Kayleb is the sixth book in the Mated to the Alien series. Detyens are doomed to die at the age of thirty if they don’t find their fated mates in time. The series can be read in any order and there are no cliffhangers! Enjoy fated mates, steamy alphas, and plenty of space adventures.

This is an excellent way to escape from… well, everything. With the amazingly entertaining storyline, to the plot twists that shock and amuse, this book is easily worth a second read. A great romance and an equally great science fiction novel. I can confidently give the book a four star rating.
Exactly as described in the book blurb but with some excellent interactions and a few twists and turns – recommended reading for romantics and science fiction lovers.

AMNESIA IS NOT ENOUGH TO BREAK A DENYA BOND
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Kayleb is a Detyen who doesn’t let his brother know that he has a form of amnesia. The day of his thirtieth birthday, he thinks he will die. He wakes the next morning and scares his brother and sister-in-law because he is still alive. Penny, his sister-in-law asks him if he had somehow found his denya, his mate. He says no.
Tessa was Kayleb’s nurse on the ship he and his brother, Krayter, were traveling on with their journey to Earth to find their mates. They mated and Kayleb’s head injury caused him to forget his connection to Tessa.
This book shows insecurities, frustrations, and regrets with second-guessing and hindsight of what should have been done. It also portrays loyalty, love, and the extent one will go to defend one’s mate.
I loved this story and can’t wait for the next book in this series.
This was a fantastic, enjoyable book within this series, although can be read as a standalone. I’ve previously met Kayleb and his Denya Tessa in other books, having read a previous one that introduced Kayleb and his brother and having also read his brother Krayter’s book.
This is a lovely second chance romance which had a great storyline, with lots of action and plenty of steamy scenes. It starts with Kayleb preparing to die on his 30th birthday because he hasn’t found his Denya, but finds that he survives supposedly without having found his denya.
I LOVE this series! Every book within the series is different but all have the same underlying story arc. In this book we meet Kayleb and Tessa. She is a medic on the same ship that Kayleb is recovering on. It is a story that will have you questioning but still delivers. The fact that Kayleb is at the precarious position of awakening and he is confused as to why he is still around when he has not mated and does not remember. (am I saying too much?). This story does move a bit slow at first but not enough to keep me from reading and enjoying the characters. It offers a bit of mystery and with that comes the twist and turns that follow the story arc. Some will question the reality of it but know this; These authors are remarkable writers and will give you the answers you seek. I really enjoyed this story and I know you will too.

Kayleb has a rough ride in this story with making up to his mate after he doesn’t remember her. It was fun seeing the twist in this story with Kayleb not remembering he was mated and thinking he was going to die. The story is action-packed with danger thrown into the passion.
I love this author and this genre which she writes so well.
Detyen warriors get the raw end of the deal, if they do not find their mates by the time they turn 30 they will die. Kayleb has not found his so he spent his last few hours with his brother and he falls asleep. To his surprise he wakes the next day alive and well. He is baffled by this and so is his family. He lost his memories to an injury and they are coming to him in bits and pieces, all he knows is something is pulling him to a specific place and he has no idea why. I loved this book! There is a mystery to solve and lots of action to keep you engaged. I always look forward to Kate’s books and this one was no different.

Kayleb has reached his 30th birthday without finding his Denya, or mate. He spends his last night with his brother, but wakes up the next morning, very much alive. The only explanation is that somewhere, somehow, he met his Denya and bonded with her. Tessa had her heart broken six months ago when the man who told her she was his everything walked out of her life. Now she is in a whole heap of trouble, and has nobody to call on for help. Then he spots her, and his mind may not know her, but his heart does. That is just the start of their adventure.
Kayleb and Tessa get their HEA, and they revel in it. The book is much better read as part of the series, as there is an over-arching storyline, but it can be read as a stand-alone. One-click this one for sure!

this is a wonderful alien romance, filled with tons of twists and turns, an amazing plot that keeps you guessing right to the end, and loads of action, adventure and feelings, plenty of steam.

Kayleb had one more day until his 30th Birthday. He needed to go for air. A lot happened over the next week or so. Danger, scary times not knowing when a pirate would pop up and try to capture them. Very exciting story. Something unique and different happened. I do love this series. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is a fated mates, alien romance with lots of action, steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending. I absolutely loved reading this book and recommend the whole series to anyone who likes reading alien romance. Kayleb is turning 30 and without his Denya, he prepares himself for the inevitable death that happens if they are unmated. But morning comes and he’s still alive, the only problem is he doesn’t know why. When he finds Tessa in trouble and on the run, he knows straight away she’s his Denya, he just doesn’t remember mating with her or any time they were together. Tessa is shocked to see Kayleb again, he broke her heart when he couldn’t remember her after getting hurt aboard the ship they were on and then he left leaving her to be taken as a slave by pirates. Now she’s on the run and Kayleb is determined to protect her whatever happens and is hoping she will accept him as her mate once again.

I think it had a good story. I think it would have been a better story if the pirate chase didn’t take up so much of the story. After all how many times could one person escape from vicious pirates? The love story lost something for me skipping from the future to the past.
The premise was interesting. However, the writing needed a lot of help. The best I can say isn’t there weren’t any typos. Otherwise there was a lot of telling and no showing. I was bored before I got to the end of the sample. I didn’t finish.
I wanted to give it a 5,but the site is not working. I enjoyed the book.
Great characters, lots of tension, action abounds, and of course romance.
I didn’t care for this book. I read it all. When I reached the end I was just tired. Usually, I like to feel enlightened or maybe unhappy that it ended. I felt nothing.
Kayleb is book 6 in this series, and though it would definitely be more enjoyable overall to be read in order, it can be read in any order. I actually read book 5, Krayter, first. Seeing as the two are so closely entwined, I’d say they are the worst to read out of order. So read Krayter first. 😉
Kaleb is much more serious than his little brother Krayter, and his book reflects that. Though he has a serious personality and is much less ‘personable’ than his younger brother, we still get to see the playfulness that is apparently a family trait. I really like Kaleb’s overall character as he felt very fleshed out and balanced. Tessa was an interesting mix of knowledgeable, spunky, and impulsive. I liked her too, honestly. When I say spunky, I don’t mean perky and bubbly, just so we’re clear.
The story is an interesting addition to the series in that Kayleb has found and bonded with his mate prior to his book beginning. The catch being, due to a massive head injury that almost killed him in the time just before he and Krayter arrive on earth, he doesn’t remember an entire week or his mate or being bonded. Obviously, this lends to a whole slew of problems all on it’s own both with his mate and his life (he doesn’t die at 30, which is a major shock to all involved). Roll in Tessa’s boatload of problems and you’ve got a book full of action, redemption, muddled memories, steamy romance, and a smattering of appearances from previous acquaintances.
I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series, I have to say. Lighter than Cyborg, but darker than Krayter, so a nice balance. If you like alien romance with action adventure, this is totally a read for you. I look forward to more books from Mrs. Rudolph.
Kayleb NaMoren spent what should have been his last hours with brother. But when he shocks everyone, no one more than himself, when he awakes the following morning, he is left with one question…WHY? He suffered a brain injury on his way to Earth. Is it possible he forgot his Denya?
Tessa was the medic on-board the ship with Kayleb. They…bonded and when he was injured she treated his injury. But he never remembered her. So much for being his one and only! When he left her behind she stored up a whole lot of resentment, hurt and animosity. When she was abducted by pirates she harboured plans to escape when the opportunity came. She grabbed some information to use as a bargaining chip in case they came after her. But there must be a tracking chip on it cos they keep finding her!
When she bumps into Kayleb again can she trust his aid or will he leave her high and dry again?
Brilliant read. I loved the fact that they had to get to know one another again, even though not under the best circumstances. Tessa may have loathed what he did to her but she finally understands that he didn’t intentionally hide her from his family, he just didn’t want t hurt his brother. We also get a chance to meet Penny and her scary mum again. I love that mercenary mum!
