worker, and the friends she made along the way. Oh, and Decker and let me tell you, she definitely had Decker. Delaney had the chance to reinvent herself and be whoever she wanted to be. And she did that. She’s spunky, passionate, full of fire, kind, smart, compassionate, and so much more. I truly believe she is who she’s meant to be now. Her character was so refreshing to read about, even with all of her heartache and confusion about starting a new life with a blank slate. She’s definitely someone to look up to. I also love her wit and sass. It’s refreshing to see a female character simply be herself.
Decker. Where do I even begin with this man? Whew! He had me swooning and rooting for him throughout the entire story. I love everything about his character. He is an alpha male with a soft heart. He loves the small town he lives in, the bar he helps run, his friends, and his family. He loves helping Delaney experience all of these new firsts (first date, first kiss, first love, and so much more). He shows her that living in a small town can still be one of the greatest adventures of a lifetime. You just need the right person to go on that adventure with. I didn’t know I could lust after a fictional character as much as I did with Decker. There is just something about a man in flannel with a sexy beard that gets to me. Swoon. Decker’s character honestly captivated me from the very beginning and I wanted to learn more about him. I love every second I spent reading his thoughts and feelings. Everyone needs a Decker in their life.
Decker and Delaney’s chemistry is off the charts. And I mean OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS! Whew! I honestly thought I was going to combust as I was reading this story. The angst and fire between these two was almost too much to handle. It was freaking fantastic. I knew from the get go that the relationship between these two was not staying in the friend zone and I was so there for that. When they finally collided, it was pure fire and I loved everything single second of it! It’s so much more than their chemistry though. Decker truly did everything in his power to make Delaney feel at home. He wanted her to know that she was not alone in this fight. She may not remember anything about her past, but that doesn’t mean her future can’t be full of laughter, light, happiness, and love. God, these two own my heart completely. Their banter was hilarious and so fun to read. Everything about these two was fantastic. I’m game for more Delaney and Decker! The ending gave me goosebumps, it was so perfect. Decker and Delaney just might be my favorite Harloe couple yet!
Overall, I give this story a 5/5! I loved every second of Keeper. This story is full of angst, scorching hot chemistry, humor, love and so much happiness I almost couldn’t handle it. Keeper is my favorite Harloe read. I cannot wait for the next read by her!
