Hetta Coffey is a sassy Texan with a snazzy yacht, and she’s not afraid to use it!She’s been visiting France for a couple of months, barging on the Canal du Midi with her boyfriend, Jenks Jenkins She hit the hot spots in the South of France, ate great food, drank fine wine, and foiled a terrorist plot: all the usual stuff. Now, she’s ready to leave for Mexico and back to her yacht in the Sea of … the Sea of Cortez, but not so fast! At the last minute she’s offered a mysterious and lucrative assignment by persons unknown, and jumps at it. After all, Jenks is back at work in Dubai, so why not stay in France a little longer and make some bucks, to boot? Never mind that she doesn’t know where she’ll be working, or for whom.
Ending up aboard a mega-yacht in the Mediterranean—with a surprising crew—she quickly finds herself embroiled in a kidnapping, and up to her neck in bad guys; the problem is, just who are the good guys?

I’ve gotten drawn into this series, so of course I had to read the latest. Not a bad series, fun to read. This book was a bit predictable, but still worth a read.
Hetta Coffey is the funnest, silliest detective I have ever fallen in love with:) I have read them all for a lark, always entertained and happy to pay for the next one. She and her band of wacky wanderers will stretch your imagination to the limit!
This series is a winner in every way. I love the out of the ordinary settings which is the heart of this series. Excellent for a travel guide as well as the funny, mystery aspect. I highly recommend!
Hetta and company just give you an entertaining read anytime!
Loved Hetta’s latest adventure and as usual the book was hard to put down. Can’t wait to find out what she gets herself into in the next book!
never thought about living on a boat until I read this series of books
Another great adventure for Hettie.
Story line is tightly knit, very readable (even with several languages expressions) and easily helps the story plot right along with just the correct amount of flavoring.
Not quite as good as the earlier books, but still a good read. The author is getting a little more flippant with the characters, relying too much on their known traits rather than developing the story. But if you’re a fan of Hetta’s and her friends, it’s worth the price to read the latest adventure and I look forward to future ones.
I love the friendships and characters in this series, especially the female leads! So fun!!
Another great book from Jinx Schwartz! Hetta Coffey and all her friends are together again for a wonderfully witty and engaging, page turning thriller. Love the quirky characters and their handling of difficult and often frightening situations. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this latest chapter in Hetta Coffey’s suspense filled life!
This series is a great light read. The sarcasm is excellent and it ties the books together.
Good read
