Presley ‘Elvis’ Carlton was at the top of his game. Number one draft pick, engaged to an up-and-coming model, and voted best player of the decade his first year on the field. Things were golden. . . until an accident saw everything important torn from his grasp. He’s determined to get his life back, though, and with a strict regime, and no time for a life outside of the game, the last thing he … game, the last thing he wants is the attention of a curvy college student whose only motto in life is to not take it too seriously.
Can an Australian expat show the struggling sports star there’s more to life than the next win? Or has Willow Underwood chewed off a chunk of man-meat too thick for her to swallow?
Just Playin’ is a standalone sports romance RomCom that will give you all the feels. It has sexy scenes and several laugh-out-loud moments. This is not tied to any of my other books, and can be enjoyed by itself. AKA: No cliffhangers!

Presley is trying to recover from an injury to get to what he was before he was hurt. Willow is a former ballerina trying to figure out what she wants to do now that she can’t dance like she dreamed. Sparks fly between her and Presley when they meet. Things get crazy and just don’t seem to settled down much for them. Will Presley see that Willow is perfect for him or will he let what his ex did to him rule his future?
I laughed so much throughout this book that I got stares because I was out in public and not at home where I probably should’ve read it. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Fun, quirky, entertaining. Enjoyable read. There are a few cuts in time that do t make sense. But overall a good story.
04/15/2021 “Just Playin'” (nook) is an involved story about an American football player and a girl from “down under.” The story keeps your interest with angst, betrayal, love and passion. Bravo for having our heroine, Willow, be satisfied with her weight and for Elvis loving her curves.
My favorite author
I loved this book! Great romance with steamy scenes, but I laughed myself silly in parts that were really funny.
This was a great book! Quick read, great story and characters!
I loved this book, never laughed so hard on my life over a romance novel. Can’t wait to read the next book. Great characters and story.
This is such a different book, as the heroine has a mouth like an outback ocker, which is anything but polite, but hilarious. The dialogue is so funny and unexpected. The characters are fantastic, and the storyline just as superb. Loved it.
Laughed out loud at some of the dialog. Really enjoy the read.
I loved this book
Personally felt abit confused with the writing style. Overall was not a bad read.
This story is laugh out loud funny!! And I love all the comments that come out of willows mouth. Haha. Presley/‘Elvis’ (E) is awesome and I live who he is with willow. 10 year age gap is nothing. Guys are immature to begin with lol. Glad Lillian got her coming to her. And those who helped as well that’s karma for you.
No touchdown for me
Just Playin’ was enjoyable but missed the mark for me. I thought the story-line was interesting but had a hard time following the actual story and some of the characters actions I did not care for. There are some very glaring mistakes around American football that really were annoying while I was reading, and I am not even that into football but even I picked up on them.
The story could also use a good editor as there were a number of story details that varied throughout the book.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. The story was light hearted, fun loving and more like someone’s real life. Willow and Presley had great charisma.

The wittiness and love written for each character had me turning page after page with excitement, laughter and adrenaline to want more. I love the character especially Willow for her dorkiness and spunk. She gives remarks as well as can take them. Elvis is absolutely naughty thought inducing with a lot of cockiness and laughter. Give this a read and repeat like I will. I was in tears from laughing and want more!

I loved how Willow loved herself. She was unfiltered and was trying to live her best life. She was comfortable with Willow. If you were not, then that was your fault. She did not allow anyone to push her around on bully her. her relationship with “Elvis” went from cute to fun and sexy. They did not rush into it even though the chemistry was there. Elvis was the perfect match for Willow. He was strong with alpha tendencies. Well written with great characters all around.

I have read a few of this authors books now and this one took the cake for me. At least until I read the next one. This story is about Presley ‘Elvis’ Carlton and Willow Underwood. Presley is on top of the world one day until an accident strikes and now he is not. Willow is an Aussie who hates American football with a happy-go-lucky attitude. These two characters have a roller coaster ride of fun ahead of them. We get a front and center seat to enjoy the show as these two fight their attraction to one another. It all kicks off with their first meeting and it involves eating bad chicken. Can these two make it through the challenges ahead? Can they find their HEA? Enjoy this read as it will have you laughing your butt off.

Super enjoyable romance between Quarterback Elvis and Sassy Aussy, Willow.
I loved the quick witty banter, but I especially liked Willows snark, smarts, and confidence. Totally horrid things were said about her weight and size but she handled it with sass and sometimes a bit of physical clash.
Elvis was a romantic foil for Willow and he pulled through for her again and again even though he was a bonehead when it came to his ex.
Thank goodness for Willow’s strength of character and hidden talents.
Fun and Sexy read!!
