Real characters. Interesting plot twist.
Loved this book
Funny sometimes and strange in others but enjoyed very much. A good read for any mystery fan.
An ok read, but somehow lacked “spark”, and seemed to drag in places instead of getting to the point.
Story line jumbled and I thought the main character was a whiney and caustic.
Great read !
This is the second I’ve read in the series. The story is not bad but I just do not like the main character. As a procedural details are missing. Madison does not really seem to make good decisions for herself again and again. I will pass on future offerings by this author.
Just didn’t suit my taste
Maddy whines a lot and expects others to be as dedicated to what she is dedicated to! She keeps running off her boyfriend Blake because of her overthinking of the situation–I’d like to see a Maddy who doesn’t focus so much on her feelings and worrying that someone is going to take advantage of her–again! Her partner is a saint!
Although intrigued by the scheming and action, the philosophical question, “What is love?” made me ponder.
Immature and unprofessional characters. They are preoccupied and openly communicative with their personal lives and that of their colleagues. I could only get half way through. Too childish.

She seems driven to solve crimes at the expense of herself (and her detective partner’s) personal lives. She has a dysfunctional relationship with her family and at …
