They can’t keep up with the body count he leaves behind. FBI agents Jade Monroe and J.T. Harper are on the trail of their most recent serial killer, but they know his whereabouts only by the carnage left in his wake. By the time they reach his most recent location, he’s long gone.Without a clear description of the man, they’re chasing a shadowy figure that people see from a distance—a … ghost—that’s killing at an alarming rate.
A stroke of luck brings the agents face-to-face with a survivor. What they learn from the woman’s hospital bed description of her brutal attacker changes everything. The situation has suddenly become more than dangerous—and to Jade, more than personal.

“Editorial Review
Investigators believe three young women were mauled by bears but soon find out they were actually victims of a monstrous murderer, and newly minted FBI agent Jade Monroe is brought in to help find him. The killer is clever enough never to be seen on surveillance camera, and Jade and company start to believe they’re following a ghost. The body count goes up, and so do the stakes for finding this madman, who begins to strike closer to home. Fans of Jade Monroe are in for an emotionally charged ride with Sutter’s latest, a most welcome addition to her terrific new FBI series.” Angela M., Editor, Red Adept Editing

You don’t know who done it until the last 10 pages…neat twist!
The author never fails to provide a fantastic novel and one you don’t want to put down.
Poor character development, not enough to like about the protagonist.
I’ve been reading a lot of David Baldacci, so maybe I’m spoiled. I thought Justified was a well written book and easy to read. I just came away feeling that while the author really has the craft of writing down, I’m not so sure about the art. The characters were black and white, they lacked color. I didn’t feel any emotional attachment to any of them, and I missed that.
Great series. Full of action and suspense with wonderful characters.
Fantasticaly written story with action and much to think about as the story unfolds. It also gave me clear answers as to how the US justice system works (where FBI, police and sheriff’s jurisdictions start/end/overlap). As an Australian, I’d never understood the boundaries of those before! This was a deep and fascinating look into the psyche of one form of evil. I will eagerly read more by this author in the future.
Excellent!!
This book is about an FBI agent tracking a killer who kills woman campers in isolated areas. The FBI agent discovers it is someone from her past who attended the same high school she did.
Loved it.
Extremely creepy page turner!
If you enjoy man hunts and getting into the head of police officials (in this case an FBI agent) and into the head of the criminal this is a good read. Completely enjoyed this book. Highly recommend this book and this series.
Read two of the authors books so far.
Good stories…
On the trail of a serial killer on the rampage ‘Justified’ is the 2nd book in this series. FBI agents Jade Monroe and J.T. work hard following every lead. As the case progresses ,little does Jade know how personal catching this psychopath will be. The book is full of action, and suspense. Good characterization and an absorbing plot make this thriller a good one.
Good read
Enjoy this author
Loved it. Keeps you wanting to read until the end.
Immediately grabs your attention and keeps it.
Good story. Too gory for me. Lots of carnage. Dry in telling.
Repetitive and wordy
Have gone through 3 of the Jade Monroe series. quick read and very entertaining as to how criminal pro filers work.
