People say karma’s a… well, you know. Personally, I don’t think I’m that bad. It’s not like I wanted this job. I wasn’t even in my right mind when I accepted the position.
Now, I’m surrounded by crazy coworkers like Lady Luck, who’s a bit of a tramp, and Murphy’s Law, who’s a bumbling oaf. But the worst is Fate. He’s got a problem with transfers like myself, and I have to see him constantly. … constantly. It’s unavoidable. We’re hunting the same man, my murderer.
Author Note: This is an urban fantasy, with a continuing storyline. Although there is a romantic interest, this is not a romance.

Great start to the series. Loved the whole series.
Light and fun, fun, fun
Badass and crazy entertaining.
I really liked this one. It is the first book in a series, and I appreciated the treatment of the characters as avatars of their names. Karma, in this case, the actual agent who causes karma effects in real life. It was well written, and witty enough to entertain me while I was reading it. Worth every penny I paid for it.
I read this book like a 3 year old eats candy! I love Karma’s issues with being not-dead and the “normal” characters that surround her. This is original to me because who thinks of all these people actually existing and the relationships they have can be endearing and side-splittingly funny. It’s a have-to read and I now have to read the rest of …
Loved this book. Anxious to read the next Karma book
I’m torn with this one. On one hand, I love the premise: the afterworld being run like a corporation. It reminded me of the movie RIPD but like the movie, it had some disappointments. Because this a series, I hope there will be some growth with the main character. The plot was interesting but the main character really wasn’t a fully developed …
Woke series was great
So fun!
A great weekend book. I liked the pretense, but then the story shifted. Not a horrible story shift, but it took away from what I thought the book was going to be about. An easy read and definitely out of the normal. I enjoyed it
Fun!
I thoroughly enjoyed these books. I went looking for the others after reading the first one. Great series, interesting concept.
This was the first book I read by this author. I breezed through the series. It was a great, original story. The characters are fun. This is on my read again list. Donna Augustine is in my watch list for new releases and an automatic wish list add.
I loved the premise of using characters for things like Karma, Fate, Murphy–Murphy’s Law, etc. in the after-life group. I did however have some trouble picturing the characters. The story was fast paced and a good use of plausible urban fantasy fiction. I look forward to the next book in the series.
Ok
Very interesting story line which kept me hooked; I needed up buying the series. Would’ve liked more detail and possibly an extension to the series.
It’s a good book It will keep you guessing until the end.
Camilla is killed in a train wreck and signs up to be Karma. She works in an office with other dead people and gets assignments to do things for and to people. Can she find out who killed her and get justice or not??
The story draws you in and soon you’ll find yourself on Karma’s side! Good reading.
Great idea for characters. Fun read.
