Blind since birth, Corrie Madison relies on her other sharpened senses in her job as a chiropractor. Never did she imagine she’d have to depend on them to identify a killer. But when a man enters her practice, murdering everyone in his path, Corrie is the only witness—putting her directly in the killer’s crosshairs.
Officer Quint Axton wasn’t looking for love, or even a relationship, until he … until he meets Corrie. Beautiful and brave, resilient and intelligent, she’s everything Quint wants—if he can keep her alive long enough to explore their mutual attraction. The threats on Corrie’s life are escalating. Surely a blind person is helpless against a ruthless killer?
Hardly. Corrie is about to prove that disabled does not equal defenseless.
**Justice for Corrie is the 3rd book in the Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

I liked that the heroine did not let her physical disability hold her back.
This was a great book. Corrie is a blind woman who has witnessed murders of her coworkers and friends. The murderer has realized he left a witness behind that can identify him and he is searching for Corrie so he can eliminate her. Corrie meets Quint Axton, an officer with the San Antonio Police Dept. He starts to fall for her while protecting her. You will want to read the book to find out how it ends!
I was impressed with Corrie as a self sufficient blind character. The regular routines and practical daily applications Stoker used showed thoughtful research in creating the character and gave a believable feel to the story. Top things off with a bit of suspense and romance and you’ll find a good read with this book!
Love her books
Was a great read
I was very excited to read a story about a differently abled person. It started out well but the authors insistence to constantly remind the reader that the main character “Corrie” is blind but fully functional slowed down the pace of the story and sounded patronizing after a while
First romantic suspense I have read about a blind woman. Very well done and really demonstrates that sometimes The handicap we see is ours not theirs. Good read but does have some steamy parts.
I liked the female character a lot strong and take charge
Will never miss a book by Susan stoked. Every book is different story line. Touches everything in real life from handicaps, emotional breakdowns, its, rape you name it. Wonderful heroes and heroines.
Great book!
I loved this book as well as all of the books in this series. Susan Stoker has become one if my favorite authors.
Love this series
Very unique and a great read on crime solving from a completely new perspective!
I really liked the view into the independent life of a person blind from birth.
A great read with an interesting story plot full of intrique and enjoyable characters which was a real page turner.
Great Book!!
I have tried several novels by this particular author and I just can’t enjoy her particular style of writing. This is strictly my preference and has nothing to do with her as an author. I am sure others can completely enjoy this book.
Corrie is a blind chiropractor and is very independent. She is at work when she hears a pop, pop noise and people screaming. She hides under a kitchen sink until the police come. Her co workers were murdered and the man was looking for her assistant.
Quint is a cop and meets Corrie at a restaurant where she is waiting for her lawyer. He is in awe of her and asks her out. But when Corrie starts getting threatening letters and phone calls, Quint wants to protect her but she’s too stubborn and independent to let him. When her assistant is found, Quint tells her she’s moving in with him until they catch the killers.
Corrie gets kidnapped and Quint will move heaven and earth to find her. But Corrie is not some helpless blind woman, she figures a way to escape she just has to stay hidden so Quint can find her before the killers do.
I honestly didn’t think this would be as good as it was. Corrie is spunky, sarcastic, beautiful and strong. Quint is protective and falls head over heels for Corrie. It was funny, suspenseful, and very steamy. It will leave you on the edge of your seat.
I liked the story however it seemed over the top with regards to his obsession with Corrie almost on the verge of stalker-ish.
Looking forward to reading more of the series
