This is an amazing series that I have loved from the very beginning and Book 1 Going Down On One Knee is Brek and Velma’s story.
This was an awesome read about Brek who has to come into town for a few reasons but ends up helping his sisters job as a wedding planner. He stays with Velma. who is a little uptight and has a 5 year plan so she doesn’t even give him the time of day even though she is attracted to him because he doesn’t check off the boxes she has set. These two have an instant attraction and the chemistry is off the charts. I loved the wedding planning side of things it was hilarious all the mishaps that happened and I kind of felt sorry for Brek for having to deal with all of it but in the end he did good. This was a cute and sweet read and Velma had some serious insecurities but time with Brek helped her slowly get over them. I fell in love with Brek and slowly learned that Velma wasn’t too annoying with her plans but she had her reasons. I highly recommend. Book 2 Blow Me Away is Jase and Jade’s story.
I laughed so hard, so many times it was awesome. Jase, poor Jade had his issues but his family were the type to try and help him without his say. Yes they were overbearing and overwhelming but they did have good intentions. Heather, she had been burned many times before and had intentions of never going there again but Jade weaseled his way into her heart. Babushka made me laugh so hard. She was the heart and soul of this family and book. When babushka has a plan or goal she goes all out and it happens whether her family likes it or not. I honestly thought Brek was my man but Jade seriously gave him a run for his money. I liked getting to see Velma and Brek again and now we need Eli’s story. Book 3 Take It Off The Menu is Eli and Marlee’s story.
Every book in this series so far has been beyond amazing, and Eli’s story is just as great. I loved everything about this book I loved Marlee and her personality, attitude, strength, and heart. She was a caring girl who did come from money but she never really let that define her and she loved her friends deeply. This group of friends that Marlee had included Eli’s sister Sadie and they all had me laughing so hard and poor Eli was always there to take care of them and make sure they didn’t lend up in trouble. As usual a trip to Vegas doesn’t actually stay in Vegas so this is the start of things for Eli and Marlee. Eli was such a beautiful person inside and out he helped everyone around him, he would give anyone the shirt off his back I’d they needed it yet he pushed people away in fear of having to take care of them and he didn’t realize he was already doing that because he cared about his family and friends. These two together were insanely perfect because they balanced each other, Marlee being outgoing and Eli being kind of closed up. I also loved how we get to see the other characters from the previous books and my favorite as always is when the guys get together and hang up on the Hero at the time to show them they are being an idiot and need to get their head out of the sand . I really hope this isn’t the last book in the series because it’s such a great one and the author makes you feel a part of their group, their families, and town. I can’t wait for more from this series because each book has been amazing and hilariously romantic.
