This book chronicles a family. As the father leaves the inn which is owned and run by he and his wife, their three adult children are also experiencing life struggles and decide to return to Willow Beach. As the family members adjust to new normals, they find comfort and happiness in their small town surrounded by people and love them unconditionally.
I am still reading this book and enjoying it!
My kind of story. Everything doesn’t have to work in order for people to pull together and work.
Cheesy. Tasha is at a dead end in LA, dumps her boyfriend Chuck, returns home to Willow Beach and finds Eddie and a starring role in community theater. Sparks fly. Melanie, a veterinarian, still lives in Willow Beach and misses Derek, her ex-husband until Colin comes along with an injured dog. Sparks fly. Georgia wakes up one morning to find her husband, Richard, has abandoned her for a younger woman and cleared out their bank accounts, but then Joel comes to stay at the Inn and a deep friendship begins. Drew gets cut from his baseball team and realizes that he’ll never make it to the big leagues so he heads home to Willow Beach where he meets the vacationing Ashley, and sparks fly. Cheesy.
A story of Georgia Baldwin who runs Willow Beach Inn. Her maid at the end runs away with her husband. While this was happening all three of her children are going through crises in their life’s. As the story progresses, it shows the struggles each one of them goes though. They all find joy and happiness. This is my first book by this author and will look for other stories by her.
I am always distracted when reading a book that has punctuation errors, grammar errors, or typos. This book had enough to distract me.
It was a bit unrealistic and predictable but entertaining, never the less.
trite
Lady whose husband runs off finds happines with family anf friends. Clean moale book.
Throughly enjoyed reading it. Looking to find some more of the series
Good chapters, realistic
A book with a lot of charactets/family melding together. There were times in the book I wished a character had been more developed or more follow through on their actions. But over all, enjoyed the book and would read a sequel, to continue to follow the characters.
A touching story with wonderful characters and a thought provoking storyline.
This was a feel good book. Main characters had problems to surmount in their lives, but managed to do it. In today’s world where there is bad news every time you turn on the radio or TV, this was a book filled with happy endings for the characters. It was like a Hallmark movie in a book and at the moment that’s not a bad thing.
This is the first of 4 books in the series. I got all 4. The only disappointment were a few editing errors in the last book. But, then again, I’m an editor, so I noticed. The series is very good. I recommend it the characters are well developed and the reading is easy and relaxing.
Predictable story; shallow characters
stopped reading. Then saw it was for younger readers. too many characters and a juvenile plot line
Reading the series.
Great read. Did not want it to end !!
A page turner that I didn’t want to end. Great characters and enjoyable to read
