It all started with a sexy selfie.Texted to the wrong number. Oops. Not my finest moment—but I have nothing to be ashamed of.She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douche-bags she was never dating again. It was a stupid dare from a girl I’d met online, but since she’d given me a fake number, I didn’t feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere—on the … that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere—on the fiery and sharp-tongued, Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening.
The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana.
When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton , in case you’re not tracking.
And let’s just say she had my full attention.
Brains? Check.
Beauty? Oh yeah.
And the best part? She hated me on sight.
Dear God, do I love a challenge.
Let the games begin.

This was a fun, quick and steamy read that was, despite what the description says, low on the angst, although there were a few eye rolling moments in there, and had some pretty great characters and moments that kept me turning the pages until there were no more words to write.
I really liked Josh and Peyton. Josh is sweet, funny and while he does have that cocky alpha thing going on, it ends up making him more charming and had me wanting to cuddle up with him. Peyton is sweet, sassy and hard working. I loved that she saw an opportunity for a business and took a leap of faith on it, and herself, and put her all into making it a reality.
Josh and Peyton’s journey was a lot of fun, though not AS angsty as one would believe based on the description, but still a good time especially considering how they first ‘met’. Things were a lot more sweet and funny than drama filled as they worked to move beyond the selfie incident and attempted to stay professional, which didn’t really work out all that well. But when they were together the chemistry between them was undeniable and I loved watching them get to know each other on all levels. As for their bump in the road, I gotta be honest, I just can’t even deal with it. I can’t. Things didn’t need to go down like that at all and the cluelessness on the perpetrators part had me wanting to do more than Gibbs smack ‘em. But, thankfully, things do get straightened out and I gotta say the grovelling was very well done.
This really was a fun, quick read, although, as I’m sure you are tired of me stating, doesn’t necessarily line up entirely with what the description lays out, but it is, what it is. As for the supporting cast of characters, Grams and Duncan definitely stole the show ~ especially Grams ~ but I loved Claire as well and in a weird way, I wouldn’t mind seeing Brody again one day and seeing him get his own HEA.

This is the first book I have read by Mrs. Ryan but it won’t be the last.
Josh is a man who is just looking for some lovin when he accidentally sends an inappropriate picture to a wrong person. This starts us on this amazing adventure.
At first Peyton is disgusted at the pic that she is sent and is enraged. However the next day when he sees the rest of the package, rage turns to lust and she has a hard time getting through with the meeting.
I loved that the attraction was so deep that they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. I loved how sure Josh was of Peyton’s success and finally I loved Grams.
I really liked the relationship that formed between Gram and Josh. She was his biggest supporter from the very beginning.
Josh Hanson talks to the reader like we’re in the room with him and we’re his confidante. Either that or we’re good at being a mind reader. Peyton Richards is an up and comer. It wasn’t long before I came to realize that the author was going to have me laugh – a lot. Just need to make sure of my surroundings before I let it all out.
There’s a secondary character that will also give you plenty of laughable moments. It was those times that I wished I had been a fly on the wall first a first hand experience instead of playing out in my mind. Could also picture her fitting in with my own family. Our author was very good at not letting her overtaking the story. I could picture her ending up stealing the show but Ms. Ryan did a perfect job at getting our attention back on our main characters. And it’s a good thing since there are plenty of steamy moments that also add to the pleasure of getting to know Josh and Peyton. The ending is pretty good since the author gives us one last small laugh. Plus she includes a treat – a sneak peek at her next book.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I absolutely love everything that Kendall Ryan writes! Junk mail is a sweet, fun, flirty lighthearted read. It all starts with an Oops text message send to a complete stranger.
Josh never expected to come face to face with the girl he accidentally sent a “dirty text to. He is even more shocked when he finds out it is his new potential business partner. Will he be able to face her and make their business relationship work or will she run when she discovers who he is?
Peyton can’t believe her eyes when she opens a text message from a random number. She also never expected to see the face attached to “dirty” text. Will she be able to keep it together and work side by side with Josh?
I loved the connection between Josh and Peyton. I also loved the relationship between Peyton and her witty grandma. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. I can’t wait to see what Kendall is working on next!
I love reading a Kendall Ryan book because I’m guaranteed a book that will suck me into the story so much so that I can’t and won’t put it down until I see the words “The End”. Josh and Peyton were nothing short of hilarious, witty banter and explosive chemistry. How can you go wrong with an inappropriate pic to the wrong number, sexy texts, an attraction to a potential business partner and a grandmother who intervenes when she feels it’s necessary…… you just can’t, so grab your copy of this fun sexy read now!

This book is actually really quite funny. I laughed a lot through this book. A lot more than I have laughed in any of this author’s books. The storyline, the characters, how everything went, just made the book a fun book to read.
Peyton and Josh have chemistry right from the start. You can feel it through the author’s words. I loved the way the story played out and I really could not put it down. I look forward to more from this author.
I absolutely loved Kendall Ryan’s latest romantic comedy, Junk Mail—it was completely addictive, and the kind of fun, light-hearted book that keeps a smile on my face the whole way through. I’m definitely a fan of Kendall Ryan’s writing, especially in her sassy, sexy, easy-reading contemporaries and romcoms. Junk Mail was bursting with the heat, heart and humor I love in Kendall’s books, but she gave this workplace romance an interesting twist with a not-so-cute initial meeting.
Peyton and Josh have the banter thing down pat from their first interaction, and I couldn’t get enough of their witty, smart banter. But the chemistry between was palpable and that simmering attraction equated to some seriously sweet relationship build-up, and I was rooting for this couple from page one. The story was full of mischief, and I especially loved Josh’s inner musings as he tried valiantly—and not so valiantly—to keep things professional. That became a fruitless effort simply because this was a couple that was effortlessly playful, overwhelmingly passionate and so perfectly paired.
Junk Mail was just the kind of fun-to-read romance that I love from Kendall Ryan. A charming, sweet storyline about two endearing characters and their irresistibly sexy romance, I absolutely devoured this entertaining romance in one sitting. Kendall Ryan’s Junk Mail gets 5 smooches from me!

Funny and awkward become hilarious and steamy!!! Kendall Ryan does it again with Junk Mail!
Ryan definitely knows how to make an impression. So it’s only fitting that she bestows that quality on the characters she creates. Junk Mail takes an awkward moment and turns it into a saucy commentary. Josh and Peyton are awesome. From sexy to sassy, they bring a wit to the table that is fun to experience. He pulls her strings, she pushes his buttons and I enjoyed every minute of their showdown of hearts.
🙂
Leave it to Kendall Ryan to knock it out of the park.
This book was the perfect comb of funny with romance and some drama. Couples meet in a lot of different ways but for Peyton and Josh it was really weird. Of course I wont say how they met, but I will say their story really is great. I know fans are going to love it
I generally like this author but this is not her best
First book by this author and now she has me hooked. Loved this book so much. Made me laugh and when a book does that, I am all in! LOVED!
Junk Mail by Kendall Ryan was super light and fun. Just the thing to tune out life for a little bit and escape when the house is just too much. Low on the angst and high on the silliness creates a fun afternoon listen for a little me time.
Joe Arden is always a yes “please and thank you” choice for me giving Josh an appropriate amount of growl, dominance, and also sweetness. Savannah Peachwood complements him by bringing to life Peyton’s insecurities, strength, and spirit and also captures the grandma character to perfection.
What starts with a naught you know what pic begins a story of awkward beginnings to a HEA. And let’s be honest with ourselves, who doesn’t love a happy ending these days. Peyton is sassy and fun and Josh is smitten. I have always wanted to dress up and make out in a coat closet with a man in a tux. A mom can dream right LOL. And Grandma is the perfect comedic sidekick, full of inappropriate innuendo with a touch of sage advice.
A go-to author!
Enjoyed Reading!
Very good book love it
Funny and entertaining. Loved the characters, kept me entertained til the end ( which I didn’t want to end)
Was a good book
Would have like to bop his partner over the head to lying to her…but some guys just don’t get it. Good job.
A whole new meaning of junk Mail !
