It’s all in the Passion Point Firefighter series.
Keegan- I’m not one to believe in kismet, but when you’re in the right place at the right time…
I round the corner on my morning run and there she is—lying on the ground. When she wakes up in the hospital, will she be okay with me here?
Bryar- I wasn’t feeling well, but I’m a … creature of habit and went for my run anyway. And when I come to, a hand is holding mine. I recognize him from my boss’s birthday party. I’m weak and they won’t let me go home alone. Do I accept his offer to help me or do I do like I’ve always done and run?

“Keegan- I’m not one to believe in kismet, but when you’re in the right place at the right time. You’re there.” Really enjoyed this. Brynn has hit another one out of the park. It’s hard to trust again for the characters. This was quick, tragic, complicated, and steamy. All the characters are great, but Evan, Jacque, and Keegan’s mom were awesome.

He will treat her like the Queen she is, once she stops escaping from him
KEEGAN is the fifth book in the Passion Point Firefighters series. This OTT insta-lust/love short is a fun romp through some more serious subject matter.
Keegan Zraa is a firefighter with a cocky attitude and a panty-melting smile that he knows how to use. He is twenty-seven years old and is still perpetually single because, as his Mamma says “You’re too stubborn to let love in. You’re passionate and you know how to love, you’re just scared.” But his fun may be catching up with him in a way he had never anticipated.
Bryar Dennings is in her early to mid twenties and works as the pastry chef at Season 617, the restaurant that Reese Dynas owns. She loves her job and is very grateful to Reese for giving her a chance. Bryar does not really believe in love or family, as she did not have much of one growing up. Yep she did have parents but was sent to live with her grandmother a few years before her parents died and a few years later her grandmother passed. Since then she has been on her own, relying only on herself and not asking anyone for any help.
One day before work Bryar goes out of a run but she faints dead away on the trail. Keegan is taking his daily run and almost runs over Bryar when he sees her. His firefighter training kicks in and he call 911 and makes sure she is alive. When he turns her over he recognizes her and as she comes to she recognizes him, but then she if out again. Keegan rides to the hospital in the ambulance and waits to see what is wrong. But he is really waiting as he does not want to let her get away …. again. It seems they had a very steamy and intense encounter after the July 4th party at Reese’s and ended up driving off in Keegan’s SUV and knocking boots in the back seat. But they never exchanged numbers which was a regret, really for both of them.
The doctor’s discover that Reese has very low blood sugar and also low blood pressure which has been causing her to be lightheaded and her fainting. One doctor has an idea what it may be…..pregnancy. When Keegan hears this, but before the test is taken and results known, he realizes that he is all in and wants this. Reese is not completely sure but once she knows the positive results she knows she will have the baby, even if it means just her and the baby. Keegan is going to have to convince Reese that he wants to be a part of both hers and their baby’s lives, as she does not want him if he cannot love her also, smart woman. Keegan has his work cut out for him as Reese pushes him away and also makes a run for, well actually an escape from him. But he is able to track her down after a couple of days because his roommate is a police officer, so good contacts.
This is a fast-paced, fun and entertaining OTT insta-love short story with nicely written characters. If I had one issue is the lack of a final read through to catch the large number of proofreading errors. These are very annoying and detracted from the flow of the story and reading experience for me.
