I seduced my brother’s best friend to take my innocence, And he convinced me to fake marry him! Jake Dunne: Sinfully handsome. Naughty . Funny. Piercing Blue eyes. And kisses like nobody’s business… father!
It was supposed to be….well, let’s call it ‘a business arrangement.’
Only six months.
Each of us gets our dreams,
And we call it quits.
There’s just one simple rule – ‘Don’t fall in love.’
Except that I broke the rule.
And while Jake is busy getting the divorce papers ready,
I am staring at the two pink lines on the stick.

I love this author she has totally made me a fan. The characters are well developed and engaging and have plenty of chemistry. The storyline has enough twists to make it interesting.

Sofia is aspiring to open her own bakery when she receives an offer from Jake, her brother Tony’s best friend and the man she lost her virginity to. Jake needs a wife to show the executive partners of his law firm that he is stable enough to become a partner. Sofia is not thrilled with Jake’s offer and has serious doubts about accepting but its either that or return home to her over protective family a failure. Can they make this “fake” marriage work to both their benefits or will they crash and burn? I loved the characters, both supporting and main. I thought that the story line was well written with just enough twists to allow character development.

On Sofia’s twenty-first birthday she seduced her brother’s best friend. She hoped it would lead to something more but it just lead to disappointment. Jake wanted Sofia but the guilt from betraying his best friend weighed heavily on him and he pushed her away. He ended up concentrating on his career as a lawyer instead and worked his way up in his firm. Sofia moved to New York to make her dream come true however she was on the verge of losing her home and nowhere near close to opening her bakery. Her friend that worked at a law firm talked her into coming to the anniversary party and bringing some of her baked goods as well. What she didn’t know was that Jake worked at this firm as well. Jake was stunned when he saw Sofia and didn’t waste anytime making his way over to her. Sofia was civil to him but not as friendly as she used to be. Jake knew he ruined everything by how he treated her and wished he could make thing right. When her friend told him about her losing her apt her knew hat he could help Sofia as well as himself in one swoop. He went to her work and asked if she would meet and to talk that it was important. He gave her a proposal to think about. Marry him and help him make partner at the firm and he’ll help her get her bakery up and running. They would both get their dreams and then they could end their marriage. Sofia agrees even though she still has feelings for him and knows this might be a bad idea especially since they are keeping things a secret from people at home. Can they keep things strictly platonic between them? Will Sofia give Jake another chance at her heart?
This is an amazing story that will have you on the edge of you seat wondering what else will happen. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

really enjoyed book
I really enjoyed this. Its about two friends that grew up together but have feelings for one another but each is to nervous to tell the other. Five years past & now they both have moved to NY city for jobs. Seeing each other at a party they realize they can help each other out. Making it a win-win situation. They have to fake it front of people but alone they don’t need to fake it so feelings start growing stronger, until they can go no longer hide them.

An absolutely fantastic well written romance! The storyline is well thought out, well written, witty, and relatable. From start to finish I was captivated with the overall quality of this book; the drama and ups and downs add to the overall enjoyment. Likeable and interesting characters; their chemistry is off the charts and the sex scenes are steamy and well described. Definitely recommended.

There is no faking how much I liked this book
Sofia, a pastry chef, has dreamed about Jake, a lawyer and her brother’s best friend, for a long time. As the story progresses dreams shift, deals are made, and the house of cards could either crumble or turn to stone depending on words chosen. Katy Kaylee’s Just Faking It was a good fake marriage book. The characters were realistic and plot was well developed, including just the right amount of dissent to keep me from feeling like the story was all rainbows and roses. There is no faking how much I liked this book and I found myself smiling quite a bit throughout.

Let’s start off with by saying that with each book we get a chance to read by Katy is that she knows how to keep us interested. This ine was no different. We meet Sophia and Jake. One is a sister and the other is a best friend but when you involve sex into the equation things change. They have this hot and heavy love affair that ends up turning into love. You never see the sown side but what is truly there. You are left crying with joy when they finally make sure they have a HEA. A must read and I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
This was an enjoyable read. I’m definitely going to read the other books in the series.
