Hetta Coffey is a sassy Texan with a snazzy yacht, and she’s not afraid to use it!
She’s living aboard her forty-five foot boat in Mexico’s spectacular Sea of Cortez, taking work where she can get it and, characteristically, she isn’t all that concerned about any pesky legalities involved.
Docked at a pricey marina in La Paz, her cruising kitty is taking a hit, so when she’s offered a dream job, … dream job, she jumps on it. All she has to do is act as a courier, babysitting equipment and sensitive documentation for her former employer to their new offices in France.
Not only does she get to revisit a country she once lived in and loved, she’ll meet with her significant other, Jenks Jenkins, in Paris. Oh là là! An easy job and a romantic vacation, all paid for; what could possibly go wrong?
With Hetta? Just about everything.

Thoroughly entertaining as all of the Hettie books have been.
Juvenile
It was a little slow starting, but once the plot developed it is a very entertaining light mystery.
I enjoyed this book. Liked the characters and the story was interesting. I read this out of order but it wasn’t that hard to get into the book. Always love when dogs are a part of the story!!!
This young lady is a real talent. She is another Janet Evanovich without the F-bombs. I’m looking forward to her next book.
I have read all the books I can find from Jinx Schwartz and can honestly say I have enjoyed all of them. They all share the common theme of Hetta Coffey and her adventures but I believe they all can stand alone. thank you Jinx Schwartz for all the hours of entertainment you have provided me.
Entertaining but the author tries too hard to be cute and she needs someone to correct her attempts at French.
She’s the best
I love these easy-to-read, funny books. This one set in France was very true to French life. And her use of French phrases was pretty good, too.
I absolutely enjoy all of Jinx Schwartz books especially the ones of her escapades in the Sea of Cortez as we used to vacation there a lot. I also enjoy France so this was a nice departure.
Funny characters, and great plot.
Was hard to get into it but after a few chapters it was good.
Fantastic author and this book, in a series, is phenominal, great mystery and action-packed! Highly recommend it and the series.

Swell story. Hard to put down.
Fun, easy-to-read. Love this author. You don’t have to think too much, just hang on for a fun ride!
Well written. Very descriptive of places and characters.
Good story
Love the girls getting into different situations but finding ways to get out of them
Never got by the first 50 pages.
I didn’t get past the first couple of characters. I don’t know why because the writing flows nicely – it’s just not my cup of tea.
