People say karma’s a… well, you know. Personally, I don’t think I’m that bad. It’s not like I wanted this job. I wasn’t even in my right mind when I accepted the position.
Now, I’m surrounded by crazy coworkers like Lady Luck, who’s a bit of a tramp, and Murphy’s Law, who’s a bumbling oaf. But the worst is Fate. He’s got a problem with transfers like myself, and I have to see him constantly. … constantly. It’s unavoidable. We’re hunting the same man, my murderer.
Author Note: This is an urban fantasy, with a continuing storyline. Although there is a romantic interest, this is not a romance.

Karma is a fun romp into a very strange reality. I enjoyed it enough that I just today purchased the second book in the series.
The action moves along well and the characters are memorable. For a venue that begins with a rather gruesome (though not graphic) death, I found it had a nice amount of humor, not always at the protagonist’s expense. Very readable.
Great read!
The brilliant idea of embodying such abstract ideas like Karma, Fate, and Luck into people was a hard thing to pass up and was executed well. The characters were interesting and the story itself was a good read. I just expected a bit more and, while I did enjoy the story mostly, I feel no need to continue the series.
Interesting premise, but dragged on too long.
Fun read. The characters grow on you, each with their own separate voice.
One of the best in it’s class! I’m on the sequel now and am enjoying it just as much. This can easily give Darynda Jones a run for her money!
Loved it and the sequel. No nonsense style of writing, down to earth characters. Great story!
Well written. Enjoyed reading, but a bit to chic-lit-esque for my tastes. Enough so to compel me to pass on the rest of the series. Readers more in to that genre would likely enjoy this more.
Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
The whole Karma series is outstanding !
Totally unique world and very entertaining
It was ok. I’d read more of this authors work.
I enjoyed the book and would read more
I think it had a lot of promise. For the most part I liked it. The sex was a bit over the top and many things could have been explained a bit better. But interesting concept of after life and our relationship with myths i.e. Santa, lady luck…..
Enjoyable
I couldn’t put this book down loved it
Light, Quirky, funny take on life after death.
Made me want to read on to the next book.
Interesting.
