Kallan is minding his own business when he meets the woman of his dreams, at the grocery store of all places. And so starts this awesome addition to the Indie Rebels. The action is non-stop and the characters are addicting and maddening at the same time. Truly well written book. Cannot wait for the next book.

This is a well written book 4 in the Indie Rebels Series and I like the character development. I love the interaction with the fellow characters. It shows that with work and trust you can build powerful relationship, but will it last when she learns the truth. The sex scenes gets steamier and more intense as the book progresses. Things will get worse before it gets better, can they work it out before it is too late?
I could not put down, I finished in a single read. The characters are realistic ~ having flaws and problems that life throws at us and more.

Best news Miranda released Kallan ‘s story and it was amazing!!! Kallan is working undercover as his twin. When he meets Isla he has to let her believe he is Kerrod. Their story has suspense, secrets, twists, turns, and hot chemistry. Will Isla be able to understand once she learns the truth? This book kept me on the edge of my seat loving every minute of it! Love the Indie Rebels! Miranda is a must read!!!
Kallan Keegan was shopping at the grocery store when he saw a beautiful woman at the checkout ahead of him. Unfortunately, she was out of the store before he finished, so they didn’t get to meet. He had never felt so drawn to a woman before! Still thinking about her and his lost opportunity, Kallan walked into the parking garage and there she was! She had forgotten where she parked and he helped her think it through and finally remember. He noticed that she seemed interested in him as well. But she headed off before he recalled that he had still not gotten her name or number!
Kallan was a private investigator and quite good with his talents of observation, deduction, and coming up with “big picture” plans. His identical twin, Kerrod, was an IT contractor, though his excellence at developing software for any purpose had gotten him into some trouble sometimes. Both of them were going to meet at their dad’s house to help him declutter and prepare to move. He forgot his dad’s keys, so rang the bell – and the beautiful woman from the grocery store opened the door! Isla Morgan was buying some of the furniture. She mistook Kerrod for Kallan and had already accepted a date, to Kallan’s dismay.
Kallan is pulled into a secret investigation by the Indie Rebels, a powerful, privately funded, crime-fighting group. Although unsanctioned by the police, more than a few high-profile criminals were now in jail because of them. On his first case working for the Indie Rebels, Kallan has to pretend to be his brother – who had been in trouble in the past over some illegal hacking – but it was significant enough that a crime syndicate would no doubt be looking for him to help them with a major cybercrime they were planning. Kallan would take his place while Kerrod is kept in a safe house. But the thugs knew about Kerrod’s interest in Isla, so Kallan is expected to date Isla without revealing he is not Kerrod. Ilsa’s ex-boyfriend had lied to her, so now she values a man who is always open and honest! This could cause problems when Kallan has to lie about his identity! Will she forgive him when she finds out? Or will he end up losing the woman he cares for over this?
Twins can sure complicate things it seems! This was a good story with an intriguing story line. It would be awful for Kallan to lose the woman when he’s trying to do a good thing. But he can’t tell her about the ultra-private Indie Rebels, so it may be impossible to explain the deception. Grab your copy and find out what happens!
Kallan and Kerrod are identical twins who get caught up in a investigation that has Kallen pretending to be his brother. Kallen met Isla in the grocery store but they never exchanged names when next they meet she is on the arm of his twin brother. This is a complicated story with some twists in the story and all the while Kallen/Kerrod and Isla are together and are very attracted to each other but when she finds out that he has been pretending to be his brother will she understand.
The story line was good and the book had a smooth flow. The character work was great. I was entertained from beginning to end. I look forward to the next one.

Wonderful love at first sight romance. When Kallan saw Isla at the grocery store, he was caught, immediately feeling an intense attraction for a woman he didn’t even know. As a PI, you would have thought he would have asked for her name but he didn’t. To his surprise, he meets her again at his father’s house but she has latched on to his twin brother, Kerrod. Isla was drawn to the man in the grocery store parking lot and is surprised when he doesn’t recognize her. Boy, is she shocked to learn there are two of them. This becomes a challenge since she feels an attraction to Kallan and not Kerrod. Kallan is pulled into a secret investigation by the Indie Rebels which has him posing as his brother Kerrod but when Isla suddenly ends up in the middle, well, Kallan’s romantic life is tested. He is falling for this woman but she believes he is Kerrod. Is there any way for this couple to end up together? Or will the lies be too much to overcome? I love the mystery behind the Indie Rebels. Kallan and Isla are a great couple. I love Isla’s strength and determination when she is faced with challenging situations.
This book has everything – romance, suspense and wonderful characters.
All Miranda’s books are must reads.

The criminal underworld get their comeuppance once again with a new story featuring twin swop and a love interest who thinks she can tell them apart, until that is she gets totally confused. A nice escapism book in this time of lockdown.

I was so glad to read another book by Ms. Charles. This is another good book regarding the Indie Rebels with an interesting twist. Kallan and Kerrod may be identical twins, but they have different interests. I think when it comes to women though sometimes twins want the same woman! This is what happens when they both meet Isla. It was very interesting how Kallan and Kerrod got involved with the Indie Rebels. I liked how Isla was so honest and said what she felt. I did feel bad about how she wasn’t able to be told which twin she was falling in love with. I liked Kallan’s personality and how he wanted to do the right thing for his brother and for Isla. I always get upset when people pretend to be good aren’t and there are a few of those in this book. There are some situations that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. There are twists and turns that I wasn’t sure which way they were going to go. I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
