Just Swipe Right is the 3rd book in the 425 Madison Avenue Series, each book in the series has been penned by different authors. Book 3 was written by Allie York & it was the first book I have read by this author and I would be inclined to read other books by this author after reading this one. Just Swipe Right isn’t as steamy as the first two books in this series but it’s guaranteed to get readers smiling. Since it was easy to connect with the H&h, I wish it didn’t take so long for these two to get to their HEA or I wish the book was a bit long so the reader was able to see where their HEA is headed. If you are looking for insta-lust & a steamy heat the pages read this one probably isn’t for you. BUT, if you are looking for that slow burn, sweet romance with a swoon-worthy HEA, definitely one-click Just Swipe Right by Allie York, book 3 in the 425 Madison Avenue series.
I did receive an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my own opinion with my voluntary review.
This is the third story of the 425 Madison Avenue Series and this time, it’s the wonderful author, Allie York’s turn to give us a great story!
Eliza and Murphy’s story is sort of a unconventional love triangle but don’t worry, neither sleep with the other people just date them while trying to figure out their true feelings for one another.
This was definitely a roller-coaster ride you want to jump on and read because it did have some funny and sexy as hell moments too as well as if Eliza will choose Murphy as her man or?! Go read to find out! 😉
Eliza and Murphy makes for a handsome couple. She has the dream life if only her sister could leave it be which she doesn’t. Eliza’s sister signs her up for a dating app where she meets two men that takes an interest in her one of them being Murphy who has moved to the city for a life change equipped with new apartment and job. There is a lot of chemistry between him and Eliza but there is another who also is interested who will she choose? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
One of the cutest books I’ve read in a long time. First let me say who doesn’t love dating app books. They are one of my favorites. I love the way they met. I’m not going to name names because I won’t spoil it. But this book has a beautiful ending so worth the read.
This was a cute read.
Love this author and this genre. A must read. I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this one – I’m not huge on love triangles, but I fell in love with Just Swipe Right from the very beginning! I am new to Allie York, but I am so in love! This series is one of my top faves of all time and I cannot wait for more!!
~A sweet, cute, and fun read~
Review rating: 3.5 stars out of 5 – Dating apps and a sister who means well…These two items break down Eliza’s defenses, but she eventually finds her own way to the man whom Fate seems to be throwing in her path time and time again. Suddenly, Eliza has two men she is dating, one of them who seems to be exactly what she had wished for since she was old enough to dream of a future, and the other is totally unexpected but seems to fit right into her life. Add a couple of pooches and and meddling secondary characters and you have a sweet, cute and fun read.
First book I have read from this writer. This one was intense and interesting right from the beginning. Dating online is becoming the thing. Piper puts her sister in a site and her sister agrees to one week. She meets several different man on this site. Murphy she actually meets before they see that they match on the site. But there is someone else that she is interested in. Which one will she choose? A well written enjoyable story about choosing the right one for you. Enjoyable great characters with great chemistry.
Swiping Right to find Mr. Right
Just Swipe Right, the third book in the 425 Madison Avenue by Allie York deals about the common decision making issues in finding the true partner in the current dating app based love life of a Couple.
Eliza is a columnist and a single for all over eight months, her sister Piper, creates her profile on Match Me to find her a new date. Though hesitant in the beginning, Eliza gets herself involved in the app and starts talking to guys and meeting them.
Eventually, Murphy, a chef who is now single for over eleven months creates a profile on the same Match me dating app by his friend, Derek’s insistence. He too swipe right on few profiles and start meeting up with girls.
More then a man created app, Eliza and Murphy meets by God created destiny where both cross their in many occasions including a date with someone else. Eliza also meets Stuart, an CEO and start dating with him before Murphy lands on her eligible match.
Eliza dates both men at the same time but gets close with Murphy emotionally and physically compared to Stuart. Both men knew she is dating them both simultaneously and both want her for themselves alone. Who is the right person for Eliza and Who she picks at last and How she finds he is the right one is the story.
I loved this book, it had clearly dealt with how today’s generation struggling in choosing between two people in the era of dating app. I enjoyed and hence leaving an voluntarily review.
Just Swipe Right is the third novella in the 425 Madison Avenue series. This one is Eliza’s story and involves her experiences with a dating app that her sister Piper convinces her to join. For the most part I enjoyed the book. I’m not a huge fan of love triangles, so I was a bit wary in the beginning. The story is told through Eliza’s and Murphy’s perspectives, so I had an inkling that she would end up with him. I was team Murphy all the way. I loved them together. What I didn’t care for was the scene with Stuart at the opera, especially after she had been with Murphy. It just felt wrong to me. At any rate, I do recommend this one. Overall this has been a cute set of short romances so far.
This is my favorite book in the Madison 425 series so far. I love Allie York’s take on modern dating on a dating app. Fate keeps bringing Eliza and Murphy together in this sweet and a little bit steamy romance.
I’ve read the first two books in the 425 Madison series and enjoyed them. Just Swipe Right is the third book and I think so far, it is my very favorite.
Eliza and Murphy are a great couple, and how they come together through a series of random meetings before the dating app matches them is great. They are fun and funny. I love that Murphy is a big guy but a “teddy bear,” as I’m not terribly fond of alpha males.
One of the best parts of the book are Eliza’s columns. Her advice is funny and often very spot on.
Oh and there are the dogs too. Eliza’s Dudley and Murphy’s bff’s dog Dozer are wonderful.
The relationship builds so nicely as they have missteps with other dates and find themselves falling for each other.
Both are seeing other people though Murphy knows where his heart lies more than Eliza. She’s the one in a triangle, even though you can tell early into her relationship #2 that Stuart may be a bit a of douche canoe.
The drama at the end…was great at getting her together properly, but the other drama that came right after that almost made me hurl my kindle at the wall, because I love Dudley so much…just saying.
This was a great quick read that was super fun.
Allie York has written a fantastic, romantic, and cute novel about a big handsome chef named Murphy and an advice columnist named Eliza. Piper, Eliza’s sister (and roommate) talks her into downloading a dating app to meet men, whereas, Murphy decides to give it a try after hearing about it from his best friend and roommate, Derek. Eliza and Murphy meet randomly several times, often walking their dogs, and finally match up on the app. However, they each meet other people also, making things a bit complicated despite the instant ease and chemistry between them.
I loved Murphy! I mean, loved this man, lol! He was sweet, kind, romantic, sexy, and most of all – exercised a great deal of patience. I liked Eliza also, but couldn’t help but worry that she would break poor Murphy’s heart once everything was said and done.
The secondary characters were also amazing, although Piper confused me at times, quickly going from encouraging Eliza to date multiple men to pressuring her to dump Stuart and just date Murphy. And the twist with Derek at the end was absolute perfection
Just Swipe Right is a light-hearted and romantic read that further enhances the 425 Madison series. My only complaint at all, and this is minor, would be that the resolution seemed a bit rushed. I went from being sad thinking that Eliza and Murphy wouldn’t work out, to being even sadder worrying about her little, ugly dog Dudley, to realizing that there was a perfect “happily-ever-after” ending in a very quick time frame. Nevertheless, I loved this one and highly recommend it to fans of contemporary romance with a touch of humor. If you’re a dog lover, even better!
I am really loving this 425 Madison series! Each story is different, written by different authors, no overlapping characters, just a common building.
Eliza has a good job and her good life but her sister thinks she needs to date. So she sets up a dating profile for Eliza so she can meet a man, date around a little, etc. And while she’s going about that, she keeps running into Murphy. And Murphy sounds like my kind of guy; big and teddy bear-like.
Now if only real online dating worked like that. I’ve done it and guaranteed, I’ve gotten some winners. I’ve also gotten a very good guy friend out of it so I can’t say it was horrible.
Can’t wait for more 425 Madison!
When Eliza is coerced into dating through an app, she meets two different men that she has a connection with. But how will she ever choose between them? There’s sweet, swoony Murphy and wealthy, commanding Stuart. Whom to choose?
This is a sweet, cute rom-com. It’s not super deep or particularly steamy, but the characters, especially Murphy, are likable (make that lovable in Murphy’s case) and fun. This series so far is a big win, can’t wait for more of 425 Madison!
Eliza and Murphy’s story is the third entry in the 425 Madison series and my favorite book so far.
Their story of online/app dating is different and I liked how they met outside the app initially. I think I liked Murphy as a character better, but Eliza is smart, sarcastic, and has a fun job as an advice columnist. I do wish I could have gotten to know them a bit better. Everything felt a bit surface. The plot also seemed like a lot was stuffed into the last 15% of the book or so and one character’s actions seemed extreme and a little out of nowhere.
The flow of the plot feeling a bit off may have been because I think the book is on the shorter side. I think if it had been a bit longer things could have unfolded with better pacing.
This is the first book in the 425 Madison series that has made me curious about what else the author has written. I will definitely check out the authors other books!
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
I found this book to be so sweet and refreshing. Murray is the small town guy finding his way in the big city after a break up and ends up meeting ELiza. Eliza is a fun character who is looking for research for her column and book. I love the banter and the real interactions between the characters and just the sweetness of the story.
This book was such a sweet and refreshing romance and I loved it
This a cute story about a woman who tries online dating and finds herself in a triangle of her own doing. There is some alternating POV, but the story seems to be primarily from the perspective of Eliza. I think my favorite parts of the book were when she was replying to the letters rather than her dating escapades. In addition, this book takes quite a while to get going. In fact, it felt like there was so much about other dates, that the real story between Eliza and Murphy didn’t get going until halfway into the book. While I understand the rationale of the author for doing this, it took too long for my taste and I found my attention wavering. This story would normally have been finished in 2 days max, but it took me at least a week to garner the desire to finish. And let me clarify; the story and writing is fine, I believe the pace is what threw me. The dogs and sister (Piper) were all fun and great secondary characters to the story; it wouldn’t have been the same without them.
Overall, I’d deem this story okay, but not one that will stick with me. It’s a light summer reading with a HEA.
A wonderful sweet romance that is well written. This sexy, fun, sweet romance was interesting and exciting about online dating and fate. The characters were well developed and likeable with awesome pertinent secondary characters. I really enjoyed their journey of coincidentally meeting time and time again before being matched on the app. A great addition to the Madison 425 series. I honestly and voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
